My Oga's at the Top..... I studied ing (B.sc) and have some years banking experience.... Please what are the requirements for me to apply for Australian skilled worker? Pls help a baby biko
toslad: 6:39pm On Oct 29, 2018
That is not entirely correct. I am an Internal auditor and I got positive assessment outcome as both Ext. Auditor and ant.

Please check the skill required for both and compare with what you do. I am sure you will find some similarities.

sirgigs:

it's a state university.

And the job of an ant with that of an Ext Auditor are very different from that of an Internal Auditor so I cannot select those.

Abeg advise

First of all, which school did you finish from? This is fundamental if you are assessing with Vetassess.

The other option is to assess as either Ext. Auditor or
Gen. ant. These are assessed by ICAA, A and IPA.

sirgigs:
Help!!!

I am an Internal Auditor but this while stuff is getting more difficult;

Only NSW nominates my course and only 2 regions participate;

Far South Coast
And

Orana ( which is temporary closed)

I am just confused if to continue with a likely score of 80

Take immediate reverse back to where you are coming from! The odds are in your favour on that side.

bolarinnwa:
Hello All,

I'm just peeping from the Canadian thread, it wont be bad to get more informed about this Aussie journey. 25 years, Bsc in Sociology, 1 year nysc experience as a teacher, 1 year as a legal assistant, 1 year as an istrative assistant. in total 3 years work experience.I'm single,and IELTS score of 8,7,7.5,7,7.5.

I think a colour scan copy will do. That is what I used for ICAA, so I think it should work for A too.

Alexxiss:
Hello everyone. I need your help please.

One of the required documents for A assessment is "Official Academic Transcipts". My question now is
1) Must the transcript be sent by the awarding body(OAU) to the assessing body(A), or
2) would it be okay to my copy to the online application?

Thank You.
toslad: 6:06am On Jun 07, 2018
Your chances are 'high' if your syllabus covered the required areas by the assessing bodies. Please go to their site and check if the courses you studied are in sync with what they required.

I know people without ICAN or ACCA who got positive assessment outcomes but I recently read of someone who got negative. So please go through the sites - CAANZ, A or IPA thoroughly.

Joyce2020:
Please ants in the house ,what chance do I have of being evaluated positively with only a bsc degree from a state university without any certification from ACCA or Ican?
toslad: 6:01am On Jun 07, 2018
Hello Godisgracious,

I feel you should be the principal applicant though you can also get points from partners' assessment since both of you are ants.

You can use your 5 years experience from your previous employer if you can get reference letter or get a statutory declaration of employment. Your bsc alone should fly if your syllabus covers all required areas. Please check the CAANZ or A sites. I assessed with CAANZ.

Good morning @joyce2020, we all (ants) had to send syllabuses of our degree studies to CAANZ.

Joyce2020:
OK thank you. I pray I get answers soon. I am trying to send my documents to CAANZ for ing assessment and one of the documents required is a copy of my syllabus for each course . pls did anyone send something like this ?

toslad: 9:05am On May 21, 2018
I am not sure how HND plus ATS would count but if you are going to assess your BSc, you may not get points for work experience. It is quite dicey but you have nothing to lose if you send all your documents to CAAnz for assessment.

My opinion though.

safex:
Good evening house. I need guidance on how to go about this immigration. I have ICAN ATS 2010, HND ancy 2012 (no ND), BSc ing 2017 & ICAN ACA 2012.
With 4+ years of professional experience, what is my fate? Though I have done a rough assessment and I scored 60 points.
toslad: 6:57am On May 17, 2018
Yes ICAA is same as CAAnz. As per your earlier question, I would prefer the person assesses ACCA as I am not very sure about ICAN.

@praiseisgood, was your ICAN assessed mine wasn't mentioned in my assessment outcome with ICAA?

jayooh:

Thank

2) in know AA, but ICAA is it same as CAANZ?

I think IPA is the last of them all

You are not alone brotherly. Some of us still dey re-strategising. Have you considered 489 as an option? Just in case you still find the English difficult. I don't have Yoruba accent like that but I haven't been able to get 79 in Speaking with PTE but you never can tell. With more practice you may subdue the PTE mountain.

Sorry I am just seeing this. Painfully many of us are seeking nomination to get 489. The other option is port to Cannie. Maybe others can also advise.

There is no special requirement for 489 other than applying to states sponsoring/nominating ant. Trust you have done your English test and assessed your skill and qualification.

I think both qualification and experience should form the basis of being assessed positively but what is the issue with his experience?

FCCA2012:

@bellong thanks
I assessed with ICAA as a general ant and he is also an ACCA and we will want to use ICAA for his assessment. Though, I am aware that ICAA also assesses only qualification BUT my doubt is if he MUST assess his working experience before I can claim partners point ?

TEEJAYtj, I am not sure you did the certification exam. What you probably did was the training and a mock exam.

Google PMP certification (PMI) and get full details to be sure.

Thank you.

pls Wat about project management professional.?

I was also in Ikogosi recently. I was also not very impressed by what I saw but intrigued by the history (myth) behind the place - the hot water being a hot tempered wife while the cold water was the cool tempered wife! I went on a Saturday, so we had a tour guide. I didn't know about tour guides not been available on Fridays though.

A guy came all the way from Lagos only to get some water, claiming he uses it in his lab. It was one of the places I desired to go and I was glad I did. Not very impressed but nice place.

@TOSLAD,

Which school did you graduated from in Nigeria? The Australian PR journey has really put out a lot of ants just like me. I await your response.

Thank you.
toslad: 5:10pm On Feb 22, 2018
I am not sure if assessing with CA ANZ will make any difference. I assessed with them and my ICAN wasn't considered but my first degree was assessed as equivalent to Australian BA. I will just advise that you go through your school's syllabus and CA ANZ website to be sure the courses you did are in sync with those required.

Truly, I feel for we ants/Auditors but if you can afford it, a shot at Canada won't be a bad idea as ants are in 'demand' there.

It is well.

[quote author=zibe post=65278963]Hi Guys, I'm currently in a confused state. Maybe those that have assessed as ants and auditors would be able to advise me better on the way forward with the below.
