Village people at work.

Does he want to say that he is not aware of Trump’s decision to deport illegal people and aliens from the USA? Does he want to say that he is not aware of the arrests and deportations going on all around the USA? Does he want to say that stealing should be his profession, even as a person without documents?

Now that he allowed his village people locate him, he must return to reside with them, never to return to the USA in his life. That lady looks very hard and will make sure the man is deported in chains.

No be go call am mad man remain?

Very wrong and selfish move. It was all about the survival of Ibori and Okowa. For Ibori, it was about his relationship with BAT. For Okowa it must be about the ongoing probe into the missing 1.3trillion from the of the state during his tenure. Sheriff was his candidate and would naturally follow him seeing that they had not issue.

Decamping to APC simply was like existing PDP ing with ex PDP to all become ex PDP . Most of those within APC in Delta state were PDP . The likes of Ogboru were never .

There is no value that APC will add to the state, looking at the performances of APC governors nationwide and at the federal level.

Okowa could not deliver his state at the last elections, even with his VP candidacy. In the Presidential election LP scored close to 342K votes while PDP scored 161K votes. APC scored 90K votes. To get Sheriff into office, they had to appeal to PDP ers who were aggrieved against Okowa himself and also to appeal to LP ers and of course the usual exchange of hands for all. Okowa’s senatorial zone was a battle ground with LP. Ned Nwoko managed to win against Kenneth Kanma of LP. The same Ned Nwoko lost his house of reps to LP, as the candidate of PDP, Elumelu, was roundly defeated by Ms. Okolie of LP. Delta Central and South was a mixture of parties as Ibori worked against PDP in the state. So Okowa’s claim to be a grassroots mobilizer was tested and failed at those elections. LP and Obidients are a force to reckon with in Delta politics presently.

Infact LP would have swept PDP out of power, starting from Agbor, his home town. LP showed who was in control of the state. Omo Agege and APC quickly changed their slogans to Obidiently this or that, just to get LP ers on their side, after the Presidential elections. Delta north and South were lost by little margins to APC, as LP was in the mix.

Now that Sheriff has decamped, he can now claim to be free from the challenge of Omo Agege in Delta central, as power should remain there until 2031,
going by the power sharing formula….and that is if Anioma state has not been carved out of Delta state before then. However Ned Nwoko now has the challenge of Okowa and must once again confront Nwaoboshi. If APC fails to take a decision early, expect Nwoko to return to PDP to fight for his seat, as rumours are flying around that Okowa wants to return to the Senate.

Going with PDP structure meant going with the political office holders and not the physical structures like offices and secretariats. Meetings must be held at the ward levels to brief office holders. Sharing formula would be agreed at the ward levels to accommodate both parties, yet there are core PDP who would not want to have anything to do with APC.

PDP must go to court to permanently sort out the issue of decamping . Going to court also will help all the parties and not PDP alone. We know that the courts will be slow and delayed until the next elections, but the issue must be resolved once and for all.

I believe that if LP puts its house in order, the combination of the decamped PDP and existing APC will be given a run for their money in the state. LP may win the next governorship election in Delta state.

Is annoying that someone die at 88
No children, no grand children, great grand children.... If his parents has done same what will happened??

He lived his life. He served humanity. He left the world better than he met it. He became the Pope. He lived a meaningful and impactful life.

Live your own life and make it meaningful and impactful. If you like, you can have one million children, grand children, and great grandchildren. That one concern you. His parents were not the pope, neither did anyone know them. Live your own life the way you understand.

Even from the analysis, ed by old interview granted by Barrister, Barrister only modified fuji not the creator.

Barrister did not modify Fuji. He created it. Barrister after seeing an ment for the famous Fuji mountain on a visit to Japan, called his music “Fuji”. It was a blend of different Yoruba musical styles.

Wasiu copied him, but only had it ed, as he mentioned to us. What he did was going ahead of the owner, to get the copy rights. If Barrister were alive today, he’d be close to 80. He started playing long ago in the 1960s.

We are fans of both of them, but the truth must be told from experience, that Barrister is the owner of Fuji.

