So why would the state government put up such show without a good security arrangement. People were called together to have fun, not to get hurt. The news of girls being sexually assaulted is disgusting to say the least. I hope they get it right nest time.

Please what was the attendance like?
attendees were freaking high man! Over 10 thousand people i guess

It was cool just that a lot of violence went on within the crowd. Had to leave my seat to avoid getting injured. Later relaxed at the fields, took a quick nap there. Went back into the audience to catch yemi, davido, pato, timaya and terry g live! Smoked weed, got fucking high, ate indomie and egg, suya, a cup of ice cream and a bottle of yoghurt. Left the audience when phyno got on stage and left the square when flavor as well got on stage to perform. Phyno sucked!

Is Mr. chris still a pastor? Thought he was a big fraud when he claimed God asked him to become the president of Nigeria? So Nigerians still believe in him. Oh well i have always known Nigerians to be sickenly gulible

I've come to realize that there's only one God and that every religion is flawed. Religion is just a person's ideology of trying to find and understanding the one true God. At the end all religion still works because God answers whoever comes in hope of finding him.

The headies award claims to be the most prestigous and important award in Nigeria but personally I think they aren't living up to what they claim to be. The whole award is a joke; people eating during the show, horrible/childish stage and zero credibility. What do you think?

Last week the internet was figuratively ablaze once the news of flavour's "Thankful" reportedly selling a million copies in 5 days hit the web. While giving my critique on this matter im gonna go straight to the point on why I think it's doubtely not possible... I noticed the blacklash Brymo got from flavour fans for critizing the issue of "Thankful" selling 1 million copies. while people deemed Brymo's act as being hateful I saw it as him coming off educating. Brymo as an experienced music artist was only trying to educate Nigerians on a fallacy like that. Straight to the point - in a country like Nigeria where free is endorsed even by musicians themselves; who give away their music for free online - And also country where piracy is just about the leading vehicle in distributing music to the final consumers makes it tough for the original copies to survive in lots of pirated copies. Why is this so? That's because when albums are released to the market, once the pirated copies of those albums as well hit the market the original copies are swallowed up by the pirated copies because the pirated copies tend to sell out faster and more because the price is normally cheaper than the originals and of course everyone would not just love to get anything at a steep amount. I read somepeople here write something like "Nigeria is a country of 150 million, selling 1 million copies in 5 days is possible", Oh really how about America a country of over 300 million where selling that kind of amount in a week is very difficult for almost all A-list music artists. Taylor swift's "1989" sold 1.2million in its first week according to Nielsen soundscan in a developed country of over 300 million where internet facilities is common in almost every home, flavour sold 1 million in an underdeveloped country where internet facilities is available just about 25% of the country population of 170 million. Why am I emphasizing on the ''internet facility''? Flavour pulled a Beyonce when he released his album; no hype, no promotion and no warning prior to the album release; even up just before now im writing this, I had no idea flavour even had an album out. When beyonce released "BEYONCE" the news about the release literally plastered at every tom, dick and harry of the internet of course such exposure for an album translates to sales. On the other hand, Flavor with no exposure like the afformentioned claimed to sell jaw dropping number of copies in a country where more than half of the populace don't even know nothing about the internet. So how did flavour sell 1 million when he did not have a massive online promo? People always remind us that Nigeria is 170 million yet they forget that more than half of the populace live in the rural areas where there is no internet and these people have to be aware of what's new in the market before they determine if they will be buying. Also they are forgeting the population of the young demographic (just about 60 million in the 18-49 demograhic) in Nigeria who are the music buyers and not necessarily the aged demographic. In summary nearly a half of the Nigerian populace is plagued by poverty and illitracy these two are determining factors to number of sales made by any music artist. And also Nigeria doesn't have a computer that tracks sales like the whites do.; Nigerian label executives and artists don't even know the number of copies they sell. In final summary Nigerians believe in illegal , a Nigerian would rather something for free than buying it. Among the literate Nigerians that have access to the internet im pretty sure about 97.9% ed the album for free while the remainder Nigerians who have no internet did not buy the album that first 5 days because they weren't aware it was out, cuz the only way to be aware is through the internet and even if they did buy, chances of them buying a pirated copy is very high. Even if flavor did sell a million copies, no one in this country including obaino is in a substantial position to say the album did sell a million because no one know can provide a substantial backing to prove that the album sold a million. While gullible Nigerians believe that flavor sold a milli, im proud to say i don't; until Nigeria begins tracking musical datas in a civilized form i won't believe whatever sales data they provide.

