What does the future holds for this two chaps in Nigeria where the jobs meant for them have been politicized by our politician whose relatives have no such background as the omoluabi twins?

The question is this: do the majority of us here in Nigeria really have peace? Or do we just have different problems?

Yes, the US system does keep you running. But the Nigerian system keeps you running too - its just that its a different kind of running.

The USA isn't anywhere near a model to hold up as a template for balanced, fulfilled living. That country is actually living on borrowed time. But there is still a system that has some rules at least. You just have to know what those rules are.

Nigeria also has a 'system'...but the capriciousness of that system will upend you one time, every time.

I have some simple rules I try to live by here in Nigeria: avoid will all your might, anything that will take you to the police station, the courtroom or the medical emergency room. The odds are against you from the get go. Avoid these places and one may, one just may get the peace we are all looking for.

👍 vital rules
Avoid court rooms, police & hospitals

Eagles that play different roles for club & country tend to have problems
Or eagles whose position got changed while their career progressed tend to have problems in the national team

1. Iwobi started as a winger at Arsenal but plays as a creative midfielder for Nigeria
2. Iheanacho was a creative midfielder in his u17 days but played as a striker for man city
3. Boniface was a midfielder coming up but is a striker today

Going to be hard to get Iwobi to do what he does at Fulham if he’s played as a CAM
We have too many wingers already
We have no CAM - Aribo & Bashiru are the only alternatives and they don’t play that role very well

Have seen some his games this season with Wrexham. The championship is better than the Nigerian and South African league by miles. Arthur Okonkwo is a top goalkeeper with amazing qualities.
Akinsanmiro Ebenezer is good enough for the SE at the moment even though he plays in seria B. He is developing rapidly and he will better our squad.
I am of the opinion that a player who is good enough and can add depth to our squad be given a chance in respective of where they play.

Eric Chelle has 2 games in the unity cup and a friendly game with Russia in June to perfect his tactics.

Nwabali, Okoye and Okonkwo should battle it out for 1st choice.
There’s no metrics to judge if Championship is better than Belgian league or South African league
This is no fact plus the pressure in African tournaments is just different
Please that South Africa took out a decent Moroccan side with some stars in Europe in the last AFCON tournament
I’d have preferred Noah Atubolu, but I guess he’s waiting for call up
Who will Akinsanmiro replace lol ?
Ndidi ?
Onyeka ?
Bashiru/Aribo ?
Iwobi ?
These are the 4 midfielders that usually make the list
I don’t see NFF slot inviting Alhassan anymore because of Zimbabwe draw

Eric Chelle must give Arthur Okonkwo of Wrexham a chance in the unity cup to prove his mettle.

He is young and impressive in goal.
Wow super eagles should open the doors to championship players ?
Especially when Iheanacho was dropped
I doubt Akinsanmiro even makes the cut
Is Arthur okonkwo really that good ?
Coach has just two games to experiment with before picking his team

Okoye had all the advantages than Nwabali, reason why Rohr left Nwabali and co in NPFL and brought regional keeper to eagles.

I followed Okoye career keenly and in Udinese right from the moment he seized it against Cagliary in Copa cup and never looked back.

Good that we have Nwabali and Okoye

Nwabali is my pick
Will Noah Atubolu choose to play for Nigeria?
That’s the goalie that may be better than these guys

I think Chelle should play his regular 4-4-2 against Rwanda at home & then surprise the South Africans with 3-4-3 away
This will stun them, they won’t adapt to it until late in the game grin
I believe 3-4-3 shields our defense

There is no Perfect goal keeper. No matter how good a goal keeper he must concede goals if he has a thin wall of defense and that has been our major challenge. To win a game will be dependent on your ability to outscore your opponent for a weak defense or to have a good defense with a defensive midfielder on shielding the back for.For the Eagles to soar Onyeka, dele bashiru and Uche must be included in the next round of qualifiers for a very stable and well balanced super eagles team
I’d include Uche in the front 3 if we play 3-4-3
He plays a much more offensive role for his club than in the middle of the park
I’d drop Simon & probably bring him on 2nd half
We really need fighters & players that can impose themselves in games against a well coordinated South African team
That game would probably be Eagles toughest game this year because it’s on their soil
Boniface is not an impactful player in the super eagles
He’s got the physique going on for him but boy is not performing

