The person who moved this thread to frontpage really tried. The lady in question isn't the least bit affected by the problem since she can afford to be careless with her words. Granted she was provoked, it's no excuse. I wanted to share the experience from us serving in Delta State over unpaid allowances and how they were resolved but it'll be as useless as gold on a pig's snout. Once again, the morning meditations have proved to be a waste of time

It's simply nature. Man's intelligence has the tendency to always skew things that are just the way they are in quest for more understanding. Every creature desires the perfect mate or, at least, a better one of the available choices, particular to his or her taste. From a general point of view, tallness is favoured over shortness, just as fair skin holds an advantage over dark skin.

I am sorry about this reported issue. Please state the step followed in activating the MTN On Demand and the time of activation. I can confirm your line is active on MTN Music Plus which attracts daily, weekly or monthly charges. Thank you.
I dialed *302*100# to request the service and I got confirmation from Zenith bank and MTNOnDemand at about 9:43 am on 11th of October, 2015. I also confirmed my balance after this.
It was much later that day that I discovered the deduction, not from call charges, I assure you. I've been noticing it before, but haven't bothered tracking it before that day.
Please, that MTN Music Plus must have been entered in error. I have no use for it yet, I assure you. I'll be most grateful if you can deactivate it and any other service charging me without my knowledge. Thank you in advance. 08031953936

Please, is there something extra being charged for using MTN On Demand? I've loaded up to #800 worth of airtime from my bank but have noticed most of it gets missing even when I make no calls. The latest happened today. I loaded #100 this morning but couldn't reach the numbers I wanted to call. This evening, I noticed that I have just #14 left. I'ld like to know what happened and to resolve it if it's a problem from there. My number is 08031953936

Sorry for the late reply. You'll hit Agbor first, I think. Then board another bus to Camp.

Welcome Onboard, Delta Kopas. Lets make things happen. I'm a serving Batch A corps member and I prepared this little tip here [ https://nairaland.macsoftware.info/2689400/issele-uku-camp-guide-delta-kopas ] to help you out on your preparations. Feel free to ask questions. You'll get along fine all the same.

Rest Easy. There's this verification you will do towards the end of your service. You can correct mistakes there too if the Camp Officials are not up to it, which may be unlikely

Getting prepared for NYSC Camp may be quite stressful as you aren't quite sure of what to bring or what not to bring.
So, first, let's begin with what not to bother bringing to eliminate stress during the journey and on camp. Most notably, you will have to carry your bag on your head by force once you drop from the bike and jog for quite a distance under the supervision of the field authorities. So, if you carry big bag, you're on your own.

THINGS NOT TO BRING:
1. Too much clothes.
The reality is that you won't need more than four pairs of cloth, including the one you came with. That's for Sunday services and Carnival ALONE. You use your white shirts and shorts almost all the time, and even when you sleep sometimes to beat the 4am rush.

2. White Canvas: You may as well save yourself the stress of buying white canvas because the wet camp ground will ruin it for you. There's this rubber white canvas they sell on camp for #500. You will eventually buy it even if you came with white canvas.

3. Buckets, Plates, Cooler, e.t.c.: All these are available at the Camp Mammy Market at good prices. No need dragging them all the way from home; and don't believe those guys at the Okada park. Things are well-priced in Camp.

4. Mosquito Net: The Camp Grounds are well fumigated before Prospective Corp arrival. Don't waste your time hunting a net. You'ld be lucky to even see a housefly.

5. Laptop, Clipper and Heavy Gadgets: All these will be confiscated at the entrance where your bags will be searched. You'll get it when camp's about to end. For entertainment, don't fret much. You probably won't have time for anything else but very few hours each day with your phone.

THINGS TO BRING FROM HOME
Call-up letter, Statement of result, Green Card, 6 photocopies of each, 12 ports,
White round neck shirts, white shorts (expensive in camp), white socks, cheap wristwatch, sunglasses, torchlight, bathing soap, washing soap, detergent, dettol, bleach, (otherwise, you can patronize laundry services), marker, padlock, bedspread, sponge, towel, powder, casual footwear (slip-on or sandals), waist pouch (the one sold in camp is inferior), cloth hangers, deodorant, hair brush, comb,

THINGS TO BUY AT CAMP MAMMY MARKET
2 Buckets, Plastic Cooler (#200+), spoon, soap dish, bathroom slippers, Cup with cover, Provisions (for you and your friends grin, Notebook and Pen, keyholder,

SOLID ADVICE
1. Everytime you arrive has its advantage and disadvantage. If you arrive early, you'll most certainly get cleared early but you may get the far hostels. If you arrive late, you may become the 759th person on a heart-breaking queue. Your hostel may be close to the parade ground, but all the good bunks and mattresses must have been taken. Best to arrive early. And please, pay #200 from Issele Uku junction to Camp. It's not as far as they claim. People from Polytechnics and Foreign Unis are likely to get cleared faster than those from Nigerian Unis.

