What the authorities at the Nigerian airport should have done is provide a computer where people could connect and pay online, or provide a POS that people can use to pay directly into Federal government’s . A QR code should also be given to them so that they can take it to the test center and to act as evidence of payment.

When I was coming to Nigeria from the Netherlands, the airport authorities there didn’t allow me go into the boarding area until I showed them my QR code. They said the Nigerian government requires that I have paid for the PCR test before I can enter Nigeria. I had to pay for the PCR test there and then at the airport. And the good thing was that the website works. The site works very well. I was able to pay and get my QR code before they allowed me go into the boarding area.

Apparently there are some countries that do not enforce that engers going to Nigeria must have the QR code before they board.

Thank you for this.

Many folks come without the QR code , and at such there are required to fill the form and make the payment for the post arrival test.

Some do not have a naira card or do not want to pay online. Some zealous immigration officer to accept transfer and make the payments for them online, This is just to allow flow in of enger's than to course backlogs or waiting for clearance.

Each countries have criteria for entry now.

Ignorance and yeye Journalism in Nigeria.

Many inbound travels would purposely not filled the online form and pay for the required fee for the test and you can only allow entrance after paying for the covid post arrival test.

So at the airport, some travels always claim they don't know how to make an online payment or refuse to make use of their

1. Debit/credit card for the online payments.

Over Sabi or helpful immigration officer would provide their number and card which can be use for the online payments on the NIPTA website.

The difference in 1K , may be the guy is using it to offset his bank charges.. As paystack or the online charges from 200 and above.. Last last the guy makes 500+ gain..

If you check the said Williams statement, you would see the debits all going to the travel portal.

Help Don become something. The immigration should just send them back or Any person coming without the payment or force the airlines not to pick them from their places of departure.

We adhere to rules and all laid down regulations in foreign countries regarding to the covid restrictions, but the simple way to protect our people.. We float the rules.

Hallo,

Please, I am confuse with which form to fill for the visa application. I saw the electronic form titled VIDEX and a national visa application form in PDF. Please, which of this form should I fill. Are they the same or different. Thanks for your usual response.

With the Videx your documents can be transmitted electronically (meaning you fill all information online with an internet across and bar code would be generated which the embassy can access all information)

The national visa application is filled either manually or electronically (using PDF application that allow edits, you don't need an internet connection to fill the form).

Advice you to go for the manual application (The national Visa form in PDF)

book online appointment, while others are complaining that they have book online appointment for 5 weeks yet no response from them. It is really giving me concern.

Ask your spouse to write a letter addressing his concern and use any of the the courier post in Deustche post specifically. They don't joke with letters, and it's always read.

Please help ask and drop update, I really need the information for my wife. Thanks

The fast track of your wife visa is applicable after her visa appointment interview. In the past when the email booking was used. You get an appointment immediately, but now you have to wait for the one year period, although after the visa interview. She would get it within 2 weeks max

Or Alternatively
Still book the appointment via the online portal
Write a letter to your DAAD person requesting for an invitation letter for your spouse, the person you ask for the following details:
Her port information, and marriage certificate. When you get the invitation, proceed to your auslander office to file for an invitation letter for her again using the DAAD letter as well again. Although not necessarily, just finding an options for speedy.

When you have the two letters.

Send a copy of it and your wife information (port details) to the embassy in Lagos requesting for the date, together with her confirmation of family reunion email.

Just give a try, it might work.

Like I wrote, I had COVID-19 during that first wave and it wasn't funny, even during the lock down, I was going to work and somehow I contracted it, it is not what I would wish my worst enemy to have.

Not your worst enemy you don't pray to get covid

Had similar encountered with this virus some few months ago.
It was deadly and life threatening for me. Thank God for the survival.

I had to rush and get the MRNA vaccine immediately, no need of taking second chance.

I rather die of the vaccine shots than experiencing what covid did to me.

BETIKS:
I have followed this thread from the first day and have seen so many opinions, some spot on and some laughable. But more often than not the optimism remains at a high level. I want to begin to state some of my personal opinion due to an extensive research and deductive reasoning.

