"The Russian president’s decision to conduct a special military operation with the aim of protecting the population of Donbass and protecting the security of our country relied on the profound analysis of laws of history and an extremely precise and realistic vision of the world situation.
Russia was left with no other choice.
The slightest delay in taking action towards the outspokenly Russophobic, corrupt and oligarchic regime in Kiev would have brought about a great tragedy in the near future.
Our country is living through a truly historical moment.
Russia’s future and its future place in the world are at stake.
It should be ed that sovereignty has always been the chief factor for Russia’s development and the backbone of its thousand-year-long history.
Just as the right to decide its destiny on its own, freely and consciously.
Sovereignty is a safeguard of well-being and dignity of our citizens.
It is the future of our children.
Russia has never backtracked on such issues and it will never do so, because otherwise it will stop being Russia."

Will his resignation change anything or the resolve of majority of Russians?
Wait for the societal implosion in the western nations coming soon, when the cost of oil and gas goes beyond the roof.

Aren't there better ways to handle disagreement aside the use of violence?
Putin wants the world to think he's a tough guy, but he's just an over emotional and sensitive baby with a fragile ego.
Are you talking about Biden and Boris Johnson?

Trump is the most foolish man ever lived. Had he got the 2nd term ticket, he'd have attacked Russia. Maybe you and I would have been wiped off by now by Russia nuclear weapon. Who told you guys that Ukrain was Putin's target? His target was NATO, EU,US and her allies. He's been planning this for over a decade. For him to achieve his heinous plan, he must first stage a provocative war against Ukrain due to the latter's position, thinking NATO and EU would atrack him after which he'd unleash the nuke.
Unfortunately, Putin is kinda disappointed the way the west has reacted so far. He looks foolish. Did you see massive protest in Moscow today? Its gonna be worse in coming days. They're not in of the stupid move by Putin
"he looks foolish", and you write delusionally!

fleeing into exile for committing what crime? So a president should flee into exile from an invasion on his nation by a bully nation? So Ukraine doesn't av a right to determine her freedom and what she wants? Take dis from me, one day Ukraine will pay back this invasion.
No more Ukraine as a nation. The objective is for it now to be technically an autonomous region within Russia.

My friend listen. I grew up in the Niger Delta. I know what oil companies pay as royalties to these communities. Even if you like refer to it as peanuts yea, its peanut compare to what they make ( they are business people and investors not charity groups)
However this said peanuts if judiciously used would better the life of every body, emphasis on EVERY body in the community.
But you my friend can tell us what happens to the PEANUTS.
Let's see; The traditional ruling class and government officials hi Jack the PEANUTS for themselves . Buy houses, choice properties and cars. Marry more wives , have more concubines and mistresses.
Subsequently, the youths would rise up against the rulers and pick arms. They would be called militants, tried to subdued by the military and once this fails what happens?
The leaders of the militant groups are brought to the table and SETTLED. Agitation dies, fight for the community dies as well , the leaders of the militant groups and their lieutenants are automatically millionaires over night... courtesy of the PEANUTS.
YOU know what else dies?
The Growth and Development of the community(ies).
But somehow we blame the Whiteman for our stupidity, our disunity and foolishness.
If the west Actually pays PEANUTS how come the PEANUTS enrich our ruling class to the extent of acquiring properties in high brow locations in Western countries. Areas where the western leaders can only dream of.
Think bro.
I like your sincerity, but the reason for the underdevelopment goes beyond the corruption of the ruling and political class.
The system Of governance and the geographical expressions of most African state was particularly crafted for them to fail -Nigeria as a perfect example.
Many a times, economic, geopolitical and social decisions made by African leaders are made under Western nations blackmail.
They created systems that made some few rulers and local leaders to be "comfortable", while the people are subjected to generational slavery... "Your poverty is their prosperity".
They use their foreign intelligence agencies to initiate coups, topple governments, and sometimes, carry out direct military interventions to remove any African leader that decides to be "brave" and work against their economic system of exploitation...Gaddafi's Libya as an example.
So, you should understand that we are not trying to exonerate the those corrupt African rulers, but to point out that many atimes they are outfoxed and outmanoeuvred by these western "money magiikians".
They make sure your industries and energy infrastructure, which are the backbone of development, does not become fully operational, and eventually collapse.
Off course they can only achieve all these by given the "peanuts" to the selfish and corrupt political elites and local leaders, so as to allow the aberration to continue.

instead of blaming the stupid and selfish african leaders we have for under development, you want us to blame the west? In this day and age when countries are independent and should take their destinies in their hands, we should still blame the west right just because of religious differences. We have a useless leader there who is clueless, we have never had a leader intelligent enough to use the proceeds of our resources to take us to developmental levels that countries with much less resources have attained, but it must be the fault of America not our leaders.
You are shalllow and quite ignorant if you think people blame the Western nations due to religious differences.

Putin has gone bonkers for real.
Their latest ban is on countries that were formerly part of Soviet Union, just like Ukraine, but later ed NATO yet Russia has been coexisting in peace with them and doing business.
It's Ukraine that wanted to NATO but NATO didn't approve of that they invaded using that as an excuse.
Russia is just one bloody and troublesome country without little scruples.
