chrisdking1:except you output is less than 500 watt before your battery can charge |

chrisdking1:and he also mentioned AC when the weather is very hot. No matter how hot the weather is, the input can not exceed 500watt. So how is it possible to get your battery charge that way? |

noobody:how will sun do all the job? Total solar input for delta 2 is 500watt, Ac alone will take minimum of 700watt. How will 500 watt input take over that output?? 2 Likes |

noobody:solar is not an option in my current apartment. I appreciate your suggestions though 👍 1 Like |

noobody:Everyone knows how useful solar s are for charging batteries without relying on the grid. The real challenge isn’t getting the s, but finding a space to install it. This is the main issue in a rented apartment. If not for space, I would have done proper solar set up instead of buying a power station. For now I still rely on grid to charge 1 Like |

chrisdking1:That sounds pretty good. I currently have the Delta 2 (1kWh), but it doesn’t last very long for my needs. I haven’t connected it to solar for charging yet. I’ve been considering selling it to get the Delta 2 Max instead. However, after reading your review, I’m now thinking it might be better to just get the ColaSolar 2000 (2kWh) as a backup for when my Delta 2 runs out. My only concern is that their power stations are so cheap—I just hope they’re not using low-quality materials that might fail within a year. |

twosquare:This is exactly what I was asking about. No matter how careful one is, the accident is bound to happen someday. I thought that if that happened, it would instantly damage the inverter. It's good to know that nothing happened to your EcoFlow when it happened to you. I also think having a separate socket that only works with the grid to charge the device is a good idea to prevent such accidents. Thank you for your reply👍 1 Like |

twosquare:You almost got what I was asking. I plan to buy the Delta 2 before the end of the month to take advantage of the Jumia Tech Week promo. However, I won’t be able to use solar s with it because there's no space for them where I live. So, my plan is to use the grid to charge it whenever there is power. The reason I asked this question is that I don't want to waste money hiring an electrician to install another changeover switch for the power station. Instead, I want to use the one for my generator to power the entire house. That way, once I switch over to the power station, all the sockets and lights in the house will automatically be powered by it. My concern is whether forgetting to unplug the charger before switching over would harm the power station. I believe that could create a power loop and cause damage. What I’m now considering is installing a separate socket that only works with the grid to avoid this mistake. However, that would still require an electrician, which I was trying to avoid. |

Emoreni:Oh great, it mean it can not be charge with electricity while in used?? Am I correct? |

Hydronium:please I am confused about something, since you can use it while charging, what will happen to your power station when you forget to remove the charger from socket when the power station is currently in use? I.e the power station supply the electricity to the socket that is charging the ecoflow. Will it spoil it immediately?? |

Train your children well, and peace would be permanent in your life. As a father, you need to create that fear in your children, and none of them will ever misbehave to you.Get a very nice cane for them; when they misbehave, flog the hell out of them. not every time you pampered your children like foreigners. If you failed to train your children, this might be the result later. RIP 5 Likes 1 Share |
