Since your wife has put to bed, i believe she should have paid all her bills. Let her scan her receipts to you, including her visa page and data page. Add them to your documents and go along with them. Pray to God and hope for the best.

Can you go travel to the US on a one way ticket and book your return when you get there without any problem at the POE. ( the person is not certain about the date of return cos she's still lobbying for more time at her place of work and she saw a cheap flight offer she wants to take advantage of).

Your friend should kindly book a return ticket and move the date later. At the POE, some cbp officers want to see your return date on your ticket and if you dont have it, you will be termed as one that dont want to return to his/her country.

He is applying for B2 which represents tourism/medical tourism, though b1/b2 are given together.

Do not overstay ur welcome in the USA no matter how juicy & attractive that place is. Do not spoil the show 4 other people that also wish to get a visa to d USA. Rather pray dt d same employer dt sent u 4 training will hv another reason to relocate u to d USA permanently.

The pediatrician at the hospital is different from the one you see after discharge. The hospital pediatrician attends to your baby while there but when you are discharged, you will have to go to your own pediatrician for immunizations and regular check up.

I got there in the morning at 10am & it got to my turn at 11am, I submitted all forms and showed them my travel ticket explaining the need to process it quickly because I also needed to apply for a Nigerian visa & had less than two weeks to travel. The nice lady said I should wait and I got the port within one hour 30 minutes.

My self and my child have 2yrs Visa we got in 2014, we travelled in the same year and spent 2 to 3weeks. we currently in naija. While we were dere, my hubby applied for d visa for the 1st time stating he was going for a conference for enterpreneurs in a state he knew nobody. He wasn't given d visa. This was around october lastyr.

My questn is, I would be going to deliver my baby in d US come May 2015 and would like him&my first child to me dere close to my EDD.

Do u advise he reapply?

Should he apply again in Lagos or go through Abj?

If he's asked about the conference thing he was refused, what should he say.

I have a family there cos I went for a vacatn during my 1st visit but he failed to mention he had a family member in the US but not in the state he was going for the conference!

What documents should he take wt him and how should he answer if he his asked what he's going there for.

What should he do?

My husband was given his visa after two denials. He reapplied the third time when i was preggy and was already in the states and was given. He went with all my hospital correspondences, marriage certificate, change of name e.t.c and was just asked his reason for travelling and he mentioned, it was to assist his wife for childbirth. They asked him the name of his wife and he mentioned it, the VO requested for evidence that we are married becuase my port was in my maiden name, he showed the marriage certificate and change of name, he was asked what he does for a living and he answered. His visa was approved.

What brand do you recommend abeg! I don't trust all those oyinbo women singing praises of medela electric breast pump. An African woman's breast is different and that medela is quite expensive

Medela manual breastpump is okay because i used it for my 6 months exclusive breastfeeding, though it was given to me by the hospital as part of my freebies.

At houston downtown when i applied for my baby's US port, they requested to see d face of my baby, i had to lift him up for their view because he was in his infant car seat. He was barely one month old then.

Let's not abuse this change of intent thing. With the way things are going the letter will be taken with a pinch of salt at POE, and may eventually stop working. Thereby, making the innocent suffer.

Little wonder the Lagos embassy changed their tone of response. Some folks will intentionally lie at interview or claim not to be pregnant with the intention of writing a letter to the embassy afterwards. Nigerians, we always abuse things #DontKnowWhyWeAreFondOfThat

Its not easy to cope alone without help because the first one week after delivery, you cant do any other house chores except to carry your baby. I will advise you get someone to assist you after delivery.

With all bills paid down. But what was stated at the interview was vacation.

Kindly send a mail to the Lagos or Abuja embassy where you got your visa and explain to them that your reason for travelling to the USA has changed. You have to print out their response and go along with all your documents and receipts to show them at the POE. With that done, you should be fine.

I went with my antenatal drugs and was taking them till i had my first appointment and got drugs from my Ob/gyn. I had to leave my drugs that i came with and used the ones i was given.
