it won’t cost u more than 3,500. But before proceeding to work it make sure the home button is still the original factory home button. All u need to do is to change the home button flex cable. If u are good with phone I will suggest u check it out first if the cable was fixed properly. U can pull it out and put it back in again and make sure u hear the click sound to show it enter well. Then restart and know if the pop will show up again. And yes I can fix it but am not in lagos.

yes it's fixable if the home button is still the original home button that came with the phone from apple. I will like to know if u restart ur device is there a pop up that says unable to activate touch ID on this iPhone? If ur answer is No, then the problem is software but if yes then it's hardware and the culprit is always the fragile home button flex cable that is attached to that metal plate behind the screen. It's easy to fix

sorry for the late reply. First of all was the fingerprint working before? If yes, when did u noticed that the fingerprint no longer works? 2ndly, has did u work on the phone recently? I will need ur answers to determine if it’s a software glitch or hardware.

I just got the phone as Uk used and honestly did not check the fingerprint thingy until later. So I dot know if it had been worked on nor when it started.

I’ve updated the OS though and the problem still persists so I’m guessing it is hardware related.

Question now is, is it fixable and have you any idea how much it could cost me ?

It boils down to two things.

1. Norway and Switzerland are just fine because of their internal culture and politics, which is very different to the UK.

The UK privatised its oil resources, so while some got very rich from it, it’s difficult to estimate how much of it actually trickled down to the common people.

On a per capita basis, Switzerland is the most industrial country in the world. In my Swiss apartment I can find everything from rubbish bins, toilet seats, to fridges and dish washers that were made in Switzerland. The local business model for manufacturing has often been “make one thing, get good at it, and make it for one hundred years”. The same cannot be said for the UK, which has been largely de-industrialised since the 1980s.

2. Staying single is not the same as getting a divorce.

The UK has been a part of the EU since the 1970s. Similar to a marriage, where two parties live together, get used to each other’s presence, boundaries, and idiosyncrasies, the EU defined a lot of rules of engagement between UK and other EU countries. To break away from this relationship is not the same as never ed this relationship in the first place. New rules needs to be set up for every previous relation that was taken for granted. For the UK to go on as business as normal with EU after Brexit is akin to a couple living together after a divorce. While it can be done, I know many would rather not have this arrangement.

Norway and Switzerland on the other hand, have never entered into this relationship. So they are not going to go through this phase of separation and renegotiation.

For the Brexit to truly work, in the economic sense, the EU would need to disintegrate. This is what many of the “leave” campaigners were counting on, in the words of UKIP’s Nigel Farage:

“… a collection of sovereign nations living together, trading together….”

However, the likelihood of this EU disintegration is dependent on the rest of the EU member states.

Dear all,

First I start by appreciating God, the maker of all that be and be not, and also every well meaning nairalander that has posted helpful interview tips from which we all benefit.

I have been through the various interview phases of DBH solutions in the last couple of weeks and God so good an offer came in yesterday, which I am very excited about, however good the salary seem to be, it still is well below the range of what is paid for that same position in the organization according to my research. Please note that I was careful enough to avoid the topic of expected salary throughout the 4 phases of my interview. Now that an offer has been made and I am to resume in about a week, I need help from professionals in the house on how best to negotiate the package and ensure I am getting the best out of it.
