Nigeria market get as e be...

A certain retail business is sweeping across neighbourhoods in Lagos..

Booku! ...na almost every major road in Lagos you go see one..

This strategy will be a big blow to the likes of ShopRite, Spar that are in far distance to neighborhoods.

The likes of Jendol, Justrite don get very aggressive competitor

TINUBU IS NOT BUHARI, 2027 WILL BE VERY HOT FOR HIM.

GO AND START BEGGING NIGERIANS TO VOTE FOR HIM.

IF HE LOSE IN A FREE AND FAIR ELECTION, HE WILL BE MOVED FROM THERE WHETHER HE LIKE IT OR NOT.

Why the emphasy on FREE and FAIR....when you know deep down, no elections in Nigeria is Free and Fair

You have gone off point.

Apparently saying that you don't want to return to the salary as is when fufu was 2 for n50....is grounds for you calling me an oppressor.

Also, not all salaried workers are government workers, son. Seems you think that way. I am a salaried worker, and I have worked mostly in the private sector since graduation.

My point remains, if you want fufu to go back to when it was 2 for N50, you want your salary to go back to the level it was when fufu was 2 for N50.

But you don't get it.

(P.S...If we want an economy that would benefit everyone, read THE BOOKS, HOLD THE OIL)

I am not interested in this back-and-forth...

You are the one glorifying salary increments....I have only told you only small percentage of the society "benefitted" from it.

In other words, what is responsible for inflation of FUFU is not salary increments.

Whatever it is...the Government should fix it!

That's the point

The problem with this comment is that you don;t want to return to the salary as it was when fufu was 2 for N50. You want the price of fufu to reduce while your salary remains the same . That's not how it works.

Back then, people were complaining of lack of money then. The fact is, you would not be earning the income in numbers value that you were earning now.

I would like to return to the days when my parents were able to buy a cow (in concert with another copule) for N90. In 1981. But at that time, assuming I was a young man working at that time, my salary would have been at N150 or less.

The obvious flaw in your comment is that you assumed everyone is a civil servant or have seen a supposedly astronomical wage increment , because of inflation...Nah!!!

I am not a civil servant and 85% of Nigeria's workforce are not!!!

So, the nonsense 70,000 minimum wage does not benefit millions of Nigerians outside government workforce.

Teachers, gatemen, sales boy and girl, drivers, cleaners, contract job workers and millions of others are living in poverty!!!

Show empathy and tell this shitty government to do better!!!

Fubara is now learning very fast..

All the lightweights political praise singers have deserted him...left him to face his fate all by himself..

Sense of reasoning don prevail and he now appears very humble...doing all he could to regain his governorship seat.

Politics in Nigeria is not for the weak.

Trust Tinubu's Government...dem go sing this achievement to high heavens!!!

No be APC government lead by Buhari caused the FX logjam

Na APC caused the wahala, na APC fix it...

Yes, Tinubu did well clearing it, but the praise singing is enough.

My own be say, let's begin to see the positives on microeconomics....I want the price of FUFU to return to 2 for NGN 50.
As simple as this!

These returns are lies. They are built on perception rather than truth.

The problem with this data is that they didn't say the price, they bought and sold.

They presented the data as if stocks is like a money doubling scheme where as there are other companies that did very poor.

In 2023, the lowest price of transcorp stock was N3.19, it highest was N19.20

If you put 1m at N3.19 that is 313.5k shares
If you put 1m at N19.20, you will get 52k shares

In 2025,, the lowest price of transcorp stock was NGN 42.90 and the highest is N43

If you sell, 313.5k shares at 42.90, you will make N13.4m but your profit is 12.4m

If you sell 52k shares at N43, you will make 2.2M but your profit will just be N1.2M

So your profit depends on the amount of shares you have, the price you bought it and the price you sold it

No matter how we clarify this...one thing is clear.. people actually made huge profits..even from what you analysed.

Include devaluation of Naira..still massive profits

Baba Atiku is seriously in a very bad political state...

He can't be VP again, even if he decides to a southerner in 2027..

He is equally old to wait till 2031 for the Northern slot that would have been more easier for him..

Baba is frustrated and terribly in a very bad politically disadvantage state

if NNPCL-controlled refineries were working, it would checkmate Dangote Refinery, which would result in more competitive petroleum product prices for Nigerians."

As if NNPCL na serious company that can be banked on.
