Teeunz: See my responses below: 1. Tuition payment is not compulsory is not stated on your acceptance letter to do so. 2. The funds should appear in your sponsor's /your personal , you have to explain to the officer that the funds is available and can be utilised at any point for your tuition, living expenses and other miscellaneous expenses during the course of your studies in Canada. The above advice is applicable if you're using your parents or self-sponsorship. On the that you're using a third party sponsorship (Uncle, aunt, or company), your guarantor will be required to pay certain amount to show commitment for your education in Canada and prove to the immigration officer that you will have full access to funds. Bolanle18090040: Forget about NSCC, for getting study permit with this school is oftentimes difficult. Try some of the good colleges in Ontario even though they might appear expensive, but they have better prospects of getting approval. The visa officer knows that you're applying to NSCC because the school is relatively very cheap and easier to secure permanent residency after studies. This information is based on my wealth of experience dealing with diverse immigration applications. In spite of everything, the final decision is yours to make ![]() It will end In praise 3 Likes |

lilangel20: The visa officer is not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the completion of your studies. The incentives of you remaining in Canada far outweighs your motivation of coming back to Nigeria. More importantly, the officer noted that you've weak travel history which doesn't count as a postive factor in his assessment. You've a very good profile that will make you a deserving candidate for a Canadian study permit. Work on your economic ties back home e.g proof of ownership of properties in your name or getting deed of gift documents showing your parents have transferred a particular land/building to you. Also capitalise on your future goals and career prospects in Nigeria and use your SOP to sell yourself wisely on how your proposed program would be of great benefit to your career and the change you will translate to your home country after studies. mod1411: I wouldn't advice a married man with kids to submit a "deed of gift" in his application. This would raise concerns that you're not sufficiently well-established in your home country and the officer will question your intention of wanting to study in Canada when you've to seek for external bodies/relatives to help you fund your . It further increases doubts that your family will not be well catered for in your absence. It will end in praise 3 Likes |

Biot34: I regret to hear about the refusal of your study permit. Did your cousin show any proof of commitment by paying part of your tuition deposit to the school as well as transferring funds to your bank ?. From my understanding of the refusal grounds mentioned by the visa officer, they are not convinced that you will have full access to funds in your cousin's . Work on showing funds at your disposal and establishing strong proof of relationship with your sponsor. It will end in praise |

Beeman3000: You will be required to apply from your home country where you've adequate ties. Unless you've an active post graduate work permit in the UK, only on this are you eligible to apply from there. Although, I have weighed both chances applying from UK and Nigeria, and from my findings, it is much more easier getting a Canadian visa from Nigeria than UK. It will end in praise |

Muslimah1200: From the wisdom of my vast experiences, i will advice you not to apply for a visa when your spouse hasn't landed Canada. The SIN and study permit which are issued at the point of entry are important documents to be included in a Spousal Open Work Permit or Visitor's visa of the accompanying spouse. Should you apply without these documents, your application will not be processed in a timely manner. On the other scenario you mentioned, I will recommend that your spouse goes first before you can put in for your application to her in Canada. This will considerably help her application build strong ties back home. It will end in praise 1 Like |

Greenwisher: I'm interested in handling difficult and complex cases like this with several rejections. This is my expertise! In view of the above concerns highlighted by the responsible immigration officer, there are strong doubts as to why a graduate of Environmental Mgmt, working as Manager/Supervisor is applying to pursue a PGC in Occupational Health, Safety and Wellness program at Conestoga College. The visa officer is not convinced that you've bona-fide intention to study this course in light of the fact that your employment history and previous degree doesn't demonstrate a reasonable progression. It further raises concerns that you're using study visa as a route to facilitate entry into Canada rather than career advancement. In a bid to salvage these enumerated concerns of the officer, my professional advice for you is to seek for a master's that is directly relevant to your current employment - Management. Apply this advice of mine in your fourth application with a well-worded LOE put up with encyclopaedia evidence, your application will be a success. All the best It will end in praise 10 Likes |
