Is it possible to try out a midfield trio of Fisayo, Iwobi and Ndidi/Onyeka/Onyedika? AE will continue to start Ndidi, so I have made peace with that, but then again, Ndidi had a good game in my opinion today.

did you see the Libyan player ask ref to check his watch again after the final whistle grin grin grin grin

We were too wasteful with goal scoring, was very bad!!!!!! Too many chances wasted. I expect Libya to play with more bravery on Tuesday and we should be able to beat them that way. and maybe this was a game for Atilogu dancer, maybe he would have won a penalty or make the Libyans get a red card. The Libyans came to park a train!!!!

Udogie condemned to the bench by Calafiori, and it seems the benching would continue for a long time. He should just have played for us.

Minnows still Dey 😎
Look at Guinea Fowl beating us at home, Lesotho almost did, we couldn't even beat Rwanda, the gap don reduce o for African football.

Cape Verde losing at home to Botswana and our friendly neighbors are playing goalless with Sudan currently. As we all know, no more minors in African football again.

Victor Boniface probably seeking meme ideas from Raphael Onyedika (who's said to be quite funny in camp).

If not so, then explain to me why Boniface has a phone in his hands during light workout. This Guy!!!🤣🤣🤣

In front(faded): Bruno and Nwabali
I expect Egu to start with his 2 man midfield and most likely Ndidi would start. Eguavoen likes Ndidi for many reasons, physicality and his build. The person to pair Ndidi is what I don't know. I don't think he fancies Iwobi in my opinion, based on the nation's cup AE coached and the last game against Rwanda. But I would love Iwobi to start alongside Ndidi and either of Onyeka/Onyedika in the midfield (however, I doubt this). Hopefully we get the needed results in this fixture and see what the future holds.

Chief I understand your ion for George's inclusion now my argument is based on the squad current make it will be hard to find a place for him unless as a fourth option in attack.

Even Osimhen didn't instantly make it into the team framework. He got called then was left out for a while for more experienced hands till he was recalled and took off like a bang.

Managing the national team is not just about looking at future additions but also overseeing current performances. I believe reaching to George assure him of how much we think he can contribute to the team is the way to go at 18 he still needs to get better even at Monaco he isn't a starter at best he's a young prodigy to keep our eyes on.

That said I understand your worry for not to snatch him but it's really in the young man's court if he's interested in playing for Nigeria which I haven't heard yet.

Charles has a valid argument. Truth is the FBs or abroad raised player's 1st choice would most likely be the country they grew up in, so we are at a disadvantage already. We should be the ones pulling all the levers we can pull to get those boys on our side, once we see huge potential. We could have tied Eze and maybe even, Saka and Tomori down if we were very proactive, intentional and strategic.

oga rest u knw nothing about football.

Try and make case for Musa as well since Iheanacho deserves his recent call up. Atleast both are experienced

If Tanimu can be one of your best super eagles defenders recently who am I to question your choice of Iheanacho at the expense of in form younger strikers performing week in week out in europe
Charley.nwa, u just dey para today dey give everyone bazooka. Na my elder Icon4s u dey beat so o. And yes, I understand your point about George but you know as our NFF be. Dem fit even talk say dem no sabi o.

Boniface has answered you again today! I think you need to pray he gets injured now to prove you right 😜
Eguavoen likes his strikers big and strong and if Osimhen is out injured and Bonifacey fit, Victor B. likely to start.

Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has reed Kano Pillars on a short-term contract.
Shehu Abdullahi also reed Kano Pillars. It would be good if our other players out of favor in Europe could also retrace their steps. A name that easily comes to mind is Nwakali but am not sure if he can survive the physicality of the NPFL.

I have even more inside info on Amuneke and the work at Heartland. It's been a terrible start no doubt but an insider who works with the state FAs in the east gave me the lowdown.

I am reluctant to share as it would definitely be seen as Amunike asslicking and stern defence. So better I leave it.

I only say this now because of the post you just drooped.

Great decision you made sir.

Football is not mathematics. Kompany who was atrocious with Burnley in the EPL is pulling off tactical wonders in Bayern Munich.

This is a team that got relegated. Amunike would need time to shape them. Four games is not a lot, especially with the players adapting to a new philosophy.
Wishing him the best.

Let him keep working at it and keep it a long term project. As time goes on, he will build the team with sound scouting and recruitment.
You better tell him to shape up or he would be shipped out of the job. Infact if he doesn't start getting results very soon he had better resign before they sack him.
