elfmann: Thanks Boss. I actually faxed my statement of result to WES but they are still requesting more required document. They wrote "NOT RECEIVED" in front of certificate and ACCEPTED in front of academic transcripts. Now evaluation is on hold, awaiting documents status. |

You can call their customer care. Though you will need to be very patient because it could take you like 40mins and that's expensive too. I got them via phone call.

Greetings to everyone. A brother made a mistake while filling his DS-160. He mistakenly picked "NO" where he was asked about whether he has attended any institution. Whereas, He graduated with a B.Tech. in Electrical Electronics Engineering from LAUTECH. what can he do? can he pay for another application to fill another DS-,160? Your response would be highly appreciated. Thanks

Good day @Abujaniv. Please, i have an existing B1/B2 Visa but i am considering applying for my masters in the US next spring, which implies that i have to apply for a F-1 visa. My question is: will the outcome of my F-1 visa application affect the validity of my existing B1/B2 visa? Thanks.

Hi everyone. I have been a silent follower here for few weeks now. Myself and DW got our visas approved mid-October for a vacation in the US later this month, but we discovered DW was few weeks pregnant by mid-November and will be due by late July 2017. So we are planning she give birth in the US. Although We'll be back from vacation in January but my question is, can she send a "letter of change of intent" to the US embassy by the time she wants to go for childbirth?. Thanks.

Hi Good People I want to book my wife's ticket. Initially we were supposed to spend two weeks in the US. But my wife would like to stay two weeks longer to attend a friend's wedding and we intend to book restricted tickets. My question is, would there be any problem at the POE in case they check our tickets and discover she is staying longer? Thanks. |

kutestic2: Flights to Baltimore are expensive, and it also depends on your intended travel date. I had to book mine to Dulles Airport. I heard it is like 70mins drive to BWI. You can try Travelstart.com.ng 1 Like |

I'm sorry and this is not to be rude or something. I read someone's transcript in this forum how he was denied because his company was going to sponsor his private trip. Anthocracy: |

Hi Good People, I was denied a B1/B2 Visa last year January in Lagos. My wife have also been denied 4yrs ago. I was given a 214(b) letter, and then i was single. It was to be a pleasure visit so, i didn't go with an Invitation Letter. I got married mid this year and my elder brother who has a US citizenship status came for my wedding but couldn't come with his family. He wanted us (myself and my wife) to visit him and his family in the USA for Christmas this year so, his wife and kids could meet my wife during our annual leave and Christmas break(2weeks). We have an invitation letter from him. We have applied for a B1/B2 Visa and we are having our interview in Lagos next week. I changed job same January last year. Was working with a private firm with a good salary but the job was not pensionable and salary was always unstable. I got a job with a state government institution and my wife works in a federal government University. Plus i do some private jobs to increase my income streams. I am being owed months of salary by the institution due to the recession in the country. But i make money from my private business which i think is sufficient to take care of our trip. |