Wasiu changed the playing style with Talazzo in 1985 and Barrister changed his own style with Fuji gabbage series one in 1988.

Alhaji has paid his dues, he is who he says he is, he has taken Fuji to the highest level possible, a very large number of people love Fuji today because of Kwam1, whether you see him as proud or wicked you can NEVER take away the fact that he is a strong force when it comes to Fuji music.

First Ayinde Barrister made us love Fuji.

Next it was Wasiu Ayinde. Like I stated earlier, Talazzo Fuji starting in 1985 took Fuji to another level. He made everyone love Fuji, irrespective of tribe or religion. He commanded many followers with his own brand of Fuji. He pushed Barrister to upgrade and Barrister gave us that danceable Fuji…..not the rough shadow boxing type dancing. With KWAM, Fuji was sweet, loveable, nice and easy.

He made the likes of Ayuba to improve, even though Ayuba was almost his contemporary. All those Pasuma, Osupa, etc, are left for the jagajaga people on Nairaland here.

KWAM introduced the saxophone and made Fuji sexy.

Abi e dey smoke igbo?

You lived with him. You watched him play. You listened to him. He mentored you and yet he did not teach you Fuji? Which kind story be that?

There were two masters who laid claim to the title of Fuji King. You received the title and claimed that it was Barrister who was honored. Why did you not insist that the said title must be given to Barrister, directly knowing that he was your master, instead of you?

You lived with him in one room and so tayyy, you built a house in Okota, just like Barrister who built a beautiful house in Okota, close to Okota round about. Unfortunately Barrister’s building in Okota caught fire sometime in 1995 and he packed to the house in Isolo where he lived until his demise. You still live in your Okota house o. No be copy you copy Barrister to live in Okota?

Oga, you only revolutionized Fuji music when you played Talazzo Fuji in 1985 abeg. Barrister moved up with Fuji gabbage to meet the needs of his own fans then. He was there long before you in the 70s.

Abeg Barrister is the progenitor of Fuji. Kollington followed him. The fights and abuses between Kollington and Barrister were not necessary, as they were both strong in their own rights then. Thankfully Pasuma settled the fight before Barrister ed on.

It is so sad that this daily killing by Fulani herdsmen has become an occupation. There are too many questions to ask:

1. How are they easily able to evade security and kill such large amounts of people on daily basis?

2. Are security agents are not complicit in it?

3. How do they easily get away after such crimes?

4. Why would government not insist on ranching for herdsmen instead grazing?

5. Why must the rest of the country suffer so much losses to a very small percentage of Fulanis?

6. Why must citizens of these communities not be permitted to arm themselves with guns for protection?

7. Why must Fulani herdsmen move away from areas where there are grasses, into people’s farms to feed their cows with cassava, yams and corn?

8. If herdsmen took advantage of Buhari’s Presidency, should they continue with this wickedness under Tinubu’s wickedness?

9. If Buba Marwa alone, as the governor, could get herdsmen off the streets of Lagos in 1996, how come they have been allowed to invade the whole nation since 2015 and no President has stopped them?

Can you imagine, they attacked in Plateau then running towards Kaduna. If they were not caught, maybe they would have run to Niger republic or Mali waiting to launch another attacks. That's their modus operandi. I am wondering the type of sand God used to create them because it is not normal for people to be this wicked.

-Kiss the truth!

A notable Nigerian leader has roots in Niger republic and you ed him for eight years. His regime was called the locust years. The other one in Kaduna was a Governor who financially settled the same people from Mali. Are you not aware anymore. If bandits run to Mali and Niger and are settled by those that you , what should we call you? Definitely that’s hypocrisy. It means that you are suffering and smiling.

