What if the "grandmother, mechanic, gateman" tried their luck by applying regardless of the requirements
mosgoon:
don't want to go into details but you omitted LOTS of variables that makes your estimation above wrong. That aside, your estimation is also satisfying Jarus' clause of ''grandmother, mechanic , gateman'' as you have no curtains on your estimation

Statistically, as at Q3, 2018, number of persons in the labour force is 90.5m.
Unemployed (working less than 20hours a week) is 20.9m
Underemployed is 18.21m
Employed is 51.3m
From the data above, it's statistically possible.
Considering the fact that the "employed" also applied.
NB: I'm not confirming that 25.6 applied to NNPC.
Jarus:
It is statistically impossible except my grandmother, my mechanic and my gateman also applied.

What does it mean for an application to through a portal?
souljar:
This is the page I read. It says "...25.6m ED THROUGH THE PORTAL..." before it was officially closed.
But English is not our native language so maybe I don't understand.

He said "an" aptitude test, not shell
mosgoon:
For shell, who said so or in what context did you hear about the october resumption. They've been shockingly and surprisingly slow about their process. I would be very very glad if you are right as it would make decisions easier for me.
Aptitude test/personality test ? isn't it all done online? and that stage has been ed for over a month
You can answer me on the shell thread if you want.

LOCAL MEN AND WOMEN.
Please lets decode this case scenario ;
I and other 6 guys dat graduated from same university, same state and same year were interviewed on 4th, 9am.
6 of us graduated with 2:1, while the 7th guy was an overall best 1st class student from his department.
6 of us all got alert on tue 22/08, wen 4th was massively paid.
The 7th guy( best graduating student of his department) hasn't been paid the TP allowance uptill naw dat i spoke with him.
I'm jst shaking as i'm writing, pls any theorist to extract something meaningful from this piece.
NB: What ever the situation i don't care, what i knw is dat i'm very optimistic of receiving my APL by God grace.

Mass wave of 11th! I doubt
joobseekar:
Well, starting from 16th, we've had 6 "Wednesdays" now. Assuming each day is being paid per week, that means, 6 days out of 9/10 days already.
I know the mass wave of 2nd, 6th, 8th and 11th.
I've seen/heard dates of 1st, 3rd, and 4th being paid.
I'm yet to see/hear that of 5th, 9th and 10th.

I will quote this post when I get my APL
Grace to do the unusual!
holujay:
Very funny u....I understand u bae, going by some people's records here, one easily finalises they merit d job and their APL is undeniable...I'd find my self in this submission too...
But I'd end up within me that this race isn't for the very swift neither is the battle for the strongest...but to God that showeths mercy...yes, I'd believe many will win the battle on the record of merits/previous achievements, yet, I'd also believe that many will win the battle to be a clear testament to God's mercy
NB: When mercy speaks, protocols/records are broken.
Peace unto everyone that acknowledges his/her inadequacies but yet clinges to the infinite mercy of our Lord

The contradiction is in your first post where you deduced that TP is subject to s submission of reports to the "paying officers."
Go check it out bro
CsRockefeller:
Read up my initial post. I concluded by saying the process is still ongoing, some s have not concluded their reports for onward transmission to the paying officers hence the batch payment.
Where is the contradiction?
|
Twhizzy2: 1:29pm On Aug 02, 2019 |
Why are you contradicting yourself?
CsRockefeller:
I don't even think the process has been concluded, it's less than a month since the final person was interviewed, even Big private firms aren't that quick.
Remove emotions and think deeply, there is no relationship between APL and payment.
I was paid by Farouk, but if I don't want to be emotional and be objective, I can deduce that the process is still on and no relationship at all.

Do you think NNPC will go through the stress of asking someone to pay successful candidates while other person pay unsuccessful candidates? When it is not as if there is variation in the amount paid to both parties, like amount paid to successful differs from unsuccessful. What do they stand to gain?
CsRockefeller:
Having worked in the Bank and as an up and coming ant, using the trend, postulation, hypothesis and all sorts here, these are my submissions.
1. NNPC has decided to use an unorthodox method in selecting the successful candidates, especially given it was a subjective interview involving thousands of candidates.
2. NNPC sent us text and mails concerning the interview, was it not done simultaneously? Was there a delay of more than a day amongst recepients? Which leads me to the next point.
3. NNPC has one of the best database any organisation can have (reason being they have the resources) Their IT department is up and doing, the only detail that was missing during the point of registration is our Bank details right?
What then would it cost them (time and money) to collate our Bank data (reconcile it with their database) group everyone according to Bank, send to the ing department then to the respective Banks for simultaneous pay. If at all some people didn't receive on the day, it should have been few with discrepancies in their name or number. Mind you, Banks process payment for Civil/Public workers of various States and Government institutions in less than 2 days (that's if they are really busy).
The process came to an end on the 10th and first payment came on the 16th (mind you, the details of everyone was vetted each day immediately after the interview, so there was no back log. The details of the first day, were vetted the next day and so on.)
So, they had the opportunity to pay everyone at once, everyone, but what then did they do? Pay in batches, now this is the catch and d big question. It's the final piece missing in this Jigsaw.
The hypothesis of someone fixing it in a Fixed Deposit doesn't hold water, if it were true, the pay wouldn't have come as quick as it came.
These are my final thoughts;
1. Each 29 or 39 s had numbers of candidates allotted to them, some where more busy than the others. My had a minus of 2 persons on my interview day, perhaps, they were less busy and so submitted their report early, which led me to being among the first batch of payees paid by Mr Farouk.
I think NNPC can't pay until some s are through with their submissions, hence the batch payment, some s might have not concluded on their submissions.
If u recall, some of the are extremely busy people and some flew in just because of this process.
This is my submission.
