Nice one but for Nigeria to work quicker, we have to kill off tribal identities. If you think that's too much to ask for then we are better off apart. We can't be apart within and still expect homogeneity in action.

SmartPolician:Is that really the case? How many parts of Africa are they resident in and how are those areas faring? Is Nigeria's problem a northern problem or a leadership problem? Heterogeneity blocks development at a certain point but in what way has northern Nigeria blocked the development of the country? Have they blocked the introduction of certain bills that will ease of the rate of unemployment, education, agriculture, finance, etc? I understand that heterogeneity will make it difficult for Nigeria to work but really, how are the north responsible for all our bad leadership? |

He keeps using the word 'Reform' to minimise the damage he's doing to the people. How can every stupid decision be tagged a reform? They think that by calling it a reform it will not just sound but also become progressive? There's no reformation in Agriculture, Education, Unemployment, etc., and the old man and his propaganda team wants us to look at his poor decisions as some form of reform. Which reforms exactly? Where? You are just inflicting pain on the country and talking about some imaginary reform. 2 Likes |

Arostar2023:They will call this sort of thinking backward because they can't see the logic in it. I know someone who went to court to remove his English name from his official names because he's against anything western and their gods. You wonder why he didn't do it for language. That's because his brain is not as consistent as he wants to appear. If English names are bad simply because they are English names, why isn't the English language bad too. Lol. 1 Like |

Kushites:How are imperialists stopping your governors from constructing quality hospitals and roads? Break it down for me how these imperialists are responsible for Nigerians voting fools out of tribal sentiments and hatred? How are they responsible for a typical Nigerian throwing trash on the road after eating? How are they responsible for our lack of personal development? Whose fault is it that your leaders collude with imperialist? You think any country in this world doesn't look out for themselves? How is it the fault of foreigners that our leaders do no protect our own interest? |

Kemetian:You can switch my position as much as you like but anyone with a thinking brain understands it clearly. Being anti-west is not a progressive policy in and of itself. Everyone stole from everybody. It only depends on how far back you are willing to go. If you had common sense you'd have known that your leaders have become the new west. |

lexdino:Still blaming the west. Whose fault is it at this point? When oil was discovered in Saudi Arabia and the Arab American company (Aramco) was formed, same thing played out but the Saudi's through focused and sound leadership were able to buy rights to all of Aramco and take over 100% percent of the company. Korea was under Japanese rule and their resources were exploited but by capitalising on the events after the second world war they were free and secondly they had to face american interference which they surmounted and created giants like Samsung, LG, Hyundai, etc. They had leadership with a plan. I can go on and on. The problem of Africa is not that its resources were stolen (everyone's resources were stolen) but the failure of leadership in Africa. The west and the east will always fend for themselves. No country is founded with the mission of helping other countries grow. It's left for countries to extricate themselves from the fangs of other countries and that in itself is not progress as long as they end up becoming the new imperialist. You can keep blaming everyone but until you do something about the enemy on the mirror you would be wasting your time. |

Feldie:Seriously! It's really sad. We've been starved of progress and love so much that we can kiss anything. To get the average African by your side simply start blaming the west and others for looting Africa while looting the country as you do so. Our leaders, even in Nigeria here, have mastered the art of dividing the people while they eat. A president from one side of the country will covertly and overtly raise online and offline warriors from his tribe to create conflicts in the tribes while stealing from all the tribes. They will push narratives on why certain tribes are holding others down while they hold the entire country down. Idia Amin opposed the west. Abacha did. Nguemo did. All the men that have ruled Africa haved used this formula. But when you look at people who started the journey with us, like Singapore, South Korea, Saudi, etc., whose resources were exploited and you notice how divergent and progressive their formula was. Singapore, in fact, after splitting from Malaysia, didn't ditch English language because of international trade. Here, someone calls it progressive when wigs are replaced by traditional court attires. We are not a serious people. 1 Like |

Should Nigeria also pay reparations to the west for the people captured by the kings of the time and sold into slavery?

SmartPolician:Exactly. The guy hasn't really made the country better than he met it but they are calling him an African hero. Ditching the west is not tantamount to development but that's our definition of it. 4 Likes |

Omoawoke:Generally, fans view Barca differently because of one or two errors in their past. If it was the other way round it will be the main point of discussion in this thread. VAR didn't even bother to review it and when the coach complained he was given a yellow card. Like how exactly did they miss that? They know better. |
