Thank you Tierney. Besides his injuries, he was a traditional LB that did not evolve much and couldn't fit into how Arteta played. Arteta likes his FB to invert and Tierney struggles with that. He was one dimensional with his attack but I thought he gave us a different approach, especially with his ability to overlap and whip in good crosses.

Picking up a penalty 18 minutes into OT is just a costly mistake

Draisaitl remains in me of the best clutch players. If anyone is going to score in the OT, it would be Draisaitl. The Panthers are not going to make this easy.

I am not necessarily swayed by TV intelligence, as there is no assurance that intellectual depth will transfer. Most players who played at the highest level would have strong tactical knowledge and can talk about it.

Inter are a really big fish, an environment where winning is the expectation every season. They are not interested in building a project that others will roof.

I really want to see what he achieves in his first season. I have a close idea on how he would play but can he push them to win trophies? I want him to succeed but I have also seen instances like this go South when young coaches make that big jump; most recently Thiago Motta (Bologna-Juventus).

The NHL universe desperately needs McDavid to win a championship. I don’t know how many players get a consecutive Final appearance after losing the prior. Also, they have to win now because I doubt there is much they can do with their roster after this season. They don’t have a lot of youth to build from.

If I am the Oilers, I am worried about the Panthers and their away record, which is impressive. Hyman is going to be missed in this series because of his ability to rotate between the 1st and 3rd line.
