Hello guys,
I need a new port for fresh application and its very urgent. I stay in lagos. I have been told to travel to Abeokuta or Oshogbo to get it that it is difficult and takes time to get it in lagos. Kindly advise me. If you have a connect that can assist pls let me know. I need it by the end of August. Is it possible?

Ikoyi port office is not slow but they are busy producing for their connects. I left Ikoyi 6:45pm yesterday and i saw files of this week entering production room. So by 10th of August It will be 2months you have captured. Rotten system , SMH.
My husband finally got his port yesterday, he applied last year August but NIN DOB correction didn’t drop early and his file was later missing, payment also expired in the process. The most stressful journey of our life.

I submitted my document for renewal since five weeks ago at Alausa port office and was told to wait for sms to come back for capturing (diy).
I did change of name due to marriage.
Up till now, i havent gotten any sms. Does it take this long?

I don't think so...mine took 2 weeks...fresh though

Ikoyi port Office is the worst immigration command I have seen. I started this process on time for renewal with hope that port will be out before it’s needed. I have exceeded 6 weeks for a port renewal that should take 3 weeks yet not out and no information of when it will be ready. Yet, in same command people are collecting (those with strong connect). This is the reason why things cannot get better in this country. Is it possible to request for renewal from another command even with one awaiting production?
Where can one go and complain about this Ikoyi command please? I am already behind schedule.

What about Warri office, are they more DIY friendly than Benin office?

I captured second week of june and should have received an SMS by now but I haven't.

when u go for capturing, before the capturing stage they will show you your information on the computer... pls bring this up then firmly that you will like to change it

the port has been collected already

Warri will be better for u compared to Benin..

Hello everyone, my son did his capturing at Ikoyi command on the 14th of June but up till now, no response from their end. The agent keep saying the file is at affix and approve department, and we really need this port for our Visa application. Hubby and I intend going there tomorrow, is it a good idea? And who can will make enquiry about the application from at the center? Because it’s obvious the agent doesn’t know what he is doing. Please I will appreciate any suggestions.

I went there on some days back last week and I was told those that did for June is still under production....I captured on the 10th of June....hoping to go back in two weeks time which would be second week of August....please if you still decide to go please do update us here about your findings

I did my capturing in owerri on 25 June I never get my own port sef.
