This issue is serious and you need wisdom. I like that you've been able to identify where you got it wrong. Another mistake I see here is that you should have taken a cue from your mom as to when your aunt can come. You mom may know what you don't know, even with her "undependability". Clearly, things are not right between the two of them at the time they were planning a visit.

My experience with application and some tips

There's heavy traffic from chrome and firefox browser, so I will suggest you use opera browser or phoenix or any other browser out there.

Also, I did a kind of workaround with my application after I noticed some error (SSCE missing, port missing and wrong short code on the submitted form). I am not telling you to do this, just giving out info on what I did. It may or may not lead to disqualification, but I am willing to take the chances.

As doctors, you have multiple areas to specialize in. The course medicine is a versatile one, but this is not imply that it is the most important one in the healthcare sector.

Permit me to digress a little bit from the topic at hand. The issue of Minister of Health is one topic that is a tough one. Other specialists within the healthcare sector believe that the role should not be reserved to medical doctors only because the role is actually managerial and istrative. It's not as if the minister will be treating patients. The non-inclusive istration of our healthcare sector is mainly borne out of greed. I don't hate doctors or the profession, but I believe it is time they understand that healthcare is evolving and there's no monopoly of role, responsibilities or benefits.
