Consult a qualified town planner who's a highway specialist to explain better.

Do you know by merely making reviews and comments on Nairaland, you tend to improve your writing and narrative skills? Some people have made more money [by "wasting their time" online] than you can ever make from your productive offline time.
Some people make comments just to ensure that people see their signatures (adverts). That way, they save cost on traditional advertising.
Having said that, mobile s and those who fail to often are prone to high rates.
If you've not been making waves, s or returns from your posts, it's high time you changed your perception.

Sir,
what you mean that granite is crush Limestone?
Sir,
Granite is Igneous rock
Limestone is a sedimentary rock (due to deposition of sediment)
Metamorphosed Granite is Gneiss.
So for our chipping in Nigeria it either Granite or Gneiss they crush to different sizes. why we have more of Granite in the North, west and middle belt of Nigeria is due to the basement complex. The little granite you see in southern Nigeria are due to intrusions through fault and fractions in earth crust.
On the other hand the Limestone deposited is favor by deposition in marine environment.
Limestone metamorphose to marble (under very High temperature, pressure and other complex conditions)
Summary: Limestone Not Granite.
Right. Geography 101,Rocks and sediments sir, nice one !

How much of that $5,300 goes to:
Housing
Electricity
Transportation
Taxes
Grocery
Fuel
Insurance
You guys need to stop this unequal comparison.
Housing cheapest $650
Electricity $75
Tax. $675
Grocery. $350
Fuel. $500
Insurance. $150
Subtotal approx. $1800
Other unquantifiable monthly expenses put at $1500
How much will be left then you talk of savings , you just discover no basis for comparison unless you earn in dollars convert to Naira to spend in Nigeria , so my question is wont one I cure expenses before coming home or are you going to be living and eating in somebody house for free

My house in the village was built in 2015, that was when most building materials were very cheap. The following prices changed in the 3 year gap between when I built mine and now.
2015 vs 2018 building materials prices
1. Cement N1,750 - N2,600
2. 16mm rods N1,900 - N3400
3. 12mm rods N1,050 - N2,130
4. 8mm rods N650 - N1,050
5. 1x12x12 plank N670 - N900
6. Cost of transport and workmanship also increased marginally.
Due to the following prices, expect about a 50% increase in between the cost of building this house then and now.
Thank you.

Could this be an impending volcanic eruption?
Before a volcano erupts, there is normally an increase in earthquakes and tremors near and under the volcano. These are caused by magma (molten rock) pushing upward through the rock under the volcano.
The ground may crack open and allow steam to escape.
Gases such as carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide, a gas that smells like eggs gone bad, frequently are present and escape in seams along mountainous rocks.
Hot springs in the area around the volcano may appear or change in appearance and temperature.
It is really shocking that so-called "Environmental Analysts" couldn't decipher what is about to happen and "Health Experts" are advising residents in the area to take "2 tins of milk daily to prevent a health crisis.
So laughable!
Lalasticlala
Very plausible comments above, by all standards I will go with your explanation of the situation at hand,a thorough soil investigation needs to be carried out as all the signs point to impending volcanic eruption ot threats within that local in the nearest future

you guys should stop making this statement! how would you know this if you have not tried it before?
Please if you have tried it can you please do a cost benefit abnalysis of using lafarge mix as against the traditional decking ,I hunbly await your submission
FYI! Search for this thread and read through-Construction if fire station at yaba
architectB:
Good evening @EgunMogaji... Thanks for your comment. Concerning your question, i regret to say that the Ready mix does not save cost at all ooo; as a matter of fact, it is a lot more expensive than the manual method that most people are wont to use.
As at today, the cost of Ready mix (from Lafarge) is about 40k per cubic metre for grade 25 concrete while you can get the same mix (albeit not as pure as you might want it to be) for between 20 - 25k if done manually.
On large projects, Ready mix is advised but on this project (which is small), we were just trying to make a statement, being the first project we were getting from the institution.
Apart from cost issues, Ready mix is waaaaay better than manual in every regard... I mean you can spend 2 hours to cast a slab that will otherwise take you at least 10 hours...

It will be very expensive for the regular decking and one might have logistic challenges if your site is nit easily accessible to truck

House please I heard someone wrote here that you can get Lafarge company to come around and pour concrete on your decking instead of using the normal labour intensive method. Please does anybody have idea about this ? Is it truly cheaper to get Lafarge to come and pour the concrete for decking? Are there other alternatives? Can you help with estimate on how much materials will be required to deck a 100sqm floor?
Thanks in advance.

