We talking about appointment and not limited to commissioner.

This are Yoruba in El- Rufai Cabinet

Olumuyiwa Adekeye- Special Adviser, Media and Communication

Jimi Adebisi Lawal- Special Adviser, Investment Promotion

Were the special advisers a source of value to his success or not? Or do you pick someone you don't know to be an adviser? If Adebisi and Adekeye didn't position themselves, do you think they'll be appointed?

Be joking and don't add value to whatever you do and mostly, your society or community you find yourself
udeh3(m): 6:49pm On Feb 22, 2023
This question is very silly and out of place

First, elective positions are contested for. Nobody will come beg you to contest for any position. Once you know your records in the community or society you are and have so well paid your dues, it becomes easy to contest and win election anywhere. I contested and won an election in Ekiti State as the General Secretary of National Association of Engineering Students even as a Delta guy against a fellow class mate and an Ekiti indigen

Furthermore, for selective position like commissioner, how impactful are you in your profession, community and the political space in the community you live? It doesn't matter where you're from, make yourself valuable and sell yourself.

In addition, politics is about self positioning. How many yorubas and northerners invest in other states? How many lives there and take the state like their homes? I'm not an Igbo person, but from my observation, these are what an average Igbo man will do. Where I come from in Delta State, I don't know any northerner that have a building over there, not to talk about community development. In PH where I once lived, the Yoruba dominated my area, but how many of them are in politics in the state or LGA? Position yourself rightly, irrespective of where you are and the people will sing your praise into power

Anyone who directly or indirectly endorses a discredited and odious candidate like Tinubu deserves all the insults and curses in the world.

Let's not pretend about this. One has to be mortally evil to endorse such a malady. There's no middle ground.

If you truly want a United NIGERIA, if you truly want a NIGERIA we all we be proud of after the election, you will not be talking about BAT. We'll be talking about Atiku, Obi and the others. Clearly, you've not lived in the north. Please, ask those in the north who are Christians what they're ing through.

Ordinarily, I shouldn't be religious, but as this point, I can't help it. Cos if it's the other way round, a ruling Party championing a Christian/Christian tickets and look like they're going to win, this country would've been on fire by now.

So, why putting the lives of over 200m Nigerains in danger due to one person's quest for power and greed when we can avoid it? I'm after a same faith ticket. It's highly demonic and undemocratic

I can vote for any other candidates, but certainly, not BAT

We deserves better

God bless Nigeria

Many of these protests are politically motivated. Youths, don't be used. If this current FG get hold of you, it's left to you and your family.

Politicians are our worst nightmare. They're wicked and act with impunity while their children enjoys luxuries abroad

Tinubu that claimed he made Uncle Buhari president, knew the kind of disaster Buhari was, but sill went ahead to package him for Nigerians all because of his selfish emilokan ambition.
Is that not wickedness in high places

BAT has always been selfish. This is why he traded his people for his selfish interest. He can the devil just to have his way

I'm still waiting for you to tell us BAT's political portfolio. Instead, you Dodge and brought out fake achievements.

While waiting for you to bring out his political portfolio, let me remind you that achievements are tied to specific names. List out the names of those projects, the amount used in executing it, then the total amount he borrowed during his time as governor. Let me also remind you he was a senator too, list the numbers of bills he sponsored and also had an impact in

I'll be waiting...

My guy, that young man called FreestuffsNG will run. They always hype Tinubu but tell them to reel out Tinubu's achievements, they will start blabbing. If Fashola is contesting today, Tinubu will have nothing to campaign with. I just pray he will be confident enough to reel out his achievements in government.

Boss mi, I've been waiting for him since...

Oga sir, you are being led by the nose sir. Mr Obi is a well respected Nigerian and I have never called him unsavoury names because I respect and appreciate him for stepping forward for leadership. That is where it ends.

When it comes to digging deep on his public service record, it is completely ungodly to attempt to compare or elevate Mr Obi over his former Boss, HE Atiku let alone bring him near Asiwaju Tinubu. Even HE Fashola and Ambode will trump Mr Obi in of public service records.

I just want to beg you to stop rewarding with your those who were mediocre in public service. 3 years from now, Mr Ifeanyi Okowa too will start gunning for Presidency and when he pays the Economist , a foreign newspaper, to do PR and sponsored post for him, you will tell me that they know more. You must think some of us are naive. smh

I'm not even talking about Fashola or any of his strategic soldiers... Bring on BAT and tell us his portfolios in the public service spaces while I roll out that of Obi.

I will be waiting for you

She called him a sperm donor for reasons best known to her.

If she doesn't rate him that much, then I see no reason why she cannot say whatever she wants to him...especially given the fact she said he CHOOSE to be a deadbeat, has only paid child for four months, intentionally refused to go see the boy, even when he has strict and supervised visitation rights, but hasn't made an attempt to see him.

It's crazy given all this (and I believe her because she won the case in the court) that he came online to paint a picture of him being denied access to his child, like for all these years.

I know Tonto is quite the drama queen and temperamental, with an history of controversies, but that post subtlely set her up on social media, hence her reaction.

