My refusal Letter
This letter refers to your application to study in Canada as a temporary resident.
On January 22, 2024, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) established an
intake cap on most study permit applications. As a result, new study permit applications
submitted to IRCC must include a provincial or territorial attestation letter (PAL/TAL) from the
intended province or territory of study (or for applicants destined to Quebec, an attestation of
issuance of a Quebec Acceptance Certificate that confirms the student has a place in Quebec’s
share of distributed study permit applications), unless the criteria for an exception is met.
Your application did not include a valid PAL/TAL from the province or territory where you plan to
study and, based on the information provided in your application, you do not meet the criteria for
an exception. Therefore, in accordance with the Ministerial Instructions with respect to the
processing of certain applications for a study permit, your application cannot be accepted for
processing. Your processing fees will be refunded. Refunds may take between 6 to 8 weeks to
be issued.
Should you choose to re-apply, please submit a new application including all required
documents and pay all applicable fees. Please ensure you provide a valid PAL/TAL or provide
evidence that you meet an exception as part of your submission. Visit: Study permits: Provincial

They are assuming the wrong letter was ed with the application. This is what made the letter invalid. This can not be a re-consideration, and needs to be a new application with the correct letter.

This you can either do via requesting GCMS notes which takes about 30days response time, could be less or more. But in my case, my uncle who lives in Ottawa went through ing his Member of parliarment (MP). Seems MP has direct phone communication with IRCC to get similar result we get from GCMS notes.

The children may receive a hit on pgwp application as dependents. The rules is somehow for foreign workers.
Applying for pgwp without teer 0, 1, 2 and 3 jobs in labour shortage occupation, the spouse will not be eligible for OWP.

Even peeps that use immigration consultants to process their application do get refused talk less of others. Canada has changed a lot. To get sowp with pgwp or study/visit pernit for dependent kinds will be difficult now with the new policy.

It's very simple, post a link to a recent policy that affects the kids of international students while studying. If you can't, just move on abeg.

This is where you missed it.......
They blocked 🚫 kids as dependents on tempoary foreign workers application kids are no longer eligible and pgwp is a temporary foreign worker program and this is the confusion and how it may effect international students..applying for new work permit.

Yes it affects them. The law is already was effective jan 21 for everyone.
Your spouse will have to get a job offer in teer 0,1 and some selected jobs in teer 1 and 2 for you to be eligible for OWP when he/she switches to pgwp.
Generally, most of the kids aren't affected. However, dependent kids that were eligible for OWP are no longer eligible. Example dependent kids not more than 21 that were through with secondary schools and were in the past eligible for OWP are no longer eligible.
