I was careless with my and someone hacked it. I raised alarm when I was alerted. For that I am very sorry and wish I could do something.

You were also not very careful before you made the transaction. You went as far as calling and hearing a guy pick up. You fell for someone who said his vouch was deleted. Take some responsibility for that.

Wait boss hold on. Its paypal. From what i can see, the scammer or impersonator will not get the money till 30th of september, and this is just 24th. Jidobaba you still have 6 days to do a dispute, do a charge back and paypal that the funds were unauthorized transaction. A case of scam happened to me with the scammer dinar, and in less than 1 week from dispute, paypal refunded the money from his sharp sharp. Its how paypal works, its not easy to steal using their medium... DO A CHARGEBACK OR DISPUTE and if you don't get a refund by paypal because the funds will be on Hold in the person's , if no refund, then bring the matter back to nairaland after 30th or so and Mynd44 can do a full refund for you

Please jidobaba and skitkid2, consider this route. I am not familiar with PayPal but if this can work, please report it as soon as possible.
