I saw some guys around Eko hotel the other day dressed up as females in a very disgusting manner that suggested they were male prostitutes.

Yes, indecent dressing among both genders is becoming a real issue in society today.

One of my boys, an artisan of modest means lost his mum and told me he plans to keep her in a mortuary until September to do a burial.

This is a person who had struggled to foot his mum's medical bills and he really tried beyond his capacity to spend close to 7m on her medical bills alone.

I adviced him to just do a simple burial and to do it sharperly instead of struggling to waste money that he doesn't have to impress people who do not care about him or his late mum.

Hopefully, he listens sha

They just buried him... Not that there won't be funeral for him.

You can see the son said they will announce the funeral later

At least he has started something useful to address the wasteful and utterly unnecessary practice of drama and waste for someone who has already died.

What is the party for? To celebrate not having him anymore?

Someone said it is a celebration of life... well. That may be valid but is the waste, drama and sometimes, even fighting and bickering necessary?

When I first experienced a situation where a very rich man still had to keep his dead father in the mortuary for close to a year, to build a new mansion before giving him a 'befitting' burial, I shock!!!

I think people should only be given a befitting burial if they have been given a befitting life!

No be when hungry finish person dem go come sell land to do burial for.am.

So,what was his Contributions to Nigeria Development?
This is one of the Northern appointment's - to occupy the Nigeria trajectory and nothing more!

He was a professor of medicine who excelled at university of ibadan medical school which was one of the best globally at a point in time.

Mr. Southerner, is that also a northerner appointment?

You talk as if being a southerner has an intrinsic value and you dont need to develop your mind just because you are from the south.

Has the south not always been led by southern governors? If they are inherently brilliant, honest, moral and competent, why is there nothing to show in southern Nigeria like every other region?

Ofcourse, apart from brainwashed lowlifes who suffer from incurable superiority complex based on just being born into a tribe and region.

Professor Jibril Aminu stands out by any metrics you want to use but of course, he is not from the south and therefore all his achievements fade.

This is his profile. Cany you put up the profile of your own father? I say this because he is a father to some of us and we know him as a very morally upright human being... of course he is human not a super human from southern Nigeria:

Prof. Jibrin Aminu was born in August 1939. He graduated in medicine from the University of Ibadan in 1965, and holds a Ph. D in Medicine from the Royal Post-Graduate Medical School.

Mr. Aminu as consultant, senior lecturer and sub-dean of Clinical Studies at the University of Ibadan Medical School from 1973 -1975, Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission, NUC from 1975–1979, visiting Professor of Medicine at Howard University College of Medicine in Washington DC from1979–1980, and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri, 1980-1985. He was also Professor of Medicine at the University of Maiduguri from1979–1995.

Mr. Aminu held office as Minister of Education and later Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources (1989–1992).

He was Nigerian Ambassador to the USA from 1999–2003 and was elected Senator for Adamawa Central constituency in May 2003 and re-elected in 2007.

He mentored many outstanding Nigerians who have gone ahead to excel in various facets of life.

People will born children and instead of training them to be responsible citizens and reasonable human beings, they will brainwash them with hatred and bile. A child born from nowhere feels qualified to insult any outstanding personality whose achievements they can never ever smell. And they feel justification to insult people even when they without considering the pain and grief of the families. But what do I expect

People whose whole lineage have achieved nothing and are absolutely nothing would come out an insult any Nigerian who is not from their region and their justification is that the person is not a southerner.

Is there a prequalification for being born into a region or tribe in Nigeria.

I used to think it is just an accident of nature and not because the creator selected the best breeds to be born and originate from the south.

Professor Jibril Aminu was an outstanding Nigerian who excelled brilliantly in his life and career. He made impact on lives of people from all over Nigeria and africa.

No fool can reduce his life and achievements to a just his being a northerner that hates southerners.

People cannot inherit hated and bile from their bigoted parents about a people and a region and still come here with moral grandstanding about northerners being inferior to them.

Worst still their only achievements in life is being born from southern Nigeria as if that gives any inherent value.

He was Minister of Education that closed most universities in the South of Nigeria for 5 months in 1989 and was happy for that to be 12 months because of protest. Maybe he believed that would help the North catch up

In everything he was an enemy to southern Nigeria

I still insist that this post is tribal, sectional and evil.
It was an insult to the memory of a great Nigerian made without any proofs.
Yet the bigoted s and "thought police" on this forum would allow it but they would exercise their 'god' powers to delete a post that rebuts the evil post made by bigoted southerners with a moral and superior complex.

