To those with Stipend Issues: If you have not received your stipend, tell your employer to send an email to [email protected] to make the complain with the Intern details included in the mail. I can't explain succinctly how tough schedule has been for me, especially away from SURE-P matters, and there are lots of people with Matching issues. How I wish I've been properly match on 28 Oct. at d fair in Ilorin, now I should b thinking of filling the time sheet but alas We're still stuck on the re-matchimg issue for more than 3 weeks now with no prospect for when help will come.

I'm beginning to put this sure p of a thing behind me little by little hoping a beter thing than it will surface with Grace of God.

It's not like a conventional job interview. In most cases, the prospective employer just asks for your Bio data, your qualification and your skill set to know if you can be of any use to him/her. It's really nothing any intern should worry about.

Good luck to Interns that will be at the 3 Internship fairs today; Minna, Ibadan and Uyo. Patience pays at fairs. Stick around until you get matched. Do not look-down on GIS, not a perfect process but it pays to be engaged, one way or the other.

Just want to appreciate you for your relentless replies and comments to redirect peeps here to answers to issues that have been previously discussed here, and also offer opinions and suggestions to their issues. Special mention also goes to @authority2006. Kudos to you guys. To all those with Stipend issue, I already mentioned that SURE-P has commenced a Mop-up procedure to sort out all Stipend-related issues. Hold on till the end of next week, I believe your case will be resolved before then.

According to Puntersmind from previous answered post, he said that the only way that employer can know that they were NOT APPROVED by sure p is showing of ACCESS DENIED on their GIS .
So I will suggest that u reach to those people that came for inspection for possible revisit for ur firm approval.

You can't be requesting for Re-match when you have never been matched before.

A few important points to make: In the next few weeks I would be too busy to visit this page regularly. In the light of this, all those that have been pounding my mail for re-match, send in your information ASAP. Lagos internship fair, which is the major remaining fair for the year, will be held about the 8th of December (Date hasn't been finalized yet). Survey would commence next week for 3 days or thereabout. FOR STIPENDS-RELATED issues: SURE-P plans to start sorting out payment related issues from next week. If at the end of this month, your stipend issues is not sorted out, send me a comprehensive email with the company information/Your personal information (Send detailed emails). For those that asked for one form of assistance or the other from me but couldn't get it, I want you to know that it isn't because of lack of Political will , not for lack of interest in assisting but time and a couple of other things. I have tried to be as helping as I can be, I believe my little effort here helped a person or two. Cheers all.

Yes, disable people are part of the scheme but you will have to find understanding companies to match with. In the case of the position I d. The ICT firm want a "Computer Scientist or Business manager" and moreover, I have started working with an intern here on that one.

I am aware a couple of them that I assisted have been receiving their stipends.
