I applied for port renewal at Festac and picked it up today (strictly DIY). Submitted my documents and captured 1st July. Just walked in today and it was ready as of 28th July.
So Festac people 4 weeks after capturing, just go and check if your port is ready, don't wait for sms.

Ikoyi is sadly not DIY friendly

Most of you who haven't collected your port or not sure if it is ready yet, it is better to check your name on the list of uncollected ports on the Immigration website.

Omo I'm regretting going to this Ikoyi command.
Captured on June 16th through an agent.
This is already the 7th week, went there today cos the agent actually traveled to the north 4 Sallah so he said I should go and check 4 the port since I'm in urgent need of it and can't wait 4 him to be back.
Went there today and they returned my slip with letter E written on it dat I should call my agent. Like I'm pissed right now. Asked the officer to explain what the E means cos the ones I've seen had AA written on theirs and he's sounding unfriendly dat I should go.

Those that did their port renewal on May, at Ibadan, how far? Have they started releasing such ports? Mine, since may 7, my agent is telling me it's not yet ready. And I need it urgently for visa processing in d next one week. Pls, what can I do?

I submitted as far back as 16th of July, didn't receive message, so I decided to go there yesterday, they have abandoned my file somewhere, I sha captured, now October 1st

Where and when did you capture? Is it through DIY or agent? I am yet to get mine since 29th April. NIS Headquarters, Abuja

I captured on July 2nd at Abeokuta. DiY

April 29th? That is more than 3 months??¡!!!!!! And you captured at the NIS HQ? Why is it taking so long?

He paid 15k through Remita for NIN DOB correction but since last year November the corrected DOB is yet to drop on Immigration portal. Please what can be done to make the DOB drop on immigration portal?

N.B He used same NIN slip to open bank in April and the corrected DOB reflected at the bank

Pls has it been rectified? I corrected mine since November the DOB hasn't changed

just calculate 6 weeks from ur date of capture and check back...ignore that date on the slip and don't wait for a text
