Lagos just enjoying everything bcoz of d airport and especially the seaport containers landing zone. Govt wont develop other places to allow the whole country flourish. Later they wonder y some are agitating for Biafra.
Im arahia mehn
There is an international airport in iboland. Igbo land is land locked but there is seaport in south south. Why are you not using them?

A sad fact.
But then Lagos is strategically positioned for it with advantage in developed sea ports, airports and a ready business environment with various value chains and consumers.
There is nowhere else in Nigeria that such would have happened anyway. So i won't blame igbos for creating such business in the only real ready made market.
My blame rests solely on the federal government for under-developing the rest of the country, especially igboland. We need to restructure.
Igbos dont dominate computer village. Na lie. Does Enugu not have airport? What about seaports in the south south? Why are you not using them?
Even if they restructure Nigeria, you will still blame other people for your failures.

Good to see you lose your toga of neutrality and meekness.
Now we can discuss with real hostility and no more pretence.
Here we go.
USA is a poor example to use, USA was formed by willingful union of the original states that made union and with full consent of the people.
It's also a nation of migrants who invaded and displaced the original inhabitants of the land, ie the red Indians.
It's a very poor example to compare Nigeria with. A close example to Nigeria is Spain and Yugoslavia.
Chinese is a world power, more than capable of holding those people hostage without international help. Your Nigeria is a failed Third World colonial contraption, you must be delusional comparing yourself to China. A better example would have been Ethiopia /Eritrea scenario. That's what it would be, if you don't get international help.
And even if you get international help to subdue Biafra again, it would be at the expense of your future prosperity, as the world powers would force many economic suicidal policies down your throat in exchange for their help. You won't survive a second civil war without a chronic and terminal economic death.
You are naive, if you think so.
Nigeria is a broke failed state, already at war in NE with Boko Haram, you are already stretched to your limit financially and economically speaking, opening another war front in SE will not go well for you.
This is not 1960's when you got away with many war crimes, this is ICT age, you will be thoroughly scrutinized by the international news media and social media.
You also had not factored the fact that there are many want away groups in SS, if Biafra war ensues, these groups will capitalize on that to declare their own republics or atleast demand total control of their resources as a condition to stay with Nigeria, a condition we all know is not acceptable to Arewa, as it would defeat the very aim of their current forceful union.
First of all, there is more to Igboland than just Biafra, we know Igboland extends beyond SE.
If the East is landlocked, then Arewa is deadlocked.
An Arid area with a teaming population of miscreants and poor people( almajiri), a region that despite billions Nigeria had spent on its agriculture is yet to make the country food sufficient, as the country is still a mass importer of food.
You must be living in stone age of you think the civilized world would help you execute another starvation agenda in this 21st century.
You already having humanitarian crisis in your NE, if and when Biafrans turn the heat on you, your entire NC and NW will be a refuge camp.
You should be ashamed of yourself, if in your diabolical mindset you think you are going to be allowed to bomb civilian positions in Biafra without repercussions like you did in 1960s, you must be a demonic entity living in stone age.
Another thing is that not all NC will fight on Nigeria side. Some are tired thanks to Fulani herdsmen. Minorities tribes in Benue, Taraba e.t.c have been battling the Fulanis for years.
Nigeria cannot survive another civil war

shatap you opportunistic mischieves. yes the arewa youths did well and needs applause because Nigeria needs broken into smaller unit. but if Nigeria must break, then it can only be into 2 (north and south), but the usual yoruba and igbo rubbish will make it difficult to be into 2. And 3 can NEVER BE because we the South South will NEVER EVER form a country with the Igbos. LIE LIE. We rather remain in Nigeria. hear me again, igbos na opportunistic thieves.

You listed West, North and East without South. Where is d South? Niger Delta i mean
So you think Niger-Delta wants to be part of Biafra... It ll be a world war
Even within Niger Delta alone, war ll be a daily routine
Fola, that should not be your business. South south can decide leave biafra when Nigeria splits into three first.

There is an alternative to avoid a war...
Recall all senators and reps from Abuja
INEC organizes election and only those sympathetic to the referendum clause and Biafra elected back.
They simply lobby their colleagues from the Middle belt, SS and SW.
A majority is formed and a motion is ed
A yes to the motion is ed into law
It is ratified by 2/3 of all states house of assemblies and it's ed into law.
Your senators and reps then demand a date for your referendum.
Quebec, Scotland, Catalonia etc all did that so why must this be different?
You need 2/3 of the reps to vote it into law. Even if the SE, SW, SS, and MB vote in , they wont be enough.

A few immature people posted above me. I am Yoruba by the way, but I cannot understand why some of my fellow yorubas are insulting igbos on a thread about the Eko Atlantic project? What is the relation ?
Anyways, Eko Atlantic is ok but two things:
1. It is elitist. I would rather invest that money in New York or London
2. Eko Atlantic cannot save this animal republic
You get sense. I dont find anything unique in that crap

cool...these are the kind of developments that happens when leaders are willing to act and there is continuity in governance... this works in places where people don't agitate because of perceived marginalisation but harness their unique nature towards achieving excellence... I wish other governors can replicate this and show that with intelligence, common interests and hardwork, everybody regardless of tribal affiliations can aspire to be great
What is lovely in this?

Nwanne, Ogadimma. They cant eat their cake and have it. We love them and tried to make them reason with us to make Nigeria the better place like it ought to be. But they chose to always make the north rule since they that side.
I dont blame them tho, Its never easy to convince a monkey that strawberry is sweeter than banana.
Now i get you. You are and angry bitter that gej lost the 2015 election.

The Northern youths are beginning to reason. It is very good that the youths of today do not want to repeat their father's mistakes. You dont have to blame Buhari. He is an old man and was one of those men that "fought for Nigeria Unity" 50 years ago. Yet, nothing to show for it. The truth is that Nigeria has never been united and will never be. Since we have 3 majority ethnic groups in Nigeria, then let Nigeria split into three.
North for Arewa
West for Oodua
East for Biafra.
This is the easiest way to split Nigeria. We can become good neighbors.

There is nothing like One-Nigeria. We would not need to say that if we are truly one.
I have not heard of "One Yoruba" before. We dont say that because we know we are already one.
People that shout "One Nigeria" only deceive themseleves.
