In as much as we have our doubts in issues like this, anybody that suggests solutions to problems, no matter how unrealistic it sounds, should be given a chance to actually explain the magic he/she wants to perform. After explanations, it is left for us to decide whether to use him/her or not. I'm in of giving him a chance. Who knows? Something good might come out of it.

AWDs don't have such. They transmit power to each individual tyre based on feel and road conditions.

On a side note, Peter Cuningham seems to be doing really well racing in GTS in a fwd Acura TSX with a 3.5 engine transplant. I think the bottom line with any car, with enough money and know-how you can negate any inherent deficiencies a platform presents. Understeer or oversteer can always be dialed out or mitigated against.

I say this because the series is set up to neutralize a winning platform. There's a reason why you will almost never see a FWD platform competing is races having cars with hp greater than 300.

How many AVERAGE nigerian drives a TRUELY sports car? In real racing, you won't see a fwd car. But the AVERAGE nigerian would drive an AVERAGE car. Fuel economy, speed, safety and comfort are very important. FWD excels here. You want more power? Then go for RWD or AWD. That why mazda or acura didn't put up their FWD cars for such races. Instead they switch to other trims that have RWD or AWD.

See how this poster twisted this post just to make It look as if FWD is an improvement on RWD. You said Mazda6 FWD outruns RWD BMW s and even AWD Audis. Can you be that biased? Are you comparing 2.8 liter (probably a v6) FWD Mazda with 1.8 liter I-4 RWD BMW? Why didn't you state the engine sizes, hp and maximum engine torques of both cars and lets understand you better.

The simply truth is that most car manufacturers changed to FWD vehicles because they are cheaper to produce, compared to RWD configuration. The less the cost of production, the more the profit. Benz and BMW maintained RWD configurations when other brands shifted to FWD, because they have fans that are still willing to spend more to buy those their products that cost more to produce, knowing what they gain driving them.

A lot of ppl have said d right things. Some are also wrong. When we make comparison, we need to state the . Are we referring to speed? Handling? Safety? Etc
Different cars and manufacturers excel in different aspects. A lot of ppl erroneously bliv that german cars are d best. Yes, maybe. IN THEORY! But have they actually MET each other on the track? Let them proof their worth. And when comparing, we compare cars with SIMILAR engines, SIMILAR displacement, SIMILAR power (like I stated earlier which IKENNA didn't have d time to notice). An LIVE example would be races. Where similar cars come together and ACTUALLY PROOF their worth. In races there are strict rules, strict conditions that must be adhered to. Eg wikipedia says. That mazda races in the GTA class of SCCA Pro Racing World Challenge. Which includes cars like audi, acura, lexus,BMW to mention but a few. Cars have similar engines and power. Mazda6 finished FIRST in that competition despite the fact that they use "stop start" as opposed to "rolling starts" used in other races which is to FWD's disadvantage. That is not to say that other drive trains don't have their aspects of specialization, but personally, I'd go with FWD any day. They're generally safer too

OP, it is impossible to inflate a 16" tyre on a 15" rim while it is impossible to fit a 15" tyre on a 16" rim.

The option you have is to change both rim and tyre to 16". Also as Siena suggested, u can increase the profile of the tyre too. Back in 1999 i changed my rim and tyres from 13" to 14" on my Honda accord 86 model, i enjoyed the car for the next 10 yrs.

A small problem may arise since car is usually designed for a specific max size of rim. If u dont exceed the recommended tyre size, then u are ok. If u exceed, under full load, the tyre may occasionally touch the body of the car which could damage the tyre. Worst case scenario could lead to a tyre burst.

With all electric gadgets turned off (traction, stability etc) fwd fares better on roads with a lot of sharp bends. RWD rides tend to spin out

Mazda millenias are truly spectacular cars. Mazda car are generally undervalued, but in recent times, it getting the attention it deserves. Mazda 323f, mazda 626, mazda 6, mazda 3 to mention just a few. I've driven an audi, toyota and now a mazda 6 and I tell u that mazdas are reliable cars. I also haven't had any problem with mine thus far. But I'd prefer u went for a mazda 626. U can get it at a slightly cheaper price and d parts are everywhere.

for long i have been following up on the gruesome murder of those young souls. my heartfelt condolence goes out to their families. I however still have some questions which despite the number of days ed, have still not been answered.
1: what is the report given by the Chief to whom the boys were purportedly taken to b4 their death.
2: where is the lad who was oweing them money. How come he is not known yet?
3: many faces where clearly seen in video. How many of them have been arrested and why haven't they given their s yet?
4: how come not even a single person decided to oppose the killing in a crowd of over 150 people including women? were they convinced beyond doubt that they were guilty? if yes, why hasn't anyone come up with their excuses?
5: where are the vigilante that were on duty? have they been arrested and what are their reports?
6: where are the laptops that were supposedly stolen. what about the victims phones? who is the real thief here?
This isn't a difficult case at all. there are loads and loads of evidence.
I thought that by now, meaningful conclusions would have been drawn and justice quickly met ted out. only that can appease us and the family of the deceased.
In conclusion, i am not comfortable with the slow progress made thus far!

A very informative and enlightening thread. I have a similar problems as those mentioned previously. I plan on building 2 units of 2 storey building containing 6 flats each on 2 plots of land. I have done the survey and d red copy has been lodged. I have 5 copies of architectural drawing, 5 copies of d survey, 5 copies of structural drawing, land information, and C of O. Land is free from aquisition. I am working towards getting the approval. My s charged me 750 thousand naira for it and said it'll take 3days to get. I think this amount is rather outrageous. Land is located in olowora village after ojodu berger. Does anyone here know how much I ought to pay and who I can talk to?
