odizeey: Guiu with 70 mins in the league while almost all Chelsea fans are lamenting and cursing Nicolas Jackson. Tyrique George with 97 mins in the league while all Chelsea fans are lamenting about Freedom Fighter, Mukaila, and Neto. Acheampong with 169 minutes in the league. Lenny Yoro with 1067 minutes in the league Kobbie Mainoo with 1308 minutes in the league as a teenager. odizeey: Amass is at the point Skelly was 6 months ago. In 6 months' time you can come back to complain. Skelly and Nwaneri are also outliers. You can't use them to prove your case when there are 20 teams in the league. |
![]() |
odizeey: It just goes to show that Skelly is ready. They are also not age mates and are not from the same England set. Meanwhile Skelly was born in 2006 and Amass was born in 2007. Skelly made his Arsenal debut 3 days before his 18th birthday. Amass made his United debut on his 18th birthday. To-Mah-Toe To-May-Toe Next question. |

swiz123: We are not in disagreement. Humans will approach with better tactics than other animals though. That is a given. How long the tactics last will depend on the situation and the courage of the men. If it is an area where there are escape routes, many of the men will run away once the first 2-3 limbs and human heads land near them. If it is in an enclosed area where there is no escape and it is a fight to the death and the men can't escape, the gorilla will ultimately lose as long as it is not on PEDs. Every animal eventually gets tired. In most ancient and medieval battles, more people are killed running away at the end of the battle than during the fight itself. That would be the same in this case. If the men can keep coming while witnessing the limbs of their comrades torn from the shoulder and the heads either ripped off from the neck or smashed in with a fist or forearm, they will eventually overcome a single gorilla. It is a very big IF sha. 5 Likes 1 Share |

You claim that we are overprotecting our teenagers but to name the numerous clubs that are giving more minutes to teenagers than us has now become a JAMB question. I have asked several times since yesterday, but it is radio silence.

odizeey: 200 minutes are poverty-stricken, abi? Name 3 Chelsea teenagers with more than 200 poverty-stricken minutes. |

swiz123: It depends on the courage and strength of the men as well as how they apply tactics. Our advantage is our brain. It is either the gruesome nature of the initial human deaths causes the rest to run away or the gorilla will eventually get exhausted and become a sitting duck. A tired gorilla can be stomped to death at least. Nobody should try to punch it sha. |

odizeey: Your first wrong statement: Amass did not play when Dorgu got red card. And even if Amass pushes the minutes up is that strange? Is he not part of the youths? Or it me or you that will push the minutes up? When some of us say not ready yet we say that because we watch every single minute of every single televised academy game, and we see how they are performing for the full 90 minutes and not just highlights. Your second wrong statement: Chido is not one of the ones i think is not ready yet. In fact, i have been calling on Chido to start games for a few weeks now. Finally, you people talk as if City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, Villa, Newcastle play their teenagers. Apart from recently when Arsenal started playing Nwaneri and MLS we are the only big team that continues giving minutes to such young players, mainly because it is our tradition and also partly because the senior players are thrash. The truth is we are the ones who play our teenagers, and in some cases, we even overplay our teenagers when they are not ready. You don't hear about other club's fans lamenting like ours. City's Under-18 team is presently equal to our even slightly better than our Under-18 team and it is almost certain that none of them will smell senior team for maybe 2 to 3 years sef. Meanwhile we have had 2 players make their debuts in a few months and a couple others make the bench. City's Under-21 team is way better than our Under-21 team and those boys are struggling to make the senior team bench. Check Villa, Newcastle, Chelsea, Liverpool etc. They all have academies too. How many of them are they playing? The difference is that their senior players are doing their job so there is no undue pressure on their academy players. Oscar Bobb is 21 and used to deal with our academy but he is still on the fringes at City. If he was here, he would have been on 200 games by now and fans might have started cussing him out too. |

larride:. 1st correction. He has been way below average in the league. The squad is much better than 14th position. 2nd correction. He will get the 1st half of next season. Oct to Dec is historically the sack time. If there is not significant improvement by the first few months of next season he should and will be shown the door. 4 Likes |

ChristineC: Even if it does, we have Yoro, Heaven, Maz, Kukonki, Fredericson that can all play LCB. I agree that we don't really need to spend much money on defenders. CF, Left AM, CM, GK, should be the priorities. |

MRTA7: Talent wise Amass is better but he likely was not ready physically 3-4 months ago. At his age you would be surprised with the way players develop even during the course of a season. Also, for a WB in Amorim's system Amass is not a natural fit. Amorim prefers athletes while Amass is more of a technician. However, he has surprised even me with how well he has coped with the physicality so far. If Amass is able to cope with the physical side of things he will displace Dorgu. Leon who is coming next season is another interesting prospect that might balance both physical and technical sides better. 4 Likes |

MRTA7: Hehehehe. CapitalCee said we need to play him more to give him more confidence. On a serious note, though we need all the bodies we can get in the Europa League. Even if it is for him to be available on the bench and be an option to come on for the last 20 mins to see out a game or an extra body to throw on if we are desperately chasing a game. You guys have to that we are currently missing 5 senior attacking players already through injuries and loans. I don't rate him too but at least he should be available as an option. 8 Likes 1 Share |

Good debut by Fredricson. Amass continues to be solid and towards the end of the match he was more adventurous in attack.
