No I didn’t attend AF. I was just consistent with Duolingo and thought I had definitely ed A1. We falsely assume sometimes what the distinctions are between each niveau.

I need advice as I have almost gotten to the point of giving up on this Canadian PR.
I and my husband are in the pool with me as the main applicant. We currently have a score of 472. But it seems like they won’t be calling that any time soon at this rate. I have tried to look into most PNP routes but we don’t fit into any as I don’t have any family in Canada, I don’t have tech experience either.

Is there anything I am over looking ?
Is there another route we can consider for PR ?

Got married in November 2020 and added my spouse in December 2020. She ed medicals in April 2021.

My newborn arrived in March 2021. I sent numerous webforms to IRCC to inform them. He was finally added in September 2021. I also attached updated proof of funds. I used Piggyvest and 25% pension for the proof of funds, even though the funds in my Piggyvest were sufficient.

Request for Medicals for New born - February 2022

Request for Re-med for me - March 2022

Request for Re-med for spouse - April 2022. She already did up-front medicals before the IRCC request and I had to call them directly to recognise the upfront medicals after sending about 5 webforms without receiving any response. Upfront medicals was finally updated in late April

ADR - PCC and Form A - April 2022. We ed the documents on 6 May 2022.

PPR - Today, 13 June 2022. My mind was doing gbim gbim I was logging into my profile to check the mail from IRCC. Lo and behold, it was the much awaited PPR.

I got most of the information for the process - including addition of spouse and newborn from this thread. Many thanks to everyone that has contributed in one way or the other. This express entry is really a test of perseverance and is not for the faint-hearted. I almost gave up at some point, especially when people that applied after me in 2020 were getting PPR within 4 months. I making a post on this thread about withdrawing my application, because it felt as if my life was on hold. If you are in the process, don't give up and be sure to respond to requests from IRCC ASAP. I believe their aim is to clear the backlog between now and July, so there's hope.

Everything in Nigeria will stress you. If you know you need your port urgently, don't go thru the DIY route else, you might be frustrated.
Finally got my port 2months after Capturing.
Had to sort someone to Fast-track before I could collect it.
Took just 5days after payment. Again, give yourself between 3/6 months if you want to go thru DIY route.

For port renewal, you'll be needing some/all of the following:

1.) NIN Slip (photocopy);
2.) Expired port (Original for 'sighting');
3.) Data Page of Expired port (photocopy);
4.) port Photograph (2 or more copies, in case of necessity);
5.) Payment Receipt (as printed after making your payment online);
6.) Letter to the PCO (Oftentimes, a sample is pasted on the wall for you to copy. Just go along with a pen and a blank sheet of A4 paper);
7.) Data Form (as printed after submitting your application online);
8.) Cardboard File (Colour differs across centres & port types, so be prepared to buy the designated one at your centre of choice).
