AmuEbule: Today, I officially commissioned the newly constructed Lagos State Commercial Court at Tapa, Lagos Island. This building embodies our commitment to fostering a judicial environment that delivers timely, efficient, and specialized adjudication of commercial disputes. The commercial court has ten fully furnished courtrooms, complemented by libraries on each floor and well-equipped conference rooms. These facilities will not only enhance the judicial experience but will also serve as a refuge for those seeking justice in their commercial dealings. Our goal is to create a legal framework that s economic growth, encourages investment, promotes entrepreneurship, and ultimately simplifies the process of doing business in Lagos State. I remain committed to driving forward initiatives that not only stimulate economic development but also ensure that justice prevails in all corners of Lagos State. That’s SanwoOlu speaking. Now, is it only for tax related matters? Benighted fellow |

AmuEbule: You’re still proving that your brain isn’t mature. A Judge will have about 500 case files, now there is a commercial court that will take off about 200 from a Judge cos the files they will treat are mainly commercial matters related. Other Judges for criminal matters, Lands Matter and General Civil matters can be efficient with reduced work loads. You won’t understand…. You’re growing in stature but not developing mentally. |

AmuEbule: Have you ever checked cause list? You guys will just be speaking from a place of Ignorance. This Court is built for expedition of process so that commercial issues can be dealt with quickly and easily and not burdening other Courts with Litigations over land and still adjudicate on commercial related litigation |

Things might be hard but if we are being objective, Tinubu is one of the most intentional leaders we’ve had in recent years. Not holding brief for that guy but every society that wants to thrive will have to go through some periods of pain… no nation had it smooth at all times. Europe used unethical means to become what it is today. Nigeria has no power to enslave other nations, to build it will have to do with the pains and resourcefulness if its citizens. If Tinubu’s part will start the needed change, I do not know but I am sure this painstaking start will have great results at some point. However, he spends too much on unnecessary stuff like palliatives and this cash transfer bla bla…. The money goes back to thieving government officials. If he can block those loopholes, the better for everyone. 1 Like |