I know a man has never ed me to see his son, and he goes online to celebrate him and saying stuff like, "I long to see you. I miss you greatly" and then Internet trolls start dragging me as a wikid woman and whatnot?

I don't know what else triggered the rest of her posts about house and feeding and all. It might have been from accumulated pain because of all his lies and claims against her or she's just reliving the experiences...either way, she was triggered and I have nothing against how she decided to respond.

If you were the father, will you a child they've changed and eliminated your name from? So, she knows the boy has a father, then moved to change his name?

Please, address this part as a father

I’ve noticed something that calls my attention.

Is Seun Osewa, the owner of Nairaland, the same as the Seun Osewa of Twitter?

The Seun on Twitter positions himself as a tribalist or chronically ethnocentric individual, who has been fortuitously exposed to education. And sincerely, I’m trying to believe it is not the same person who curates the platform that places Nigeria and the events or occurrences to the world via this medium, Nairaland.

No wonder the strators act in a way that betrays wonders as to if they’re favouring a particular candidate in this election.

If he is reading this, I’ll advise that you realise that as a public figure with a business that endures patronage from Nigerians; north and south, Christians and Muslims alike, it is safe, for you and for your business, to be non-partisan and be seen to be non-partisan. You should be apolitical or pretend to be. Whatever biases or preference you have, please, keep it to yourself and the confines of your private space.

Lastly, like it or not, Mr. Peter Obi’s time is now. It is an idea that has come to stay and nobody; Hausa, Igbo or Yorùbá can kill it.

I had to unfollow him on Twitter. He really disappointed me. Politics will come and go...

You see why APC Governors are right

I can deposit 500K in 5 different bank s making 2.5m meaning old notes is still a legal tender .....since the deadline specified is April 10 . Alternatively if you have individual and corporate s ....500k in each

On the other hand if the above scenario is not plausible because of BVN, instead of depositing it, since there are no new naira notes, I will just spend it .Why should I return them since there is no new naira notes and no deadline. Let continue to recirculate them, CBN want to scam us again. To get old or new notes you pay as high as 20%

Redesign Policy is completely defeated

Am I right or wrong?

All the powers of the President derive from and are provided for by the constitution.

That means all the actions of the President must comply with the constitution and the laws ed by the National Assembly.

So, the current issue is a constitutional issue, which only the Supreme Court can decide. It has to decide whether the President acted within the powers conferred on him by the constitution and laws.

The reason a country has a supreme court (and indeed other courts) is to ensure that the Executive ie., the President, Governors, Ministers etc do not misuse their powers against us, the people.

There is a reason Mr Buhari cannot issue an Executive Order for you to be arrested. That's because the constitution does not give him the power to misuse his orders like that.

Without courts like the Supreme Court, most Presidents would become dictators.

The people must guard the supreme court's authority jealously and not allow any President destroy it for their own personal interest.

So, in the policy of the CBN, did they breach any of the Constitution in delivering their policies? Does the suit include CBN? Furthermore more, is the matter a constitutional matter?

Please, when you make this assertions, always state the various achievements, so we all can . And stop bragging with what no one can see except what Ambode and Fashola did

As a governor, how km of roads where constructed and how much per km
How many schools were constructed and how much in direct proportion to the cost
How many class rooms were renovated and how much
How many hospitals were built and also renovated and at what cost?
Until then, most of us won't take you serious

Since Lagos State was created in 1967, Lagos have always been ahead in of IGR.😆😆

Becareful ooooooohhhhh before they say you're an enemy... Some persons don't know that Lagos was capital for over 30yrs of Nigeria existence. They just talk out of ignorance

The Lagos of 1980 was more beautiful and decent than the Lagos of 2023. Most of the high rise buildings in Marina where already built then. Thank God we have the private real estate developers, now developing the Lekki and the likes

I heard one fellow with questionable character said INEC does not have cash for elections

I WANt TO EMPHASIZE THAT INEC DOES NOT NEED CASH FOR THE ELECTIONS

Except the complainant want to steal some of the cash, EVERY INEC staff and every one who renders any service to INEC should be paid through their bank

INEC doesn't need any cash for operation. Any contractor or sub contractor, upon contract signed, indicate your details and the said money will be forwarded via transfer. Enough of cash...

We must be intentional to solve and push out corruption from our electoral system

We're going cashless

udeh3(m): 9:16am On Feb 14, 2023
Well, I have said this before, I'll say it again... When you vote BAT base on ethnicity and he wins, just know that, it has almost ended for the Yoruba race. Speaking as a Deltan, the South South will naturally now start ing the South East. This is just the fact

He told his people not to meet the people from the East, that they don't matter during the primaries. Those ing him from the south or east are actually ing him for selfish interest. For equity sake, if we must save Nigeria first, then an Igbo presidency will calm the tension in the land

Even if we're going by Competence, he's not even close there...

Sue the bastard hospital. This is the madness we're trying to curb. Let our economy go cashless. Some Nigerians are too dumb

In addition, your mental health is important. Guide it with all jealousy.

Furthermore, don't lower your boxes on the type or kind of guy you want. Stick to your boxes, be prayerful and very sensitive. Surely, the right person will come