The VIN reports with the photos would give you a better idea about the true state of the vehicle.
As for the categories of vehicles that may be good purchases, that's a personal decision, however I'd stay away from flood titles, vehicles tagged Junk/Export Only/ Parts Only/Certificate of Destruction.
Some buyers prefer vehicles with no front, engine or chassis damage, some with no SRS damage, etc.
In my experience Hail damage is one of the more reliable damage categories to bid on.
Well,it still boils down to lottery game-game of luck and chances, from your last two narratives I believe we are all on the same page with other on this discourse but can see your only grouse with them is "Non disclosure" which seems not to be coming from majority of car dealers on this forum.
Well keep up the good job

If you did you would notice the fine print.
A vehicle can be severely damaged and overheating and smoking and still be tagged 'runs and drives'.
Okay , I believe my naivety resulted in my loss, but I would want you to know that even at source misrepresentations comes to play .
Aside from clean title cars ,which kind of title would be safe for one to buy and have rest of mind

1. Everyone is a Victim when it comes to Vehicle History. In my 10years experience I still fall victim once in a while. You have no idea the type of crime that go on in USA & Canada. Forget about Vehicle History now. I once bought a Nissan Pathfinder with Clear Title Accident Free which I thought was Brown Color, Vehicle got here and turned out to be White Color. The whole exterior was prime in brown to deceive buyer. In such a case who do I hold responsible?
2. You probably didn't get my point here. My Point was to let you know the extent of crime that goes on over there. Majority of which were unbelievable especially for those that believe so much in white people. Not all whites are white.
3. Washing a Vehicle Title is the easiest thing to do. I created a thread here in 2009 on a badly accidented 2007 Nissan Quest. It was repaired and the Title was washed and report became Clean. It's that simple to do provided it's repaired to Standard. Don't believe in all what you read online. You will understand better when you'v been there before. It's a felony crime but majority got away with it and we Nigerians fell Victim because we believe soo much in them
Your points are valid , a lot of deceit, fraud, misrepresentation also takes place in US,Canada when you buy cars fir shipment to Nigeria, I had a bitter experience in 2015 bought a Mazda CX-7 with a "run and drive" title ,car arrived in Nigeria smoking, engine overheating, minor frame damaged, all these flaws were nit disclosed ,after spending over N2.45 million as landing cost to put the car in order I spent over N450k, bought turbo charger N150k,timing chain and cam rod -75k other parts and oil and workmanship took up the balance .
So I would en all dealers despite these frauds or misrepresentation of vehicle title from the source of purchase should go extra miles to get he current status of vehicles and make it open to prospects as this will reduce mistrust , I will readily buy a vehicle that has an accidentEd title than one with a purported "clean title"

I am not ing artisans not giving accurate measurements oo....
Just that it is something that i noticed from some tilers, they come with tape & do measurement, but their results are always different from the actual calculation.
Okay ,the difference in results between the physical and the guesstimates is excess gains they make from the job.this is what Pisses me off most times I engage people to do anything for me, once I observe this trend I immediately discontinue further engagement with the person, had a similar example with somebody between a space of two months price shifted from N400,0000.00 to N1,100,000.00 this was a service that price can be verified from different service-providers.we are truly our own problems-"GREED AND CORRUPTION"

Which is more expensive btw stamped concrete & interlock tiles?
Most of these artisans don't take measurements, they most use eye guage & judge with past experience, but they just come with tape. Same apply to tilers for room, many dont measure.
I beg to differ on your position, as a professional you must be seing to be above board in your dealings based on the ethics of your profession
How can an artisan come to a site to give estimates without using his tape to do the physical measurement to ascertain the dimensions of the clients need .that to me is a red flag, you don't just estimate by just looking at the plot it's wrong ,that artisan is a thief and that the way most of them behave to scam naive people of thier hard earned cash

Peace and good health to you all. I don't know whether I should cry or laugh! I engaged a stamped concrete artisan to visit my site for measurement and then quote. Below is the quote he gave! Now, bear in mind the site is just over 1 plot (about 700sqm, with a building already on it, so the total area that needs stamped concrete is probably less than half of 700sqm). I am not sure which site this guy visited or where he studied mathematics. His quote shows a total area of 2,277.4 sqm, resulting in a cost of just over N8million to floor a compound of less than a plot (and not even polished stamped concrete, but the cheaper unpolished one)! Is this guy for real!
Quite appalling.this is the life of a typical Nigerian just imagine,GREED AND CORRUPTION has really eaten into this "stupid" artisans medulla .when spyder88 was dissecting the Nigerian society it's as if he was hit patriotic, we need to have a paradigm shift as a people, nation by purging ourselves of these vices .
What a disappointment. I wish I am the one he sent this quote to ,he will explain where he got 2000square metre plus from a land up that is about 700 square metres
