I regretted asking him for the missing money till today.

I personally wouldn't have asked him.

I when I was new here, I was staying in a friend's house.

We both do the same work though his pay was almost twice as mine.

We used to return home mostly on Fridays, and once we arrived, we would drop certain amount in the wardrobe. Everybody knows the required amount.

The money was used for things done in the house that isn't personal. We would then hide our personal money elsewhere until Monday morning when would give it to our banker friend to deposit for us.

I wouldn't say it was hiding sef because we still knew where each person kept his.

He told me one day that a girl was coming and would the night. Someone he knew from way back was going somewhere and got stranded and asked if she could crash and continue in the morning.

She showed up minutes later with another guy. After greetings and all that, I went inside where I kept my money and took it, leaving just N1700 and some other changes there.

Day broke, they took their bathes and left. I checked the N1700 and it was gone, with all the changes. Checked the ones we tly kept in the wardrobe and nothing nothing was there too.

It was a Monday morning so we took our bathes and left the house for work.

Nobody talked about it till today. We just acted like it never happened. He was sad the whole day though and hissed when I told her that the girl is beautiful.

Anything person use settle quarrel nah apology. Whether nah sex, money, sorry or whatever.

African parents apologize with many things, pet names(Nnam, Nnem, Ezigbo nwa), buying you oversized clothes, allowing you to play with your mates, giving you more food etc.

I can't relate to this.

I come home around 7pm everyday. Before I go finish resting, taking my bath and eating, e go don be like 9pm then I will watch movies or read or browse and then crash.

My problem is that I have become too comfortable with my loneliness and that will be a problem some day.

Reasons for this is because the wife can address her siblings anyhow she wants, she can send them on errands either the mum, the younger or older siblings but you see those in laws, they see themselves as small god, you can't send them any errand, they will rather give you works to do and even complain that you are not respectful enough.

Let inlaws come and visit 3-5 days that's enough and go back to their house....As a wife you can ask your mum or siblings to go back when their trouble is much but you dear not tell your inlaws that, not even the ones you are older than.

Yorubas will say oro ni ana....inlaws are to be worshipped even more than your husband.

You do realize that your siblings are to your husband what his own are to you right?

You do realize that the siblings of yours who will come to your house and spend months without any issue will automatically become a problem once they visit your married brother?
