Boss boss,that car wanted to ruin our relationship if not for your understanding as a dealer. Knowing that this car has engine fault from the US it came to Nigeria and it was scanned the only fault we saw was misfire and bad PCV valve, it was fixed and the fault disappeared and came back few days later according to you when a buyer came for the car. I can't really what we replaced and it was fine and it was delivered to your office. Few days later you called that on his way to deliver to a buyer the car started showing oil light,that was when the real fault came out,with my past experience on how TSI engine behaves I advised you replace or convert to fsi. If you had told me you will sell that car the amount u sold it,I won't hesitate to buy it. But then boss that shouldn't discouraged tho it was a terrible experience. Don't forget some people out there has terrible experience with Volvo but to you Volvo is the sweetest ride just the way I see VW as the best lol.

The one I imported once, clean title, within the few months it stayed before it was sold, I spent over 70% of the import value repairing one electrical gremlin or the other and the person you are recommending handled majority of the fixes

It's a cheap fix,buy 1 liter atf,buy 1 liter mobil,pour the atf inside the crankcase,pour the oil,half bottle I side,drive it for 3 days mildly,then drain all the oul complete,brush the oil drain hole with toothbrush.it will dislodge all sticky rings...if u decide to buy new engine,u will still have same problem.if u decide to ring it,kiss the engine goodbye...follow my steps. After draining every,use stp smoke additives or use chemtool imported,add new engine oil,new filter..and watch your engine perform beyond expectation .

Oga... Go and change the engine, and get peace of mind... That original owner that you called and the company you bought the car from are partners... Dont expect the man to say otherwise... Replace that engine... Whether mi or or major fix on it..
