Oem18: This is actually not the reason the Gen 2 is more expensive. The market is just looking for a reason, hence this narrative. I have and sell both too, my Gen 3 is 590 and Gen 2 is 630k. Prices will re-adjust in the comings weeks/months. |

psalmsjob: You're more interested in politics than actual facts. Again you miss the whole point even more. You can go as far back as 1970, it's the same trend. The the naira has CONSISTENTLY lost it's value/purchasing power. How is that difficult to grasp when the numbers are staring you in the face. But you fail to see that because everything is APC vs PDP in your sight. |

psalmsjob: You miss the point. It doesn't matter whether we spend dollar or not. It's just used as a benchmark so show you that the naira has been consistently losing value. Put it against any relatively stable currency, indices or commodity, you'll see the same trend. You can compare with it gold, you can compare it even with the price of wheat or oil or corn. Same thing. Naira has been losing value, that's the point |

Clevite: I'm glad, at least you think my argument is AI spec. Second time I'm hearing that this week. Yes, separation of powers grants the legislature autonomy in its internal affairs, I mentioned that. But, this autonomy is not absolute. Section 6, vests judicial power in the courts, including the authority to interpret laws and resolve disputes between branches of government or between individuals and the state. Courts can intervene when a legislative action is alleged to violate constitutional rights or exceed legal boundaries, even if it originates from internal proceedings. The question is whether the Senate’s probe infringes on Senator Natasha’s rights or breaches legal norms, which is exactly what her legal challenge likely claims. What you said is impossible has already been done anyways. The hearing was suppose to start 2pm today, according to Sen. Neda Imasuen (committee chairman on ethics and privileges) and I have credible information that it has been halted. |

underpinna: temitope27: Clevite: Maxymilliano: Yes, the court has the right to stop the Senate Committee from probing Senator Natasha, based on its power of judicial review and its responsibility to address potentially unlawful or unconstitutional actions. The final legitimacy of this decision will depend on the details of the case, which would be clarified through further judicial proceedings. This is an interim order, meaning it is a temporary measure while the court further reviews the case. This is a common judicial practice when there is a need to prevent potential harm or injustice before a final ruling is made. This intervention does not necessarily mean the matter is fully resolved. The Senate could appeal the decision, potentially leading to a broader legal dispute about the balance of power between the judiciary and the legislature. For now, though, the court's authority to step in aligns with its role in upholding the rule of law and ensuring that legislative actions comply with constitutional and legal standards. |
