Except the system can be taking load and still be charging at 500watts
except you output is less than 500 watt before your battery can charge

My thought exactly.

Delta 2 is 1000watts, let’s say it’s at 0% and starts charging by 11am at Sun Peak (500watts/hour) with a load of 260watts(1 TVset, Two Fans, 1 bulb), the PowerStation should get only 240watts/hour.
(Except this isn’t how it works)

In 4hours, the system should be full and ready for night backup.

At night, let’s say from 7pm, u connect 4bulbs(60watts) and two fans(120watts) totalling (180watts), in abh 6hours ur backup should be exhausted.
and he also mentioned AC when the weather is very hot. No matter how hot the weather is, the input can not exceed 500watt. So how is it possible to get your battery charge that way?

You are missing the point,
The sun does all the job,
My battery continues to charge as long as the sun is up,
So by the time the sun goes down,I am mostly on full charge.
how will sun do all the job? Total solar input for delta 2 is 500watt, Ac alone will take minimum of 700watt. How will 500 watt input take over that output??

Yes a single delta 2 powers it,

Runs my large screen tv,home theatre, fridge, freezer, all fans(ceiling and standing),and on some crazy hot days,my AC too
I use a 585w jinko .
With just 1kwh 😳😳, that's huge

You can fabricate a solar rack stand to accommodate your ,also talk to your landlord to confirm if he would allow you install.
Solars are meant to be installed on roofs,
Not sure homes are built without roofs
solar is not an option in my current apartment. I appreciate your suggestions though 👍

I am happy to announce to you, even if you use a delta 2 max,you would have the same issue.

Power stations even though they are made to work like a bigger capacity power bank, are not totally meant to work like one that would depend on only grid charging.

Get your self a proper jinko required for your delta 2,

My delta 2 powers my whole apartment 24 hours and I have enough juice to last me tru the night.

Simply because I run heaviest appliances during peak period when sun is blazing and reduce my usage at night.

Even tubular batteries without solar would be very ineffective.

Rather than get a cola, use that money invest in a proper jinko and a delta 2 extra battery,
That's doubles your delta power to 2048kwh.

580w - 620w and enjoy your delta 2.
Everyone knows how useful solar s are for charging batteries without relying on the grid. The real challenge isn’t getting the s, but finding a space to install it. This is the main issue in a rented apartment.

If not for space, I would have done proper solar set up instead of buying a power station. For now I still rely on grid to charge

I’ve been using the Hithium Hero EE1 for abh two months. It’s been particularly useful although I haven’t connected it to the changeover to carry the lighting and ceiling fans in the apartment. I haven’t also bought solar s.

I only connect an extension to carry a 58” TV, 125watts and a 60watts standing fan (I use it at lowest speed) which might not be up to 60watts.

With load of abh 185watts, the Power station still manages to give me 3hours on each bar. Totalling more than 10hours to drain.

Can any solar engineer help me connect it to run the house fixing the solar ?
4 bulbs
Two fans
1 TV
That sounds pretty good. I currently have the Delta 2 (1kWh), but it doesn’t last very long for my needs. I haven’t connected it to solar for charging yet. I’ve been considering selling it to get the Delta 2 Max instead. However, after reading your review, I’m now thinking it might be better to just get the ColaSolar 2000 (2kWh) as a backup for when my Delta 2 runs out. My only concern is that their power stations are so cheap—I just hope they’re not using low-quality materials that might fail within a year.

If you read through this thread, especially my posts from December, you will see my setup. Let me reiterate, yes you can use the one for generator to power the entire house. That is what I use too. The power station is also a generator of some kind. Now, about forgetting to unplug, yes, it has happened to me twice. I didn't off the socket it was plugged in to charge via NEPA, and when I ON it to power the house, the light came on and then blink like something that wanted to die...I was like what's going on, immediately I saw that it was the socket I didn't turn off. So I switched it off and the power stayed on. Not good so as not to spoil the device. That's it. Click the quote below to see the pictures of what I wrote then:

This is exactly what I was asking about. No matter how careful one is, the accident is bound to happen someday. I thought that if that happened, it would instantly damage the inverter.

It's good to know that nothing happened to your EcoFlow when it happened to you. I also think having a separate socket that only works with the grid to charge the device is a good idea to prevent such accidents. Thank you for your reply👍

I think I understand what you meant. It will blink like something that wants to faint...and not good...which means it can spoil it if you are not careful.

I think what you are trying to say is if you are charging the Ecoflow via solar, and you forgot to remove the AC charger from the socket, and when you put it on to power the house, it is expected for the Ecoflow to charge itself from the power it provides, right? No, it will almost switch itself off and be blinking like that, like a transformer wey get issue.

I hope I am right in your question.
You almost got what I was asking. I plan to buy the Delta 2 before the end of the month to take advantage of the Jumia Tech Week promo. However, I won’t be able to use solar s with it because there's no space for them where I live. So, my plan is to use the grid to charge it whenever there is power.

The reason I asked this question is that I don't want to waste money hiring an electrician to install another changeover switch for the power station. Instead, I want to use the one for my generator to power the entire house. That way, once I switch over to the power station, all the sockets and lights in the house will automatically be powered by it.

My concern is whether forgetting to unplug the charger before switching over would harm the power station. I believe that could create a power loop and cause damage.

What I’m now considering is installing a separate socket that only works with the grid to avoid this mistake. However, that would still require an electrician, which I was trying to avoid.

This is for those using solar to charge it.
Oh great, it mean it can not be charge with electricity while in used?? Am I correct?

By simply means you can use the device while charging. Several other products do not -through current.
please I am confused about something, since you can use it while charging, what will happen to your power station when you forget to remove the charger from socket when the power station is currently in use? I.e the power station supply the electricity to the socket that is charging the ecoflow. Will it spoil it immediately??

"CBN further clarified that Nigerians withdrawing less than N20,000 from another bank’s ATM will still be charged N100 per transaction."

So, unless you're a Ghanaian, you will pay that N100 for 5k. Or 1k.
ok, best thing now is to locate your bank and withdraw

Time for banks to cashout. Some no go allow you collect 5k at once, so if I'm withdrawing 20,000 with ATM machine that only dispense 5k, I will be paying 400# charges. Na wa oo, make una kuku kill us na. See as these people dey unveil shege banza one after the other and no one is talking about it. No action, whatever they throw at us, we accept. It is well sha
it was stated that 100 naira for every 20k withdrawal and 100 naira on any amount after the 20k withdrawal. I guess you won't be charged for 5k until your withdrawal enter 20k

Train your children well, and peace would be permanent in your life.

As a father, you need to create that fear in your children, and none of them will ever misbehave to you.Get a very nice cane for them; when they misbehave, flog the hell out of them. not every time you pampered your children like foreigners.

If you failed to train your children, this might be the result later. RIP

relative of politicians don't even need to wait till when application is announced before getting the job.

There is vacancy everywhere everyday, you only need the right person to get there. Even becoming a minister right now is possible, the office would be created within a twinkle of an eye
