This steamdeck, I'll get one. All the emulator and gaming console in one. Someone installed emudeck and showed me all the emulators. That steam deck is a beast.

I have emudeck too and I have games from nds upto wii u on it. Steam deck is a game changer to portable gaming pc’s.

Just bought fifa 22 on pc. I don't like it cause it's similar to ps4 and xbox one version not ps5 or X. I hope EA make an update to apply the bells and whistles of current gen consoles to pc. PC can handle the graphical changes for God's sake.

The real Question - where and how are the emulators?

So far, have been able to try pcsx2, PSP, dolphin, rs3 (PS3), citra (3ds) and they all work fine with it. With PS3 emulator tho, it depends on how heavy the game is but so far it's been great especially for PS2 and dolphin.

I haven't gotten any problem with heat management. It just got a steam is 3.2 update yesterday that made it much more silent and less heating than before.

What's your general overview impression of the Steamdeck?

My impression of it has been very good so far. For it’s price tag it’s the most powerful handheld console at the moment with power equivalent to an Xbox one or ps4 (base models).

It even run some games better than ps4 atimes with more graphical settings options considering it’s a PC. Just an example, my ps4 could only manage to do 1080p/30 fps on gta 5 and red dead redemption while the same game on the steam deck plays at 50fps+ but you also have to keep in mind that the deck runs at a resolution of 800p, a lower one than the ps4 so it might be a little worser than ps4 at 1080p I don’t know.

But yeah bro, as I said earlier I couldn’t have been more happier with my purchase.

Man this game is one the most demanding assassins creed game till date. It runs poorly on all platforms, even on the most powerful pc‘s but I managed to run it at high settings 800p@ stable 30fps using Vulkan.

Modchip is expensive, I bought the modchip for 121usd from AliExpress. Then I took it to a skilled engineer to solder the chip to the Nintendo U.
V2 modchip is not that hard to install as long as you have stable hands and good with soldering.

The Oled is a bit complicated but nothing is impossible.
If you are okay paying that much for a modchip I will send you the store link on AliExpress.
If your card doesn't work the seller accepts crypto, I paid with crypto.

I think 121 USD is way better investment than buying expensive games from the Nintendo shop or buying game cartridge that is very hard to resell.

The money is definitely not a problem for me but the soldering is the hardest part. Soldering is very expensive here. I think I'll just stick to buying games then cause I still want online.
