Please guys how can I get another sponsor within 60days, I have been applying online 😭🄲

Be calm, you'll be fine. I don't know what sector your sponsorship was, but if it's Healthcare then focus more on domiciliary... There's a higher chance of being sponsored there.

Naturally you'll be jittery at the moment, however keep your head clear and start acting quickly. I guess home office hasn't sent you the 60 day mail yet. Your sponsor license being revoked is not an order to leave the country - that mail probably said so.

I would’ve thought Further Leave to Remain is just a fancy name for visa extension.

The number of years you have spent (almost 5 in your case) is not as important as the Visa Type/Category you spent those 5 years on.

So I guess the question to you is: What visa category have you been on those 4+ years?

The answer to that will help in shaping the responses you will get.

Cheers.

Hello all, I need urgent help (suggestion). I'm done with my school September this year and I applied for my son's visa the last week of September.

It's been closed to one month and no decision was made on the application, I did a paid inquiry and I notice additional document (TB test) is required. Initially, I didn't submit a TB test, thinking my visa is not up to 6months and TB test need 6months and above visa requirement.

Trying to booked a TB test from the center is requesting for his port, and his port is already submitted.

How can I go about it?

Urgent! Urgent! Urgent!

Could anyone help me with a link or information on how to reschedule my port renewal appointment? My port expires next week, and I urgently need to renew it due to an event. The earliest date I found and booked on the NIS website is March 5, 2025, which is far too late for my needs. If anyone knows how I can secure an earlier date, I would greatly appreciate it.

Story not very clear.
Where is your son?
Is this a visitor visa you applied for?

my son is in Nigeria and this is a dependent visa.

His port has already be submitted for visa... but VO is requesting for his TB test which we did not do, because I felt is visa will be less than 6 months which do not require TB test - My visa we expire January 30th

IOM is requesting for his port before his TB test can be done. Currently his is unavailable.

Loook ! Look what I found!

This is from the OBR September 2024.
If all of us pack and go,the UK will shut up shop and close market. We produce so much more than we are given.

I don't want to hear "pim " in this thread again.

Kode please how did you get for £17 as I am being quoted for £25/month.
Also, can I get a SIM deal with the broadband?

Hi. It's been a couple of years so I can't quite how I got it that cheap, but I was a new customer and called them rather than doing it online. Yes, you can get a broadband deal with it as well. You'll get an O2 sim which comes out slightly cheaper overall but I stuck to mine from before.

It puts to rest the narrative that high migration is responsible for low wages.

Thoughts on the budget?
What do you like?
What don't you like?

I like no increases in NI ,income tax and VAT.
I like no increase in fuel duty
I like the NHS allocation
I like the Justice and education allocation.
I like the bus fare cap
I like abolishing non dom
I like 50% private jet duty increase.

I m sure I ll find something to hate but not yet.
This does feel very much like what I voted for. All that shoe leather finally paid off

ā€œNo. We did not increase the cost of transportation from Owerri to Orlu. We promised that we will never increase the cost of transportation for ENGERS.ā€

ā€œWhat we actually did (and y’all must applaud us) is that we increased the cost of Petrol for BUS DRIVERS. Only the DRIVERS will buy petrol at an increased cost. The ENGERS should not worry as we did not increase transport fareā€.

I carefully listened to the OBR take on the budget today. The OBR specifically analysed that the National Insurance increase for Employers will (in the real sense of it) translate to 3/4 of the burden by employees and 1/4 of the burden by employers themselves.

That 40bn has to come from somewhere.
We keep going to the same places when we need money, trying to suffocate the poor.

Labour has just chosen to squeeze the other side of the lemon this time. This will play very well on the doorsteps as that's what people voted for.

This is a great article on how to maximise your portfolio into a more tax efficient lean mean machine. I recommend this to everyone.
NOW is the time to get an iSA and personal pension. Labour hasn't touched the CGT on those.

Exactly. Let me tell you it's a huge sigh of relief on the streets.

Very good budget. Not perfect (what is?) but solid nonetheless, especially given that the OBR effectively said the con-servatives misled them on the state of the finances before they were booted out.

Those determined to moan about anything Labour does will moan but it's clear that it's a huge improvement and puts the country on a much better path.

This is a very interesting article. Excerpt below:

'The Spanish prime minister, Pedro SĆ”nchez, recently read in parliament a newspaper article from Venezuela about a battered boat that had just arrived on the coast of the South American country with 106 migrants onboard. ā€œThe undocumented migrants arrested, among them 10 women and a four-year-old girl, were in terrible condition. The 19-metre boat’s hold emitted an insufferable odour,ā€ he quoted the article as saying.

ā€œThis news story could have been published last week, and the migrants could have been Nigerian, Senegalese or Moroccan,ā€ said SĆ”nchez. ā€œIn reality, it appeared in a Venezuelan daily on 25 May 1949, and its protagonists were Spaniards, 106 of the 120,000 who crossed [the Atlantic] between 1945 and 1978 to escape misery and Franco’s dictatorship.'

Should be food for thought for those who seem to think that migration (legal and 'illegal') started with Africans seeking a better life, or that it is somehow shameful to be an economic migrant (it always amuses me when people use this as a diss).

Even the ones in America that are shouting that we know they where they are from originally abeg which documentation did they use to call America home? When you bring that topic up they get offended cos as afar they are concerned only them are entitled to make the rules. The world has really been a jungle.

Interesting article there!
