Since Wike has judiciary in his pocket, Fubara too has CJ of the state in his pocket too. Let's see how the 7 man constituted in the process of the impeachment would override the interest of CJ

Very funny, it will take little effort to get the CJ to the other side if they are really bent on impeaching the Governor

Does it change much? Rivers state has the 2nd highest igr after Lagos. Fubara without lg allocations still has so much money to play with.

Fubara should also be a bit clairvoyant in anticipating his adversary's next move. That way, he'd be a step ahead of them.

Even the internally generated IGR is not supposed to be touched without appropriation which the court seems to be saying. Fubara needs a lot of wisdom

Never even knew he was the CSO and always wonder his role because all past presidents from OBJ to Buhari never have their CSO doing gum body like this guy was doing to Tinubu, right from the campaign period. He basically displaced the ADC with his very intrusive presence around the president instead of in the background like all other cso to former presidents.

He is more like the orderly.

[quote author=Kylekent59 post=131400452]You filmed him and brought it to social media for what?

For us to mock him or what?

Why can't you take the video to his superiors rather than bring it on social media?

How will his kids feel if they see this? His family ? If the man commits suicide because of this. Who killed him?

Many individuals are immature. He may believe he was doing the right thing by posting it on social media, but he was not.

Bringing the video to his superiors and being confronted with it demonstrates maturity.

Putting the footage on social media is childish.

It is his greed that brought him shame to his Children. He is paid salary, why did he choose to beg again? if he goes extra mile by giving the Travellers a smooth service & experience, he will definitely get unimaginable Favour from some of them & there will be no Troubles. Instead, his likes would like to deliberately make things difficult for Travellers with the mindset to extort them & what follows one day will be regret & condemnation.

God bless you. Substantially increased allocation, courtesy of fuel subsidy removal, plus the chance to make a fortune in commercial agriculture, at a challenging time, yet all Bala Mohammed know to do, as the Abuja-focused and inept leader he is, is to point fingers at Tinubu.

They all shout "hunger" as if we do not know Governors control the land in their State and can deploy some for commercial farming that can defeat food insecurity for good and improve the income, prosperity and economic wellbeing of their respective States.

His talk of 2027 shows this one is in power for power sake alone and not to use such transformationally on behalf of the electorate.

Even worse is the fact he is already a second term Governor already, having taken office as Bauchi Governor in 2019, meaning his talk of 2027 can only be in regards to installing his stooge in power as Yahaya Bello did in Kogi. Governors are a big part of the problem of Nigeria.

I don't blame the Governors; it is the majority of people who think Nigeria's problem is exclusive for the President to solve that I blame.
We need to start focusing more on the Governors.

On the above, Atiku is absolutely right and I agree with him 100%.

However, there is a wide difference between protest and robbery. What we currently have in the name of protest is actually robbery and security agencies can't fold arms watching miscreants breaking into people's shops and carting away properties while disguising as protesters. It was reported that these so called protesters broke into a bank yesterday in kaduna. Please what has protest against govt got to do with breaking into commercial banks?

Criminals in action should be shot. You don't take a businessman down to penury because you are not happy with the govt. Who told you the businessman is happy with the same govt?

Atiku knows what he is doing. He knows what they are doing in the North is not protest but robbery & rioting.

This is what happens when a government is daft. The guys are not willing to put in a deep thought into providing lasting solutions. What they know is only to throw some crumbs at the problem, and then run off and be screaming that they've done something mighty. That's why you're hearing palliative here and there.

Let me tell the government this! I think that parents of these students will rather have decent jobs where they can earn and pay for your wards, than relying on government loans to pay their school fees because they don't have jobs. The government should think about this and work towards finding a more sustainable solution.

Here's one example of how they can think;

80% of government vehicle purchases will be outsourced to local car manufacturers/assembling companies. In exchange, the govt will task these companies to create 10,000 to 20,000 jobs monthly both directly and indirectly. Same will be done in all our consumption of crude oil by-products. All these items will be purchased locally and the suppliers will be tasked with creating sustainable jobs.

We know people like you, easier said than done.

From your response is this Feeding allowance for students or flexing Allowance,. Or Tuition Fees..

What's the purpose of the Loan?

Someone should please throw gas light on it

The 20k is monthly upkeep allowance payable directly to the student every month, while the school fee is paid directly to the student's institution. The 20k monthly upkeep for 12months + plus the school fees forms the student loan package.

Just imagine celebrating 20,000 to the extent you come online to celebrate it?

Thank God if you are so wealthy & 20k means nothing to you.
For your information, the Schl fees is paid directly to the institution while the 20k upkeep is paid directly to the loan beneficiary every month for 12months/one academic session, after which you can re-apply.

Nigerian politicians are very self-centered.

Makinde is about to set a dangerous precedent. Having failed to prevent LG autonomy as recently affirmed by the Supreme court, State Governors have been scheming to find new ways to circumvent the ruling without running foul of its provisions.

And less than four days ago, Makinde insinuated this very move all in a bid to detach his state chairmen from the Nationally recognised body, so he can continue dictating operational of the LG finances due to his state.

The irritating part here is seeing the chairmen buying into his nefarious scheme to the detriment of the ordinary indigenes. All these things for why the Nigerian populace keeps being restive and demanding circumstantial changes through protests that are now becoming violent.

What a waste of a country!

This because the LG chairmen aren't multi parties..if this LG autonomy will work, then a more transparent body should conduct elections not SIECs

Victor Osimhen is still a small boy , who lack home training as well as an average player.

What was. his performance in the just concluded Africa Nations cup. He fizzled out when he was needed most to delivered.

Though Osimhen is a footballer but an average player who does not really deserve all the accolades given to him because his not special on pitch like messi , Ronaldos etc.

He prefers to use his strength rather than medulla oblongata to change the tempo of a game. For stance A striker collecting yellow cards in a match. He needs to learn from experience strikers past and present strikers in the world in order to improve his game.

Findings revealed that 15 state governments are yet to implement the old wage of N30,000. They are Abia, Bayelsa, Delta, Enugu, Nasarawa, Adamawa, Gombe, Niger, Borno, Sokoto, Anambra, Imo, Benue, Taraba and Zamfara.

All this just to justify Tinubu tripping is a way too funny.

In sane clime what should a man of 80years be doing in government not to mention of governing 200million people.

Tinubu should be at care givers home resting with his great grand children not in Aso rock.

And the US is one of the climes you lot is traditionally referred to as sane clime, how old is their President? Just to start from that point..

There are many private organizations that has annual budget bigger than most countries. Have you seen annual budget of Microsoft or Facebook?

FIRS is not a private company. They have no right under no law to have more allocation than any state in Nigeria even if the state is generating zero capital. Every agency should advocate for more allocation that is bigger than states because they have been giving authority to collect tax or revenue?

Is tax or revenue collection fund generation. Tax not channelled back into the economy is destroying the economy.

FIRS & other Agencies aren't collecting allocation, States do.. What collect is what is statutory theirs in accordance with the law establishing them via the Acts of the National Assembly. Even YOU can't change it the Practice if you are the President even if you don't agree with the process, you must mobilize the National Assembly to amend the law establishing them. So chill, those who made the law that established the law know why via public hearing. So chill bro, it is fine to be emotional but do not let it override your sense of objective reasoning.
