Go to GTBank.com and you'll see that someone seems to have hijacked it from them. Maybe they forgot to renew it and the person quickly ed it in split second. In that case, it wasn't a hacking attempt, by any means. It's called domain squatting.

Your entire point is about 'tribe'. I do not believe or want to continue with the views ofbseeing groups of of people, especially ones made of of literally tens of millions as 'tribe'. That is insulting and demeaning of those peoples and ethnic groups.

I never singled out any people groups, Yoruba or Igbo in my write-up especially for criticism or "adulation/praises". I pointed out quick and recognizable examples and instances that came to my mind as I write.

You're making this about your so-called issues of "tribe", I am being holistic about historical, international, continental, national and racial issues and why the entire Africa and Black people as a whole are still at the bottom.
Do you think Africa is the only continent with tribal or racial issues?? And FYI, the way you mentioned two people from one tribe painting them as victims of tribalism/racism and then called out another set of two people from another tribe using a very insulting word, puts this thread on tribal trajectory.

You think the media in the US don't way its reportage of issues when it has to involve two different races in order to include a sense of balance - whether the races are White, Hispanic, Asian or African. Racial and tribal sentiments exist everywhere and there's no point denying them.

I am happy about this reply, I can talk about it.
I can not go into and talk about every discuss in such a short post. I would need to write a book for this. But you always want to drag "tribes" and the Igbo particularly in discussions. But as A Nigerian I can not see how the Igbos affect or hinder the progress of the country or me personally, or affect any national laws or policies.?!
You don't have to talk about every tribe in order to drive your point home, but Nigeria is 'majorly' a tripartite country made up of Yoruba, Hausa and Igbo and each of these tribes have practiced nepotism and tribalism against one another in the past. So you can't just wake up and decide to write a post to pour adulation/praise on one tribe and make it look like a victim whilst others are to be vilified and spat on.
BTW, some people think I'm Igbo here due to my criticism of the govt while some others think I'm Yoruba because of my balanced views on pro Yoruba issues and I've never been involved in tribal tirades and fisticuffs. So where did you see me always dragging tribes and Igbo into discussions??

The failure of the August protest was announcing it more than 4 weeks before the start. I hope they don't do the same mistake this time around. They should just keep quiet and do the mobilizing in secrecy and only announce it 3 days to.

I also didn't talk about the fact The Southern Kaduna people are so tribalistic and bigoted to come together and agree in Kaduna State against the malice by the Muslim North even as I too am from the State.

Nairaland has enough memory space and enough people like you to create the post about any topic. Do it yourself.
No, this is not a good response. Striking a balance in writeups like this one, is very important. It helps to put your opinion on a good stand.

Lies! If the organizers had 1% of that huge amount, they'd have shut down Abuja by importing tens of thousands of protesters from nearby northern states and the protest would have continued till date.

Buhari promised to take our power generation to 10,000MW while Tinubu has now promised to make it 6,000MW — meaning he wants to remove 4000mw from what Buhari left behind grin. What a sad tale of a backward party.

You don't Kamala more than me, but the truth is , the time is not just ripe yet for a woman to lead the world most powerful nation.

Wait and see the atrocities of Islamic terrorists around the world if Kamala finally wins. They will even price USA because Kamala as a woman will bring so much emotions into politics and decision making. No woman has the steel balls men have.
I want Trump to win too, but I'm sorry to say that the intelligence rating of this comment is 1/10. Nobody s Kamala more than you so, but you want her opponent to win. How's that a ??

Imagine that developed countries were very poor at sports and Africans are the ones leading, we would have said their skin is not strong enough for physically rigorous activities like sports, unlike African skin and that that's why they're failing.
Lesson: If you want to fail, you'll have 1,001 excuses to push you into it.

Yes, abi Donald Trump as incumbent no accuse Biden of election fraud?
That's a one-off case. And it's even totally different from this one. I mean, a New York politician castigating the governor for criticising Joe Biden, saying after all Biden had done to influence the judges to rule in his favour at the election tribunal. Ever happened?? No worries, I know you'll be relying on your fake likes to make it look like your points are more germane than mine.

This man is trying to worm his way into Tinubu's heart for a 2027 governorship run.

But our Nigerian polithiefcians are not even ashamed or afraid to own up to presidents helping governors to win cases in court?? Is this how they do it in countries like or US??

I did not see him in the last one. He will run to US while others do the protest for him.
Even if some are killed, he don't care as long as he is not properly settled.

Igbo people will not . Adding NK is just to lure igbo in. The protest no concern una. He is working with the presidency. Check out the long term goal and see why they want u to desperately as the first one failed to achieve what they aimed for.
LOL. Looks like you don't know Sowore's antecedents. Sowore run from civilian govt in 2024?? Sowore that stayed in Nigeria for more than 3 years till he recently went back to visit his family just this year?? Stop this plain blackmailing. Igbos do not have the masterplan to protests and nobody needs them for a protest to succeed or fail.

They thought he'd be an easy tool since he had already branded the refinery as a scam. But offering $500 to somebody like David is quite a big insult.
malali:
This piece attempts to weave a grand conspiracy of Western powers plotting against Africa, using environmental concerns as a guise to undermine Nigeria’s refinery efforts. However, the argument presented is riddled with inconsistencies and lacks a clear understanding of the broader issues at hand.
First, the idea that Western NGOs are solely responsible for Africa’s underdevelopment is a dangerous oversimplification. While it’s true that international interests have played a role in shaping Africa’s economic landscape, blaming them for every challenge Africa faces ignores the complexities of governance, corruption, and economic mismanagement within the continent itself. African leaders, businesses, and institutions must also be held able for their role in the current state of affairs....

How come South Africans didn’t feel inferior like you when Nigeria was sending them millions of dollars a month to fight apartheid? How come they didn’t feel inferior like you when Nigeria was giving ANC leaders including their former president Thabo Mbeki, scholarships to study in Nigerian universities during apartheid?
Just read the trash you wrote and see how it contains 0 sense. I could decide to take you on every point you raised here and floor you, but I don't have your time.

Cool. I laugh when people mention the small increase in electricity supply is due to rainy season. Thats a lie coz most of Nigeria plant is thermal.

So how does thermal and rain relate?
Nigeria's power is anchored by hydro. That's why every year, between May and November, power is very regular, due to the rains. We can only say there's an improvement when our power generation hits 10,000 mw, not now that it has continued to revolve around 4-5,000mw. This is not supposed to be rocket science.

If u are here with us, U will know the momentum has really gone down as compared to what it was before the weekend

If u are in Rwanda, then ask from your Nigerian friend about how the protest have been going before u go about saying what u dont know

Most states already pulled out. So whats there to report again
