Gtbank receipt, DS160 confirmation page, 2 port size photos and ordinary port ( i took my expired port as well because it had the expired visa in it). The security men at the embassy will only look at the documents and collect your port + port size photo. port was returned in 7 days

I applied for UK visit visa October 2021. I received an email Nov. A refusal letter on the 25th of November. So I just went to collect my port. I didn't even check after getting the email. I collected the port myself at vfs global Abuja.

Fast forward, I was just going through my port today and I saw a stamped multiple entry clearance valid from 23 November 2021 to 23 may 2022. How is this even possible? The same shirt I used in capturing was in my port.

How can they issue visa on my port and send me a rejection email. Has anyone ever experienced this.

NB: I have been to the uk before. Did my masters. Left before my visa expired. That was January 2021

Firstly, for people with specific plans of travel on the DS160, is the arrival and departure city the first and last city you get to before leaving the US or your destination city. If you have GT internet banking, and print it yourself.

I will suggest you call/mail the embassy to be if it was a system glitch. Because the process of approval & putting the visa stamp no be here. Maybe it was a miscommunication so kindly from them embassy

What is the issue exactly?
You have a visa on your port and you're asking what to do with it?
Never mind the email, if you have a visa, then you have what you applied for so that should be fine. No?

Hers does not match and the system gave us this confirmation number itself. will this cause them not to collect her port?

Your question isn’t clear to me. At the point of creating her profile on the interview appointment portal, you must’ve entered her DS 160 confirmation number. That number won’t change unless you are scheduling a new appointment before you can edit it.
What do you mean by the appointment confirmation number? Can you share a screenshot (blur out some details) so we know what you are referring to?

I don't think we need to see her visa as evidence.
She only needs to send an email to the embassy to the validity of the visa, quoting the visa number. She will get a on the validity.
Even airlines visa validity.

Well, she came here for our opinion...and it's only logical for me to be sure of what i'm talking about.

I agree with your suggestion on ing the High Commission/UK Visa office either via phone call or the paid email service.
