Pls, I need your opinion on this: I have a cousin who is a civil servant in one of the federal agencies as an istrative officer. She has a masters degree in Anthropology. The issue here is she wants to apply for a part time master degree in public istration and thereafter do her professional certification in public istration (CIPM or CIHRM) due to the recent circular circular by the head of service that all officers in MDA must be certified in order to advance from grade level 13 to grade level 14. she thought of going for her MPA and then for her certification simultaneously and currently she is in grade level 10 Note: I have told her to go for the certification since already has her masters degree and later put in for her PhD instead. |

Just hours after announcing the departure of their current manager Xavi Hernández at the end of the season, Barcelona have already taken the decisive steps to secure a deal with their new boss: former Bayern Munich and manager Hansi Flick will become the Blaugrana ’s next first team head coach, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. Hansi Flick becomes new Barcelona head coach, confirmed and here we go! The agreement has been completed, worked and now approved by his agent Pini Zahavi on a two year deal. Contract until 2026. Understand Flick will bring two German assistants as part of his staff. — Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) May 24, 2024 Romano reports that Flick will sign a full two-year deal instead of the one-year agreement with an option for a second season that was initially reported by Catalan outlets, but we won’t get confirmation on that particular piece of information until the announcement is made. Flick came onto the scene when he took over at Bayern after the sacking of Nico Kovac in 2019 and went on to have wild success, winning the Sextuple in 2020 which included the infamous 8-2 win over Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-finals. Hansi went on to have a lot less success as the Bundestrainer , however, failing to get out of the group stage in the 2022 World Cup and getting sacked by after just 12 wins in 25 matches during his two years in charge. Flick has reportedly been very interested in the Barça job since Xavi Hernández first announced his departure in January, and he’s now president Joan Laporta’s bet to turn things around after a miserable season on the pitch for the Blaugrana. The official announcement of Hansi’s appointment is expected shortly after the final match of the season, Sunday’s La Liga finale away to Sevilla. source;https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2024/5/24/24163940/barcelona-reach-complete-agreement-with-hansi-flick-to-become-new-manager |

The worst-kept secret in Barcelona land is now official: Xavi Hernández will not continue as first team head coach in the 2024-25 season and will be coaching his final game on Sunday in the La Liga finale against Sevilla, the club announced on Friday. Here is the full statement from the club on the decision to sack their legendary midfielder: “On Friday, FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta has informed Xavi Hernández that he will not be continuing as first team coach in the 2024-25 season. The meeting happened at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper and was also attended by sporting vice-president Rafa Yuste, director of sport Anderson LuĂs de Souza, Deco, Xavi, Ă’scar Hernández and Sergio Alegre. FC Barcelona wishes to thank Xavi for his work as coach, as well as for his inimitable career as a player and as team captain, and wishes him every future success in the world. Xavi Hernández will be coaching the team for the last time in Sunday’s game away to Sevilla. During the course of the next few days, FC Barcelona will be making an announcement regarding the new first team structure.” Source: FC Barcelona Xavi’s replacement is widely expected to be former Bayern Munich and manager Hansi Flick, who has according to several reports reached agreement on a one-year contract with an option for a second season and will be officially announced as first team manager early next week. Xavi departs after 142 official games and two titles during his two-and-a-half-year stint as first team coach, playing a crucial role in the club’s rebuild after taking over from Ronald Koeman and winning La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup in his first full season as manager. Xavi failed to replicate the same success this season and announced in late January that he would be leaving the club at the end of the campaign, only to reverse his decision during a stretch of great results in March and April. But a painful Champions League elimination at home to Paris Saint-Germain and a brutal defeat in El Clásico that handed the La Liga title to Real Madrid restarted the rumors of Xavi’s job possibly being in jeopardy. Things then took a turn for the worse when Xavi spoke in a press conference last week and according to several reports angered president Joan Laporta with his comments about Barça’s lack of investment in the squad due to their financial issues, and the club chief was determined to part ways with the coach and quickly moved on to making his decision official. Xavi’s departure has certainly not been handled nearly as well as it should have, but we finally have clarity in the situation and can be grateful to a legend who accepted a really difficult job in the most turbulent period in the club’s history and gave everything he had until the end. Now Barça officially move on without Xavi next season, and sporting director Deco is expected to make several changes to the squad in the summer in addition to the likely hiring of Hansi Flick. source;https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2024/5/24/24163854/official-barcelona-to-part-ways-with-xavi-hernandez-as-first-team-manager-at-end-of-season |