Unfortunately, I am well grounded in politics, I have known the Mauritanian even before I knew his brother Datti who won via buhari tsunami in 2011 but was cut short by an appeal court. Him being a Mauritanian is another reason he lacks the Locus standi to speak on free and fair elections. Infact, the period between 2003-2007 witnessed the worst elections in Nigeria. Pdp people of that era should exclude themselves from political sanctity

There you go again oga. Where is the evidence that he is a Mauritanian? By the way, if he was a Mauritanian, why was he heavily involved in Nigerian elections? Again, we all hear and see daily, people of Nigerian descent, who contest and win elections all over the world. Has their Nigerianness reduced their citizenship of those countries? We law claim to then as our people, but when it is politically expedient, we claim that fellow Nigerians are no longer Nigerian. Presently the man handling the Calabar - Lagos highway is a Lebanese by his skin, but we all know that he is a Nigerian, as he is a citizen and holds a Nigerian port, even as he has retired to .

Which of the elections in Nigeria have we witnessed less rigging and vote buying. You ed Buhari, right? Have you forgotten how he famously stated that APC used remote control to get Oyetola into office, even as it was clear that APC was losing after the first counting? If a President could openly it such a disgraceful act, how were the periods between 2003/07 worse?

When you use the words “Buhari tsunami”, do you want to pretend about the child voters in the north, who contributed to your imaginary tsunami? Even with the disenchantment instigated by APC in 2014, how would PDP have lost, if not for widespread wayo in the north? The same PDP of the era that you quoted, include a man called Ibori, who has pulled Delta state into the APC fold, to your enjoyment. The same PDP of the era include Ganduje and the immediate past APC chairman. Or have you not put them into ? Have you asked them to exclude themselves?

It is easily replaceable since it is cost effective. It has to be hardwood and it is very thick. It should last couple of years

Then why not use concrete with handles, which are permanent and are not attractive to thieves? Why replace every two years, making government spend more in the long run? Must the same contract be awarded every two years? Why the wastage please?

It won't last. You can't compare wood to concrete when it comes to wear n tear

It is truly not only innovative, but also very reckless and irresponsible. This is the first time all my life that I heard of such. How would you expect to cover manholes with wood? What happens when it rains? What happens when insects begin to chew them, even with treatment of wood. What happens when vehicles, okadas and bicycles ride on them? Lagos government has set up death traps please. These are open spaces, prone to all horrible conditions. Citizens must be advised to be very careful, especially when it floods. Woods will simply cave in under pressure. If this is practice in the developed countries, we know our own country and how our people live their lives carelessly.

Why not use concrete with handles, which is even the best, safest and far less attractive to iron thieves? Whoever brought this horrible idea needs to be checked. Come to think of it, how much of the budget will it take?

One can now safely assume that Fubara has finally capitulated and will decamp to APC, as a condition for peace.

Moving ahead is a safe way by PDP to retain whatever structure Wike has not destroyed.

Is it not time to deal with the issue of decamping legislators once and for all? PDP must sort it out in court.

He, El Rufai, Tunde Bakare and Atiku should have thought about this when they ed hands with Tinubu to push PDP out of power in 2015. They did not give it a second thought when they labeled GEJ different horrible names. They did not make a single move to stop Wike when he pushed Peter Obi wand Umahi out of PDP. They all sat on their arses, claiming that the umbrella was big enough for all. That’s the same way Saraki took power away from himself when he disputed with his own father and handed over his state to the same APC.

How do you expect PDP to move forward when you have cowards who cannot look Wike and Fayose in their faces and effectively deal with them for working openly against their party? They say it is easy to give a monkey water in a cup, but how do you retrieve the cup afterwards? Now that you have effectively put Tinubu on the seat, how can you defeat him? We all heard Tinubu say “get me there”! Now he is there as he wanted. Again, how can the truthful PDP know who to trust? Even Saraki himself cannot be trusted. With all his words, how are people sure that he does not lobby behind with APC?

Nigerian politicians have never been known to have ideologies. They only go with the party in power, just to fill their stomachs. When Trump was defeated, he waited four years in his party and defeated the same man that defeated him earlier. If Tinubu is defeated at the next elections, you will find the likes of Ibori and Okowa telling PDP and Nigerians that they are back home and that APC was a mistake.

That said, it remains with the people. If Nigerians feel aggrieved, they should correctly use their PVCs at the next elections. Politicians and parties must earn their electoral victories by fixing our societies and not be rigging or vote buying.

The next election in Delta state will see an LP Governor if LP can address the internal issues and not PDP or APC.
