TheNoble007: Because some people might consider non-stem courses as a waste of time especially as an international student in the US. HR is a non-stem course, but it has decent career prospects to me. And I never get funding o. I keep in touch with the department in case any assistanship position is vacant so I can apply. |

Dreamsss: Talent acquisition and recruiting are not the only specializations in the Human Resources field. There is more to that than HR. There are HR compensation and benefits analyst roles, business partner roles, Hr generalist roles and even hr analyst roles involving HRIS. All these specializations are relatively recession proof than talent acquisition and specialists in diversity, equity and Inclusion. And every company there is always different human resources personnel with these roles, so I believe this field wont be severely affected by recession in the future. |

goldrush448: I have found that they would usually ask you to provide financial declaration as part of your application, but it is optional at that time. I have consulted with a graduate coordinator before, and she said it is usually only required when they offer need based financial aid. You can go ahead and submit your application without it, then once given ission, provide it for your I-20. 1 Like 1 Share |

Najdorf: I did not apply for WES. I only sent my official transcript to a school through DHL for #10,300. You can check through the WES website to see their exact price. |

Lovethchisom: I have not sent transcript to wes before, but I have sent a hard copy of my official transcript to a school using DHL. Their processing time is fast and mine delivered within 3 days (their average time is 5-7 days including weekdays and weekends) to the school. If you decide to use DHL, try to pay before you apply for transcript. I paid #10,300 to DHL. 1 Like 1 Share |

Homorb: 1) You dont really need materials. Just watch teacher Luke (DETready) youtube videos and make use of duolingo's free practice tests as much as you can. This helped me a lot and I scored 145 out of 160. As long as you are a native english speaker, you will be fine. 2) I paid through klasha. You can the app from playstore, get verified and open a visa dollar . Then, deposit ($1=751 naira presently) and pay. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

The cost of living is relatively cheaper in Niger state compared to Ogun, so you might prefer the former. Minna is a actually a good city to live in, still secure and hospitable. However, there are other local governments like kotangora of Niger state that lack security, so it is safe within Minna.

Our government is just a disappointment. Even if FG somehow makes vaccination mandatory, how will it protect Nigerians from the new omicron variant?