And one has played 23 games and conceding 20 goals so far 2024/2025 season cool
What sort of logic is this ?
If you like be Buffon, Cassilas, Nueur or Courtois
If youve got Enyimba players in front of you, playing against much better teams you will be more exposed & concede regularly
To me it’s better he’s exposed to all sorts in club level, than make the errors in national team
You really think statistics tell the complete tale ?
Chippa United is not a great team
Okoye had his chance, he didn’t take it
Others too will get their chance if they’re better than Nwabali
Uzoho is also gone because he’s just not good enough too
That position is a delicate one
There’s no time for too many errors in national team football
Dude also won the hearts of Nigerians against SA in Afcon, those penalty saves sealed that spot for him. What has Okoye done to deserve number 1 spot ?
It’s not like he’s playing for man Utd or something lol
Udinese is a mediocre club in Italy
I thought he was gonna give us reasons against Rwanda why he deserves to be the number 1 but we lost that game
Nwabali appears to be the more composed goalie, he’s also comfortable with the ball on his feet. Every player needs to fight for their spot

So what options do African American women have? Na so e toff for Black women to marry in the US? shocked
Baby mama culture is what our women will become if our society was fully liberal & you allow women totally choose who they wish to be with, without family interference
They love play boys, drug dealers, swag, gang bangers, dudes with all sorts of tattoos etc
Basically households with no fathers
A large percent of those liberal people sleep around, they don’t take religion, marriage, culture seriously until when they’re old/unattractive
Women with multiple baby daddies etc
Look up hybristophilia if you think I’m lying
I’m not saying this doesn’t exist in Nigeria, but our patriarchal society largely minimizes this

There is no husband in Nigeria, Tinubu's destroyed economy has rendered many young men financially useless, so dear Miss Okoli, I hope you are ready to be the breadwinner of your marriage? No sensible, ambitious man will even take you serious after hearing about your irrational decision borne out of laziness, foolishness and stupidity.

That husband that made you leave United States of America where Nursing professionals are highly rewarded to come back to labor foolishly in Nigeria without first setting up a thriving business or investment to fall back on should things go south, you may not find one because most of them are struggling to survive Tinubu's harsh economy.

Time will teach you a hard lesson.

That small dollar you saved that is making you feel like you can survive Tinubu's damaged economy will soon finish, na today? You go soon start Lekki/VI hookup for survival, time will tell.

I suspect she is a lazy girl looking for an easy way out of life, a waste to her family and community that she ought to have helped working in the US as a Nurse angry
She’s made & saved a tangible amount
They don’t owe people there monthly unlike the labour & human rights laws that are non functional here
Nurses are well compensated for their work there, can a regular nurse over here rent a 500k a year clean apartment lol
Lately it appears there’s a paid agenda for this rubbish advising people not to travel out
Her chances of finding a husband here is higher though, it’s due to culture. Black American dudes see through females games and play around too

Man played for money

We want Onyeka & Uche in the team
Nwabali has made 3 obvious errors so far in his Super Eagles career
One against Ivory Coast in Afcon final
One against Zimbabwe in WC qualifier
One against Benin, partly Ndidi’s fault too

Okoye possible two
Against Tunisia & Rwanda

But who is the better goalie you’d be confident in

Based popular demands cheesy shocked

Meanwhile Okoye because Nwabli is culprit and Uche Christiantus over Ndidi cos man is tired.
This a variant of 3-5-2 formation.
Bring on Bafana boys tongue
Okoye is sheet
You will have another goalie that’s shaky at the back like Uzoho
Nwabali is the best we have now
Or that German with Nigerian heritage that saves penalties in Bundesliga’s Freiburg
Ive forgotten his name, look it up
Noah Atubolu
Even Enyeama made some strange mistakes in his time
If you guys like fill in Okoye
You will see blunders
The defense failed to protect the goal in the dying minutes and Nwabali probably lost concentration too against Zimbabwe
Ask the defenders who they prefer at their post and see what they say
You will go back to conceding blunders, at least Nwabali will make an attempt grin
Play Okoye against South Africa lol
The way people hype some players because they were born in Europe ehn
It’s extremely hard for locally born players to cross thé Méditerranian sea, only the lucky & exceptional players get to play in Europe
Some end up going to SA because no opportunities for blacks compared to Europeans
Smh
Just ask how luck & grace found Osimhen at u17, Amunike’s assistant suggested Osimhen
Chukwueze went through shege at the embassy before Villarreal took him in their academy
Smh because Okoye plays at Udinese they automatically believe he’s better than Nwabali in South Africa, jokes on them lol
Balogun, Jordan & Onyedika at the back means playing without steel grin
Onyedika is better offensively, counting on Onyedika to win balls for you tirelessly grin
You will lose this game, not even draw soup
Nwabali brought some form of stability since Ikeme 2015
If you want to replace Nwabali, it should be a better goalie

He didn’t want to be anyones assss licker
He should’ve played for a big club to win trophies; although back then Nigerian players I believe played to escape poverty not necessarily to win a lot of trophies like modern era Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo etc
I believe the mentality wasn’t the same back then compared to these days were stats and trophies are the order of the day
I may be wrong though
