Hahahhaha Even the crude that fuels their criminal enterprises is gone and set to be imported whereas the ignorant ones believe there is respite on the horizon for the Naira...I laugh in crude oyel. The way the economy of this contraption will collapse within the next 3 years ehn....even the politicians will start jumping ship when there'll be no more funds to pay their allowances and loot. The Zamfara Governor already pre-empted his looting by declaring an imaginary cash asset of $5B in a Nigerian bank where he was a director before becoming a governor. What this means in essence is that he'll be converting all Naira cash accruable to the state into Dollars by mopping up whatever dollar is in circulation at any rate. This is Nigeria, the jungle where rogues call the shots and the oppressed defend their oppressors on a daily. Bookmark this... 1 Like |

Lol This is the "conservative" sum he intends to fleece from his State coffers. What a bold and arrogant thief. Now, this is how all of them politicians and rogue businessmen rubbish the naira and continue to mount pressure on it. His intention from the get-go is to perpetually use whatever Naira accrues to his State to mop up any available dollar at any rate possible to justify his outlandish asset declaration. Oles |

Where is the "Independence" of INEC when the appointment of electoral umpires is at the whims and calls of the President? There is so much wrong with our system at all levels. 1 Like |

This beautiful woman looks good to govern Kogi State in the near future. Dino would have been able to leverage on her advantage and acceptance if she was on the ballot as his deputy. An upset is still possible though, not minding the bloodletting that might ensue. Her looks and skin tone will work very well to her advantage knowing the mentality of our people to "looks". 46 Likes 2 Shares |

NothingDoMe: You got it wrong, mate. The so-called seasoned speculators are the corrupt government officials including the ones at the CBN and Nigeria Minting and Printing Company who have excess of the worthless Naira in their custody and can also print whatever amount they wish to mop up the available "pumped" Dollars for safe-keeping and to preserve their stolen wealth from depreciation thereby leaving the poor citizens to grapple with an excess of Naira chasing too few goods. This is just a rigmarolic economic policy. |

Win-Win or Loss-Loss to all involved depending on where you are looking at it from. They should hurry up and hasten the disintegration. Even Politicians across the board have seen the handwriting and are on a looting spree to secure as much as they can for themselves. 1 Like |

Trial and error voodoo economists at work. This will serve as the final trigger for the coming economic implosion. All this nonsense and cunning economic policy is to hoodwink and confuse the mostly illiterate and gullible Nigerians into thinking that prices of commodities have dropped. 1 Like |
