You will have to select location, Lagos or Abuja, you will have to continue clicking on the next month till you find a date available,sometimes no date is available but you have to keep checking you might be lucky to see a closer date but i think dates are more available in Abuja than Lagos.

There is date available for 31st of January 2025 in lagos, if you need to reschedule appointment,you can be so lucky to do that now.

If you can track your application and it showed transferred to VAC without getting an email yet, your port Should be ready for collection. I tracked this morning and it showed transferred to VAC and tried my luck to see if it’s available and I was told it’s ready but they are yet to scan it into the into system and I was given. Visa approved the 6th renewal though.

It took 8 good weeks to get ready since the day of submission. Biometrics. Sep 7 and collected port back nov 3. If you can’t wait and able to afford priority just pay for it and it should be ready in one week.

NB:Your intend travel date has nothing to do with your visit when your visa is approved. You can travel anytime after u get your visa.

If you have tax clearance add it and if you don’t proof to them you have sufficient income to cover your trip and enough balance that will be enough for your expenses when you return to Nigeria, your bank statement, employment letter, leave approval letter and every other thing that is showing your relationship with the company is enough evidence that you are employed to the company.

I doubt it means anything.Its usually a delay in TLS updates that cause the messages to rush in that way.
I HV seen people get the two messages in the space of like 2 hours and they still got their visas.
Mind you,once UKVI informs you that your application has been assessed,they are already done with your application.

You dont need dates on picture,they will actually know it's a different days pictures.Not all pictures have dates they just want evidence of relationship thats all. Even myself when i first applied 2013 they denied me because i didnt put my family evidence and i re applied in just a week and added marriage certificates,child birth certificate and our pictures without altering anything in the form i filled in the previous application and i was granted.

You are welcome..You need to include everything you included in your last application and other relevant ing documents but ensure everything is done in A4 size so they can scan everything online to sheffield.

The VFS officer attending to you will be the one to scan the pictures when submitting the application. to be consistent with what you filled in the last form.

@captgb If you read up,I have explained to you that you have to make your photos in a A4 Size or photocopy them,so the the scanning machine can scan it..There is no where on the application form to pictures. The machine will not scan any ing documents thats not in A4 SIZE.

@ Godfrey,you dont need to be worried about the date,if they assess that you have good ties in the country and you have good cost of travel,your intended date of travel means nothing since you are not going for a conference and i hope they already email you that your application has been received in sheffield?

If you are a applying for uk visa now,you need to make photocopies of all ing documents and they must be in A4 size if you want it to be scanned to sheffield office as thats where they make decisions now. I will advise you re apply immediately with the picture evidences they required and make sure you didnt alter anything in the form you filled before.But can state in the additional note that you have attached the photo evidences and dont forget to make copies in A4 size it could be colored or black and white cos thats what the machine accepts for scanning.

Please if you got your visa recently did you get email from sheffield directly or from TLS or both when your application has been assessed.I will really appreciate urgent response to calm my nerves.Thanks

Yes it changed that it is ready but sometimes they wont update it.maybe because your visa was decided in sheffield mine was from ukvisalagos.

Its advisable you dont overstay your visa to avoid future refusal,its better you come back to your home country and apply for another visa.

@ frontpagelawyer, justwise and all, pls on d application form where questions was asked "if u have family and relatives,..i said Yes but I don't have their addresses and they do call once in a while with call card. So I only click yes and typed in their names and status, without putting their addresses or call number and I won't be staying with any of them either.(we are not that close)
My issue now is that d third reason for refusing my previous application was becos I did not provide any documentary evidence of the relative. I won't be staying with.(I tire ooo)
Please house how do I correct or put my statement to the ECO about this point in my new application becos I can't be providing what I don't have and I already had an hotel reserved for myself with no intention of visiting any fam.

The best thing to have done is to say you dont any relative in the Uk if you dont have their full details and provide them with your hotel reservation.or state it clearly in your additional information that they are not close relatives and you dont keep in touch with one another and they dont know about your visit since you are not staying with any of them..but its advisable to say u have no when you cant provide their info.

That cant be the main reason you were refused,it might be because you dont have enough money to cover your stay in UK without family or friends that would you during your stay in the UK.

Sorry about this,is it the first time you are applying?UK sometimes needs proper calculation.I will advise you to apply again at the shortest possible time showing the evidence they requested for and in your additional information let them know you didnt inflate the your that you have savings as well..But i think the reason you were refused was because you want to spend half of all the money in your for just few days holiday.It doesnt make sense doing that..You should have calculated spending just about 1,000 pounds for the trip and that can make it reasonable enough.The problem with UK embassy is that they already have all the records and if you decide to alter the information..It might backfire.Maybe you seek legal advise from an immigration expert.Best of luck in your future application.

I will advise you to go check tls office because sometimes their system wont update it.I got my port the second day i got the mail from UKlagos office that decision has been made despite saying 2 working days.
