A friend applied for new port last week at Ikeja and got it this week but he paid 45k for d new port for normal process oh ... So it depend the state where u dey apply ur own.. also i think they are using most of d booklet for d new port than d old port i don't really know

Hello everyone, Gurus in the house. Firstly, please I'd like to ask if I should be worried about the UK address on my TB Certificate. Here's the thing, I did the TB test in August while I wasn't sure which University offer I will be accepting ( I have a couple of offers from different universities). So I have just decided to go with an offer from a Uni. in Cardiff but my TB certificate does not carry this University's address but my previous flat address in Scotland. I hope this is not a problem when applying for my visa?

Secondly, can I use the bank statement that was printed 3 weeks ago in applying for TIER 4 VISA? (I still have my maintenance funds and all intact in the ). I and my family will be applying together, and these are the documents that I am planning to submit with my application;

CAS
DOCUMENTS LISTED ON MY CAS
BANK STATEMENT
KIDS BIRTH CERT.
MARRIAGE CERT. & WIFE'S CHANGE OF NAME ADVERT.

Don't waste your money or bother changing the address. IT DOES NOT MATTER. Mine had a different address because I changed my Tier 4 sponsor along the line and I got my visa with no issues!

For those who are still curious about how important the UK address on the TB certificate is, I got this email from my university's international office.

The address shouldn’t matter on the form – when you fill in the visa form, put the correct address and in the notes section at the end of the visa application, put a note to explain the TB certificate has the wrong address and your new UK address is in the application form

According to the rules, you are not demonstrating academic progression mainly 'cos you don do PGD for SHU. If to say na only BSc you get, you for stand a chance. Either try a higher level masters or PhD

Pretty sure you don't need to show academic progression if you are applying outside the UK

Although you need to show academic profession when applying for further studies in the UK. However, since you are changing career they might consider ur application.

The other drawback will be the fact that u are not allowed dependents as an undergraduate

I think the bolded applies only when you are applying from within the UK

Email them. That’s the most reliable way to get a date. The booking system on their website is out of sync and you still need to them directly to get a date. Email does that fine. You don’t have to call them.

I have tried paying the IHS surcharge of 1680 dollars using paga verve and paga linking my GTB to my paga but it takes me back to the UK site saying "Error, we are having technical problems"
Is this a problem from the IHS site or is it the paga transaction?
Has anyone had this challenge and how did you pay for your IHS surcharge please?

Someone from this thread told me she applied in October and got the ATAS within two weeks, hopefully we get ours as fast as that too. Mine is over two weeks now.

I really don't know if it will be too late, maybe we might need to do priority, let's just hope we get the ATAS asap.

I almost attended Sheffield hallam but couldn't get my cas, I prefer UWE bristol they at the best for international especially Nigerian students.

But the problem is, he needs to satisfactorily explain the reason for changing to a lower level of study to these universities. Not really sure how PDG in SHU to BSc Nursing can really be explained tbh. And there licences are on the line so they wouldn't want to take that risk.
