No I did not defer ission after I got visa , Yes one of the officer said that I should call on phone for extension upon expiration time .

I came into Canada today and Canadian immigration gave me 1 year 3 months study permit while my course is 1 year and 8 months approximately 2 years , when I queried one said that it can be extended that I will have to call IRCC. Hello my Good people , I have few questions:

1. Is it okay to file Sowp for my family within 1 month of my arrival in Canada

2.My wife is pregnant and I would want her to give birth here in Canada and later return back to Nigeria (Reasons she will return back to Nigeria is because the bills will be much on me as she won’t be working during her nursing period)maybe after nursing period in Nigeria she can return back to Canada with my kids .

3. Lastly can she be allowed to use SOWP for all these I mentioned above without any issue? Like using it to give birth and also going to back to Nigeria and returning to Canada again .

I will say I’m a third time applicant though first was a visiting visa around 2018 and I was denied based on financial status and assets.

Second application which is for study and that was when i got to know about Nairaland Travel section and I messaged @Anon123 and asked him to guide me through with my application . Then we submitted on 5th of April 2022 after two month, 8th June hot breakfast was served and we applied for gcms immediately and it came out around 29th of July :

Refusal reasons: unexplained lump sums and also the VO stated that the cooperate statement provided that I did not explain relationship b/w the employee/employer .

What we did different : I paid additional tuition of 9500$ with the previous deposit of 2000$ making it a total sum of 11500$ ,I also went to bank requested for a reference letter stating that am sole signatory to my cooperate and savings and also added few sales receipts /invoice of my business then we re-fired on 21st of August and PPR dropped on 10th of November.

Documents submitted

1. Letter of acceptance
2. Tuition receipt
3. Marriage certificate
4. Cac certificate
5. My wife’s cac certificate
6. 2 power of attorney of landed documents
7. Property valuation certificate
8. Tenancy agreements from my tenants
9. Sales receipt/invoice from my business

As regards the concerns of the VO if third-party funds will be available, Did you prove that you were the sole signatory to your corporate ?

How many months statement did you submit? Did you use MBS
Were lump sums explained (If any) ?
Maybe you could get to the root cause by answering these questions and reapply.

I only submitted 4 months statement of and few sales receipt , did not get a reference letter from bank stating that am sole signatory to the corporate