Nuzo1:
Jay z sold over 5 million copies of his last album even before it was released.
When it has reached the retailers. eg if you buy an album on itunes your purchase would be counted as one of the sales of the album

Now, the question is when does it count that album copies have been sold? When the wholesalers sells to retailers or when retailers sell to consumers?

If the later is the case, then Flavour and Obaino are first class attention seekers but if the former is the case...then Brymo's bad bellism has no part 2.

in this country it appears that Nigerians a lot of their stuffs for free online and of course ing of songs is not exempted. while music artists work so hard - release their stuffs online for sale, some dickface sits proudly behind his computer posting links on his blog to get people someone's work for free? like what the f?!! then you Nigerians that claim to be insanely religious go ahead to visit websites and blogs where they can get someone's hard work illegally. and yet don't feel perturbed bout what you doing... like don't you guys have some iota of shame? had no idea your religion wasn't all about morals

EternalBeing:
Ebola is from the devil! It started spreading faster through sex from a very promisquous region of Liberia. Everything that GOD created is good, but devil knows he has a very short time so he is trying every means to give man sorrow and use troubles to make men to worship him so that they can roast with him in hellfire. All Glory to GOD for he has deposited the Solutions into HIS Chilren, the Book of Roman 9:19-22 "The world groans and earnestly awaiting the manifestation of Children of GOD" Unfortunately, most of these awaited Great Men are rather lusting away, wasting their lives chasing girls and materialism, intead of disovering their Glorious Destinies. "Do u know how many thousands of beautiful girls from around the world started chasing Ben Carlson after he separated the siamese twins?! David? Daniel? Joseph?!" This was the exact voice I heard that made me stop chasing girls, now they chase me but I'm too focused for that. 10,000 ladies started shouting David's name immediately he killed Goliat. Joseph prevented starvation n became a SuperStar, u don't even need to be a Pastor before fulfilling ur Glorious Destiny. The great Pharao King begged Joseph to marry his extreemly beautiful daughter because Joseph had discovered himself earlier. He knew wasted time can never be regained, so he focused on impacting his generation for GOD. We all have a "Goliat" we must kill to enter into the fulfilment of our Glorious Destiny. Immediately David killed Goliat, over 10,000 ladies started shouting his name, they even composed a song in his name singing on streets. Paul the King, ensured that David marry his beautiful daughter. Kill your Goliat first, then even Great men, Kings and Presidents would use their daughters to beg you. GOD wants to manifest you not as a Pastor but as a Great Man; you could be the one that would make food cheap in Nigeria, you could be the one that's supposed to bring the solution to tribalism in Nigeria, etc... The Book of Romans 9:19-22 says "The world groans, eanestly awaiting the manifestation of Sons of GOD" U n I refusing to kill our Goliats is why Nigeria is still suffering! Your own Goliat could be smoking, drunkeness, lust for girls etc... Kill ur Goliat, fulfill ur Glorious Destiny and beautiful Princesses would knee to you. So help us GOD IJN.

so the devil sent ebola into the world? how stupid and dumb could u be?! people like u with ur retard beliefs are the reason Nigeria is still an underdeveloped country.

Saint Theophilus the Penitent, or Theophilus of
Adana (died ca. 538), was a cleric in the sixth
century Church who is said to have made a deal
with the devil to gain an ecclesiastical position.
His story is significant as it is the oldest story of
a pact with the Devil. Theophilus was the
archdeacon of Adana, Cilicia, which is part of
modern Turkey. He was unanimously elected to
be a bishop, but turned the position down out of
humility. Another man was elected in his stead.
When the new bishop unjustly deprived Theophilus
of his position as archdeacon, Theophilus
regretted his humility and sought out a wizard to
help him Satan. In exchange for his aid,
Satan demanded that Theophilus renounce Christ
and the Virgin Mary in a contract signed with his
own blood. Theophilus complied, and the devil
gave him the position as bishop.
Years later, fearful for his soul, Theophilus
repented and prayed to the Virgin for forgiveness.
After forty days of fasting, the Virgin appeared to
him and verbally chastised him. Theophilus
begged forgiveness and Mary promised to
intercede with God. He then fasted a further thirty
days, at which time Mary appeared to him again,
and granted him Absolution. However, Satan was
unwilling to relinquish his hold over Theophilus,
and it was a further three days before Theophilus
awoke to find the damning contract on his chest.
He then took the contract to the legitimate bishop
and confessed all that he had done. The bishop
burned the document, and Theophilus expired, out
of sheer joy to be free from the burden of his
contract.