2. With as low as #5,000 at hand in the camp, you are good to go. Just mind your spending. You'll be paid #2,500 within the first two weeks and your #19,800 before you leave camp. Just reserve your #19,800 for moving about to your PPA. Delta is very big and expensive to travel in.

3. Water is inconsistent. You have few options. You can pay #50 to bath in the Mammy market bathrooms or battle to get water every single time it comes on. Else, even Dettol + Deodorant won't solve a thing. The same goes for the Toilets. Better you use the market's own.

4. Charging your phones, batteries and power banks on camp isn't an issue. They have outfits for that. Success Charging Stand is one of the reliable guys there.

5. The food on Camp isn't as bad as perceived. Honestly, it isn't bad at all just that pride and availability of cash pushes people to want to spend instead of eating for free. You have 60 usable slots in your meal ticket, all paid for by the FG. Use it wisely.

6. Whatever you do, to buy or take boots and canvas that is a size bigger or slightly more than your leg. The stress of parade will affect your toes if you wear an exact fit.

7. Make sure you with NACC or NCCF for proper information and easy transportation to your PPA. Costs about #3,500. Else, you can check the buses in camp on the last day to see if your employers arranged free transport for you.

8. It is great to participate in camp activities but for the fun of it. Ignore promises of great posting to avoid heartbreak at the end.

9. The soldiers are very friendly, notably John Cena (ironically dark and slim), Pastor Mikky and RSM. Also, Man O' War One Man Squad is another jovial character. Buy Major Anzaku jobs at your own risk

10. HAVE FUN!! Once you reach your PPA, trust me, you will miss camp. There are beauty contests for normal (Miss NYSC), fat (Bold and Beautiful, Mr Macho, Dance Competition, Football competition for guys, Volleyball competition for girls, Carnival, OBS for people with interest in broadcasting services, Meditation writing, etc.

Isn't there any other way to Airforce1? Maybe by mail.....rather than this needless publicity. The OP is really a meddlesome interloper!

In my opinion, the OP is just trying to himself.
Trying to do some sort of 'needless comparison'. It'ld have cost nothing to mail him or give a generic advice to no one in particular. So much for thoughts before action.

Imo state students...smh. I said it the other day and someone was trying to refute my claim
Cc VhatAmazingDude
I used the word 'prototype'. You can't vest the misdemeanours of those guys on the vast majority of the students in Imo.
Experience is the best teacher and I've had experiences with many schools in Imo. I'm not repeating what I was told. I told you what I witnessed.

Ohoooo...im not here to offend any one but the kids in Imo state are the most disrespectful kids ever in Nigeria. I served there so I know, their patents can't even control them..nobody tell me to redeploy sharp sharp

I've taught in five schools in Imo State over four years, so if I beg to disagree, I hope you understand.
However, this crime doesn't fit a secondary school kid. Their evils have templates.
It is possible, but not a prototype crime for an average Imo Student.

Knowing Aboh Mbaise youths and their 'cultist' activities well, I won't put this beyond them.

Can you just hear ur self. You are comparing delta state with a place you have not been to. Where exactly are u serving in delta state that look like 1950s. The problem with some of us is that when they post us to some villages in any state. We use that village to generalize the entire state.

I think anyone with common sense would note that the reason I mentioned 'not being to Osun' first is to point out that this is a straight opinion not hinged on comparison between the two, but your first statement shows how blinded you are to that scenario, spoiling for a fight instead with any who doesn't speak good of Delta State. The '1950' tag is in comparison to where I label 'village' in Imo State. Ndokwa East is where I'm posted. In comparison, my village is a town.
Another error you blindly made is talking about generalizing. If there's anyone who made that error, it is you for not understanding the meaning of 'some places'. Like seriously, you need to do away with sentiments to keep yourself rational.
Finally, I love where I'm serving. It's a challenge to me which I'm willing to face. There's no electricity to speak of, poor network and very difficult accessibility. And the area is one of the 'oil communities', so to say. I intend to use my NEMA hip to good effect there. Above all, the people are excellent in character and hospitality, hence my attraction to them. #EOD.

Now, there's still no federal government compensation (for you). Edit your name to 2019.
