Do lands count? This is just a question
Canada won't care of your land, improve your credibility and strong immigration history, start with schegen area states.,visit any of the countries and return, this is only related to you.

Please what are some quick and easy ways to prove home ties?
Hi DTruth10,

You can prove your ties to Nigeria with any of the following:

Family and Social Documents
1. Birth certificate
2. Marriage certificate (if married)
3. Kids' birth certificates (if you're a parent)
4. Evidence showing your family is in Nigeria
5. Documents reflecting community involvement or hips
6. Proof of cultural or religious connections (christian, muslim, and traditional titles)

Work, Business, and Financial Means
1. Letter from your workplace (if you're an employee)
2. Proof of business ownership or registration (if you're self-employed)
3. Pay slip or tax records
4. Bank statements evincing your transactions and balances to demonstrate your financial establishment in Nigeria

Properties and Real Estate
1. Property deeds or ownership documents
2. Proof of investments or assets in Nigeria
3. Study Goals and Career Plans
4. An SOP explaining how your proposed Canadian education coincides with your career aspirations in Nigeria

Please note that while not all documents listed above are required, submitting a significant portion of them can strengthen your application and improve your chances of approval.

Wishing you good luck.

How much did you pay. I thought the $85 should cover the transmission according to what I read online, I saw this in VFS website, ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ‘‰
> If no package is transmitted at the time of biometric enrolment (when the application has been submitted online), the initial package transmission is included in the fee of CAD $85 for biometric enrolment and package transmission.

If you need to provide your biometrics, the biometric fee of C$ 85.00 (per person) / C$ 170.00 (for a family of 2 or more) / C$ 255.00 (for a group of performing artists of 3 or more) covers the Visa Application Centre service charge for package transmission, with the exception
Muslimity:

Thanks for the clarity.
Yes, I paid for VFS for the port transmission to IRCC and I equally paid for VFS to courier the port to my house after stamping. I included these payment receipts in the package I asked DHL to handover to VFS. So, as rightly advised, I will wait for VFS to send me an acknowledgement or a confirmation that my port has been received by them and the next actions to be taken. I was worry because I expected VFS to acknowledge my payment for the port transmission immediately I made the payment last Thursday.
Thanks again for your .

Iโ€™m currently completing my study permit application.
I have extensive travel history from childhood. I included all my port data pages and visa pages. Do I have to include scans of all my PoE stamps gotten while traveling?
The port document size is already 2MB on the dot.
Any advise helps. Especially from any who has gotten PPR

taking loan to go study a diploma course is a bad idea. No guarantees for jobs or pr after expiry of one year post graduate visa ( they are even trying to ties pgwp to indemand occupations only). You are better off going to learn learn and try express entry.

Good Evening House, my wife and son submitted their port for stamping on the 28th August 2024, by 30th we got a mail that the port with the tracking number belonging to my wife is ready for pickup, while my son tracking number is still showing that, it is under processing at IRCC office. my wife already collected her port, ticket has been booked and since then no updated on my son's port.
please i need advice on what to do.
MarksmanD: 8:17pm On Sep 03, 2024
2 working days is such a short time to be worried. It take 2-3 weeks to get a stamped port. Please be patient.

It is typically unnecessary to submit scans of all of your PoE (Port of Entry) stamps with your study permit application, especially when you have already supplied all port data sheets and visa pages. Prioritize recent and relevant travel. focus on the last five years of your travel history. Include only the entry and exit stamps for relevant countries like the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, , and other EU nations. If possible, combine relevant entry and exit stamps into a single document to save space.

Good morning gurus in the house.

Please, I need help to confirm if 40 million naira is enough for proof of fund for undergraduate studies after payment of school fees?

Secondly, is it okay to make payment for school fees from the US for someone in Nigeria?

Thank you

That was fast! Lucky you. I pray for my miracle too.

Thanks for your submission. I am waiting for my study visa decision.

Btw, with the right connection like you and mentorship from our tech guys that are in Canada, do you think it's still okay to come to canada(Ottawa) to pursue Diploma in Business Analysis as a Data analyst? I have skills in Excel, SQL, Power Bi, Tableau and a bit of python.
Bobomaigida:
For those planning to move to Canada, itโ€™s essential to thoroughly PLAN your journey in advance. This includes selecting the right course, choosing the appropriate province, and understanding the PR pathways available. Always conduct thorough research and seek advice. As a student, you will be a temporary resident, so itโ€™s crucial to have a clear exit strategy for transitioning to permanent residency and start taking steps toward that goal.

Unfortunately, conditions in our home country are not improving and are becoming increasingly challenging and costly. If you have the opportunity to leave, do so with careful planning. However, not everyone can afford to move abroad due to the rising costs and economic difficulties at home. If Canada is too expensive, consider other options, but ensure you are well-informed and prepared.

I wish everyone the best in their endeavors.

I am so sorry about this? Have you been applying for all these visas from abroad or in Nigeria? Second question is that, have you been applying for all these visas on your own or through agent(s)?

Let's see what your GCMS note will say. Just don't give up! Good luck to us all.

Good morning my fellow Nairalanders, please I need clarification, I submitted on 26th of June and did my upfront medical on 3rd of July and they notified me that my medical report has been sent successfully on 4th of July however, on the 12th of August, they requested for medical report as you can see from the image attached to this, now my questions are,
Did they not receive my medical report?
Secondly, if they did, why are they requesting for medical report
Also, I have informed them through webform that I did upfront medical but it's almost a month now still no update. Thanks

Doing courses like this that feed in demand professions is very good, what you have to bear in mind is to know your exit options from study to permanent residence.
