Something to encourage the Veterans here,myself and wife got our visa approved via Dropbox. We had two kids in Oakbend Hospital 2015/2018. I was very active on this page around 2014.

Our last Visa expired in 2019. Even though wife got a medical visa,we never bothered applying during the Trump years due to the funny rejection rate for parents of US citizens and the long time wait for appointment.

Submission was done on the 7th of February
Visa was Issued on the 23rd of February

I believe God's grace worked for us . I believe Being truthful and upfront at the previous visa interview also helped.

Getting a 2nd port for our kids has been one of the best decisions we've made as a couple. In those days many people thought our decision was a waste of money as Nigeria wasnt this rough but here we are.So i say, Goodluck to everyone on this adventure,it will end in praise.

Birth Story

I want to thank God almighty who made it possible for me to conceive after going thru secondary infertility. Had my first baby August 2013 via EMCS & started trying for the second baby when he was two years. I ttced from June 2015 & conceived in 2017 but lost it at 9 weeks but God has blessed me with my miracle princess in the beautiful month of July.

My nine months journey was smooth & went well without any issue. When I got to 3rd trimester, I started going for prenatal massages & started taking red raspberry tea and dates from 38 weeks in order to prepare for labour/delivery. On my EDD at 3am, I went to the rest room to poo & i was purging so I said to myself that I might give birth later in the day or the next day as this was my first sign of labour with my first baby. Was preparing for church when I got the first contraction which I ignored thinking it’s the normal Braxton Hicks, quickly left for church as I was running late. Got to church & went to poo again & it was watery & I was sure I didn’t eat anything the previous day to make me purge, I told myself that proper labour will soon start. I started praying ooooo.

Contractions kept on coming and I kept timing them waiting for it to get close together before leaving for the hospital. Immediately, my water broke & kept on pouring with full force, had to inform DH so we quickly get to the hospital to prevent the risk of infection & also considering I was attempting a VBAC, we left church for the hospital. Had to send someone home for my baby bag while i went to the hospital. Got there & was checked & was told I was already 10cm dilated & 100% effaced, quickly they arranged the delivery room for me & was I instructed to start pushing. I pushed with every contraction I felt, but baby was still up until I was told to turn and go on all fours, I pushed like that & baby descended, I turned again to the normal delivery position & pushed & baby’s head came out, followed by her body. Placenta was delivered with the next contraction & I was stitched as my baby tore my vjay. Labour to delivery wasn’t up to 4 hours as it was a sharp sharp delivery which only God can do.

I thank God who made it possible for safe delivery, mother and daughter healthy & I also pray God will do it for other waddling mamas here & to our GTC mamas, I pray God will answer your prayers soonest. Amen

Please forgive my ignorance at the bolded, but how does one not using an earlier issued visa construe a problem when renewing?

I have no idea but was scared when we doing the renewal because people said he won’t be given.

In the spirit of giving back, got in thru Atlanta to houston yesterday. Visa was to expire in March 2018 & I did Dropbox renewal (B2 Medical) for me and hubby In February stating I will stay for two months while hubby stays for two weeks and was successful. Hubby wasnt able to use his expired visa and was still re-issued another visa. To God be the glory.
Flew Delta airline at 36 weeks and no fit to fly was asked. Got into Atlanta & ed the queue.
Got to my turn and I greeted the cbp officer & handed over my port to him. He took my thumbprint & asked my reason for coming, I stated childbirth and summer vacation. He asked why? I stated that I wanted dual citizenship for my baby & since I had the first baby here in 2013, I also want to give this second baby equal opportunity. He asked where my first baby is & I told him back in Lagos but will come in July with hubby once school vacates & we all return together after the new baby would have arrived.
He requested to see my flight ticket showing I will go back and I showed him. He asked if I have doctor & cash & I responded yes and stated how much I have which is above $10k. He stated that he will stamp me in but I need to go into another room to fill a cash declaration form as it’s not illegal to come into US with more than $10k but it must be declared. I said thank you and I left with the escort to the other room.
Sat down there and when it was my turn, I filled and signed the form. Quickly grabbed my luggage and checked them in for the next available flight going to houston as I missed my first flight due to the long queue at immigration. Will have my first doctor appointment on Friday.
