COOL10:The difference here is: Moses announced that he has retired! He did so at just 27. While Mikel hasn't announced his retirement and don't forget he is 31 and just getting back from injury. So his is reasonable! No one will bash Mikel if he decides to retire today. He has paid duly to the service of his nation. Note: before you go on to tag me as 'hater' or 'pained', I have always ed both players. Messi decided to retire from international football on the backdrop of 2014 worldcup at 27. His countrymen bashed him and called him all sorts of names(one of which was a - weakling) which later forced him to rescind his decision. He came back and led his country to the world cup. I'm sure Moses case won't be an exception. 3 Likes |

The November list didn't come as surprise to me. One thing this list and the previous ones have done is that, it continues to show that the man Rohr does not know the way to the promise land. He has contributed immensely to our football by bringing us out of agonizing period of bad football and barrenness, he has brought back the fear factor known with the Super Eagles on the African continent. In short, he has achieved more in few years that he has spent with us. Going forward, I'm afraid to say the man lacks idea(s) to improve the SE. We might continue to win our African opponents and even go on to win AFCON 19. But truth be told, the farthest his revolution will take us is just a football orgasm and we will be back again to the drawing board. Note: why do some people get emotional and attack others for stating their opinions. Just saw where Mickael2 was attacked for writing off the team’s chances against SA. On paper, with the thin midfielders we will be parading, we don't stand a chance and every reasonable pundits will never give the Eagles a walkover over the southies. Not forgetting that they whipped our ass right there at our backyard. We all hope the team wins. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Has anyone heard anything about Tryonne Ebuehi?

From what I saw again in the second half, Our team lacks flank players. Most especially an inverted winger. S. Kalu is good but he is far from Victor Moses. Can't believe some folks were comparing him to Walcott. I hope he grows and develop into a better player. But if Rohr, won't allow biasness to becloud his judgement, Simon Moses is way ahead of this Bordeaux winger. Henry was average in the recent two matches he played. Ighalo will continue to perform as long as he does not pick up is 'hold up play' style. He was our best player in the two legged encounters. Ndidi seems to be exhausted... Dude has not been performing in recent time. He did nothing spectacular today. Etebo on the other hand is just like an electric switch that on and off at will. Very unpredictable. One match he is good and another he becomes a enger. He needs to be consistent if he must reach the very top. Overall, the team needs a Midfield maestro who will be the comptroller general. Mikel is the only thing we've got. None of our present Midfielders can control play. Iwobi is our solution to the creative headache ravaging the team for a while now. Dude was unplayable in the final third always providing those inch-perfect es. He simply possesses the key to unlocking defenses. But he needs an equally talented and good CMF to help ease things. Hopefully, in the not too distant future, We will find one before Mikel finally calls it over. Aina will always be Aina. The guy looses concentration easily. Repeated same mistake today. His hesitation gifted our opponent thier second goal. venturing forward and he was caught out of position few times. Nonetheless he is a better option to Shehu at RB. Ebuehi still thumps both... Can't wait to have him back. Finally, Rohr didn't learn one single thing at the World Cup. His decision making is poor. Ighalo saved the day today nothing more. No single tactical input from the man in the second half. Only saw him gesturing that the team should move out... Hahaha. 7 Likes |

A sweet away victory... Was happy to catch up with the second half. Ighalo is the rave of the moment. No better way to redeem one's poor image than this. Kudos to him. Congratulations to the SEs and all Football loving Nigerians! |

gamaliel9:Good observation. I believe he'll improve in that aspect too. The boys are maturing and growing with every ing game. The gulf in difference between how they approached our first AFCON qualifier match against SA- (a match where the seniors- Mikel, Moses, Balogun and Ighalo were absent) and yesterday's game with similar omissions (Mikel, Onazi, Moses the retiree) can not be overlooked. SA will be shocked when they host us come November. I expect Mikel to be fit and available for the encounter. 4 Likes |

Rohr's lack of bravery is holding the team back. Mikel and Ndidi should be anchoring our Midfield while Iwobi does his thing ahead of them. But I won't be surprised to see Iwobi back on the bench when Mikel returns. 4 Likes |

Henry can't play the number 9position. I repeat Henry can't play the number 9position. He should continue his development on the flank.

Jamiu Collins seems to be an upgrade on Brian Idowu. Can't wait to see him play again. Aina combined well on the right. His attacking ability thumps Shehu and he was solid behind. 7 Likes |