Are leaders from southern Nigeria in any way better than those from other parts of Nigeria?
If so then why are their regions and states still under developed in Nigeria?

Let your tribal attack dogs provide proof to the allegations that they made. Is that not a reasonable ask?

Hypocrites ...

Looking at the country that we are, with millions without job, can you take up the job of a domestic staff for a high profiled politician like a governor, senator etc in the country?

you are a graduate. Might even be a masters holder or Ph.D.

For me, I would gladly take it because I can achieve a lot in less than 5 years than someone who put in 35years in state or local government civil service.

I know a domestic staff to a former governor who has built 3 houses already. Someone in civil service after 20 years hasn't bought a land yet.

I say this with a very heavy heart - IT IS THE WOMEN WHO INSIST OF SEXUALIZING THEMSELVES, against advice of men.

Please tell me what over 95% of women show in their dressings, dances, behaviors, and even their speech, etc?

Check online hookup apps where people intentionally and willingly under no compulsion, create profiles to prostitute themselves- how
many women do you see there actively marketing their wares.

Unfortunately, even the speaker herself is only known for sexualizing herself, what else can she offer the world?

Why do women spend billions of money worldwide to do BBLs?? to appear decent? To desexualize themselves? Why

They are talking about his works

He is a Nobel Prize winner. You expect him to still write in 2025? To impress you? Who you be? cheesy

Who cares about his writing if he is morally fluid?

He has destroyed his legacy with tribal jingoism when he selectively calls out leaders that are not from his tribe.

If you know the history of how he went to collect/ betray that Nobel prize even when all other African writers had agreed to boycott the Nobel prize ceremony in protest of the apartheid in South Africa then you will understand my context about his morality!

I am expecting a to ban my response because I have called soyinka out for moral inconsistency!

I saw this tweet by Erigga and it hit deep.

“I was with him when he was drinking garri.”
But na you buy the garri? 🤨

Let’s unpack this mindset that’s becoming very common in our generation.

🧠 The “Loyalty” Women Talk About Today is Not Real

Many women love to say they were there when you had nothing.
But truth is, a lot of them were just witnesses, not builders.

They didn’t help.
They didn’t invest.
They didn’t even believe in you—they were just hoping for a return on their emotional “time.”

It’s all about positioning themselves for the future harvest without ever planting seeds.

📌 Presence ≠ Participation

There’s a clear difference between being present and being useful.

Ask yourself:

Did she contribute to your hustle?

Did she with money, ideas, motivation?

Or did she just sit there… waiting?

Too many women want to claim royalty status for just hanging around during your broke phase.

💭 Real Loyalty is Silent

The girl who actually bought the garri isn’t the one tweeting.
She’s the one you when you finally blow—because she didn’t make noise, she made impact.

Loyalty is:

Showing up consistently.

Investing (not just emotionally, but tangibly).

Praying, planning, building with you.

But most of what you see now is emotional blackmail masked as .

⚠️ Men, Stop Rewarding ive Loyalty

Your success is not community property.
If she didn’t grind with you, she shouldn’t reap with you.

Let’s break it down clearly:

If What She Did is to make you feel Encouraged, ed, sacrificed then sje deserves Respect & loyalty
If What She Did is Invested in your dream then What She Deserves is Return on value
But if she Complained, watched, tolerated you then she deserves Nothing but silence 😐

💬 Final Thoughts

Let this sink in:

🧾 Presence without contribution is just observation.
And observers don’t get trophies.

So next time a woman says, “I was with you when you were drinking garri”, calmly ask:

“Did you buy am for me?”

Because sitting on the sideline doesn't make you a teammate.

What do y’all think?
Have you experienced this?
Drop your thoughts and share with someone who needs this reminder. 🧠🔥

She did not leave a mansion to come and you in single room and to drink garri.

You were absolutely the very best option she could find otherwise, she would have left you.

But most women think that just by their existence alone, they are doing you and the world a favor for being born a woman.

That is why they still expect a settlement after being in a relationship where the man feeds, clothes and shelters her and literally, caters for her life.

A woman feels spending time with a man in a relationship is a favour done to the man.

The worst part is that this grandeur illusion and delision is without exception in the minds of most women.

And simpish men have caused and contributed to this delusional deiitification of non-value adding females, the world over. It does not even matter ugly, poor, badly behaved and dumb they are, in their mind they are the epitome of beauty, wealth and character. Men should always bow down and worship the ground that they walk on!

I wish I can be this insanely delusional embarassed angry grin grin