1) The major delays in this recruitment exercise is due to one thing alone - Budget approval. NCS decided to add the cost of this recruitment to their 2019/2020 budget and what was allocated for this recruitment raised a lot of eyebrows from the National Assembly and even when the budget was approved a lot was going underground by some very corrupt and powerful people to syphon some of the funds. When it became apparent that embezlement was not possible anymore the NCS must now prove itself to be able. That's why if you were at the Physical screening you will hear many officers say they don't know much about this recruitment.
2) The major reasons why there is a supplementary list in my opinion is due to some hypothesis;
a) The first list was influenced by certain people. The pressure on the CG was so much that he had to give in. No matter how honest he was or his level of integrity, he was put there by someone, he is answerable to that person and his refusal to do their bidding could put his job on the line, he had to give in. I am not saying there is no merit in the first list, but the first list was stained with the Nigerian connection syndrome
b) Many who did the first screening did not meet up to expectations (either or both medically & endurance wise).
c) The number who met up with the minimum standard was less than the 3500 desired intakes.
d) A feasibility study was done by the NCS and they discovered that the force is massively understaffed and an additional 1500 intake needs to be employed to fill in the personnel gap.

3) This recruitment exercise concludes possibly this month or before the end of November. Reason being that the NCS will be audited and during the auditing all monies spent must be ed for. The funds for this recruitment have been released already and it must be used for the purpose it is been released for.
4) 60% will make it from the first list and about 75% will make it from the supplimentry list. [REASONS CAN BE SOLVED IF YOU BRING OUT ALL THE FACTS, VARIABLES, & FACTORS]
5) The supplimentary list has a higher % of merit than the first list. Let me explain what I mean; The first list has more names than the supplimentary list. Assuming the first list have 20 names and the second list have 10 names. 12 out of 20 in the first list are on merit while the 8 are influenced. But for the second list, 8 are merit and 2 is probably influenced. Know this for a fact that there is no corruption proof process in Nigeria. No matter what someone who knows somebody will probably have his way.

In conclusion, what every you have your faith in hold it dearly and ensure your faith is unshaken. Many were called, many will be chosen and few will be disappointed. Wish you all the best outcome.

This sums up everything.
Rightly stated especially the supplementary list. That's why the screening process was handled by TRADOC.
The first list files would definitely be moved to TRADOC to handle it.

Hopefully every thing should be completed this year, let's see how the week end after meetings (unfortunately the finance Minister hasn't show up yet) although she was represented and gives an open space for new recruitment next year.

At this stage, just be steadfast and pray for God's guidance and favour.

Seven people have fallen ill after consuming a variety of food and drink from kitchens at Darmstadt Technical University in , in what police suspect may have been an attempted poisoning.

Several students and of staff experienced nausea and some watched their arms or legs turn blue after using kitchen facilities and a drinks machine at the university’s Institute of Materials Science on Monday, Hesse state police reported.

Six people were treated in hospital in Darmstadt, near Frankfurt, while a 30-year-old student was temporarily in a life-threatening condition but was stabilised by doctors on Monday evening.

A homicide squad with 40 detectives, called Licht (“light”), has been set up to investigate the case, police and the state prosecutors in Darmstadt announced on Tuesday.

“Investigations are running at high speed and police are doing everything to identify the culprit,” they said.

They suspect several freely accessible milk and water bottles at three separate small kitchens on the university’s Lichtwiese campus were contaminated over the weekend.

Citing an anonymous investigator, the Bild newspaper said on Tuesday police were ruling out that the poison could have been left behind by accident.

Students were urged to only consume food or drink they had “carried themselves or stored under supervision”. Those who drank from bottles bought on the campus and were feeling unwell were advised to immediately a doctor.

Police said the contamination was easily identifiable due to the acrid smell emitted by the suspected poison. Investigators said they had identified the substance after analysing samples in police labs overnight, but could not name it while the search for the culprit was ongoing.

“A substance has been identified that can be harmful to one’s health, and even deadly,” said a senior public prosecutor, Robert Hartmann, at a press conference on Tuesday.

“We are shocked by the apparent crime that has been committed at our university,” said the university president, Tanja Brühl, on Tuesday morning.

Angela Dorn-Rancke, the science minister for the state of Hesse, which includes Darmstadt, said: “I wish the affected all the best, a quick recovery and can assure them my full .

“Together with the university and investigators, we now need to clarify the situation as quickly as possible.”

He still have Fulani terrorism in his blood

“We are not the only country with open field herders. However, all serious governments have been looking for sustainable solutions for their various demographics. Nigeria cannot be an exception. In fact, many decades– almost a century – ago, the colonial rulers foresaw this problem and developed grazing reserves that were basically enough to transform the livestock sector. Then why are we still here arguing farmers’/herders crises? That is because we have not been serious with policy implementation. And that is the problem that must be solved,” he argued.

He so called plofessor that seeks taking over other people's land as solution to Fulani crisis, what happened to advocating for reserve in the north

Why does he believes it is government responsibility to spoon feed fulanis for free

Why is he not condemning fulani barbaric method of ranching instead of siding it
