I'm willing to go to the UK on same visa route, tier 4 dependent visa.
My question is as at April 23, when i started the process i was suppose to need 3.2m in my as POF (6120. 9months maintenance fee for outside london) but i had 3.5m to be safe, and the is 21 days gone and now exchange rate has increased and amount needed has also increased to 3.7m, the question is can i top up my with the deficit and continue counting from that 23rd or i will have to start counting 28days from scratch again?

If you top up your bank to make up your balance, you need to start counting the 28days again.

I would suggest that you pay additional fees to your school.

If you need to add 250k to your POF as a result of the new exchange rate, pay this amount to your school. This way your POF is still intact and you don't need to start counting 28days again.

This happend to me in 2018, though I had received my CAS, I still went ahead to pay additional fees and included the receipt in my application, Also I printed a copy of the email I received from my school stating my Fees has been received and it will be updated.

I'm not going for school. I'm going on a spousal Visa. The rate just reduced today, can i pay top up today and continue counting or i will have to start all over again.
