After a long wait, NYSC has finally released the mobilization timetable for 2024 Batch B. I know you are mostly concerned about the registration date which is penned down to be between June 18 - 16th, 2024.

1. Exemption is processed automatically by NYSC for those above service age. If you are above 30 years, just once portal opens and leave the rest to NYSC.

2. There is no official date yet. I'll announce whenever there is.

The date of birth on NIN doesn't matter. NYSC draws your DOB from your record on JAMB.

You already quoted the answer but if what you're trying to say is that you have different DOBs on JAMB and NIN and would prefer to use your date of birth on NIN, sorry cos that's not going to happen.

NYSC uses the DOB on JAMB.

There is no need to worry even if what you have on NIN conflicts with your date of birth on JAMB. The statement above is applied.

NYSC 2024 BATCH 'B' UPDATES

📌 As seen on the NYSC 2024 calendar, camp opens for batch B on June 26, 2024.

📌 The above is a tentative date which means NYSC can decide to change it.

📌 There is no official date yet for online registration. I will communicate it whenever there is.

📌 If you were shifted to Batch B, wait for your call-up letter, which will be released a few days before orientation camp opening.

📌 If you were deployed in Batch A Stream II but didn't report to camp, you will need to revalidate for batch B once registration portal opens.

📌 Most schools will still mobilize eligible graduates for batch B. These PCMs will once the portal opens. Those planning to should follow up on their schools so they don't miss out on internal activities.

📌 Foreign-trained PCMs who ed and underwent physical verification but haven't been deployed will be deployed in batch B if their verification is successful.

LET'S TALK ABOUT NIN FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION

NYSC introduced the inclusion of the National Identification Number (NIN) in January 2024 as one of the mandatory requirements for online registration.

Now many PCMs are not clear about how it works, especially those with different dates of birth here and there. This simple guide is for you.

👉🏾 Your name on NIN must tally with the name on your senate list. You cannot be John Uche on your NIN and your senate list is John Uchechukwu.

👉🏾 The date of birth on NIN doesn't matter. NYSC draws your DOB from your record on JAMB.

👉🏾 Married ladies with their husband's surname on NIN are advised to visit NIMC office to update their profile by adding their maiden name.

👉🏾 You don't need the physical NIMC slip for online registration. You only need the NIN or what most people call "NIN number" 😆

In summary, what matters is that your name is correct on the NIMC database. If it's not, consider visiting their office to update your profile.

Nice pictures. Sorry, I said DIY because I saw online that holes should be made in the sack before filling with soil.

Another website even said a holes should be made in the sack to help for water drain. These has left me confused.

Hello Nairalanders. I've always fancied the idea of gardening, but laziness and lack of space in rented apartments have hindered me.

Recently, I've been considering sack or bucket farming and found through Google search that it's a possibility. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a guide that helps with implementation.

I'm appealing to experienced Nairalanders to kindly share a "Do It Yourself" sack farming guide to help educate Nigerians about the possibility of food production.

My interest lies only in subsistence farming for crops like tomatoes, peppers, ugwu, and bitter leaf. Helpful video links or related articles would also be appreciated.🙏

By food poisoning, I believe you mean people who react to food.

Unfortunately, NYSC doesn't cater to individual preferences of corps . However, there are restaurants in mami where you can get any dish of your choice.
